1 I’ve applied for a role that looks and sounds very promising, I’ve spoken with them and I’m hoping to hear something back Wednesday, I’m daring to be very hopeful.:)
2 What a stunning day, hung a washing load out.
3 Meal planning today was chicken and slaw roll for lunch my favourite, and duck and pancake things with plum sauce and cucumber will be dinner.
4 Engaged an estate agent to sell, really don’t know what to expect, more talks with them on Monday.
5 I very half heartedly gathered a garden tip run together with help from our little ill one, but I can’t get to the tip for a few days yet. Planted out my tomatoes to grow bags, we’ll see. Courgette needs to be planted in the greenhouse I am holding off as I don’t think it will survive the numerous things that eat it so preparing in there first. Planted out 2 plants into the front garden it all took ages with not a lot to show.:o
6 Made another list for next week of things that need to be arranged before the estate agents get in, made a list or I’ll forget.:o
7 Lovely long catch up with DB.

    1. The broken tiles on the front and back of the house have been fixed. Only taken about a year.

    2. Tidied the front garden. It looks better and the house looks more respectable.

    3. Couple of chats with neighbour as she came in and out. Also chatted with another neighbour as she cleaned her bin.

    4. Loads of decluttering done.

    5. Evening out with friends. We hadn't seen them for a while but will see them more often.

Have a great weekend House Elf

    Friday pleasures,

HM granary toast with cashew nut butter, yum.

Off to local hospital for blood tests, took a book in preparation for a long wait but only one ahead of me in queue and was out in 10 minutes. Took advantage of time in hand to pick up haylage and carrots for horse girlie. Also found a cheapish bridle and bit to use just for lunging.

Had a chat with a friend and her spaniel is in pup, apparently the gentleman dog concerned is chocolate so good chance she will have a least one choccie pup. My little girl is 7 so perfect time to have a friend, I have until late July to persuade Capt S :rotfl:

My not so little horse girlie was pleased to see her Mum with so many supplies and kept calling to me across the yard as I was putting everything away.

Watched GW and salivated over all the plants at RHS Chatsworth. Noted that the alpine nursery is not a million miles from me and has an open day in July, now on calendar.

Too tired and sad to post yesterday. Just something about work, fortunately dealt with thoroughly by another member of staff.

    Pleasures for today:

    1) A bit of a lie in.

    2) Cooked breakfast.

    3) Bigger son went to work.

    4) Smaller son and I went to the outskirts of Coventry and got FOUR NEW EX-BATTERY HENS! Hoorah!

Got them back OK and Samantha has gone from being silent to shouting constantly (we try and work out what she's saying to them). They look awful - feathers are missing, combs too large, weedy - but are very feisty and are shouting back to Samantha, running about, flapping their wings. I taught them to drink from a bowl and one has been flying up to sit on our knees! Going back in a minute to put them in the sleeping quarters. :-)

    5) Popped to carpet town to buy bigger son a black shirt. He starts a new (p/t) job tomorrow morning as a waiter.

    6) Tasty tea.

    7) Watched Casualty.

Another busy day. Another hot day.

Up early. Had a better -ish sleep on mattress downstairs. Lovely 90 minute chat with DD1.

Went to morrisons for compost & some plants & came home & filled my new Belfast sinks.

Quick walk in morning with friend & old lady dog & a longer one this evening.

My dog who is limping decided to run & chase another dog way across the street. Much hullabaloo . Prior to this had been lying quietly whilst I planted.

Cut grass. Sigh. But it's done.

Haggis' bandage had slipped so had to go back to vets . This was not on the schedule. Much stress!

Great nieces musical theatre group concert. Sigh! If it had been in an air conditioned hall it would have been at least bearable

Got some RTC flowers & DD got a couple of nice things in charity shops.

    Had takeaway for tea.

    Dog walk.

Minutest of snoozettes whilst trooping the colour was on ... I was listening not watching, honest!

Sorted flowers, watered plants, watched Casualty.

    Night x
