Good evening. Just going to go out in the humid heat ( how did I ever manage in Melbourne...oh that's right, I just moaned on here for at least 4 months of the year) and doggy walk.
Nice chat with DD1 first thing.
Nice dog walk with H and his ladies.
Washings out.
Walked down to our local castle with friend and had a lovely lunch outside overlooking the castle lawn and castle. Almost perfect! Great to catch up just the 2 of us. There's always others around so nice to chat about everything and anything! Walk back home which is uphill at the way!
I probably won't need tea but might just have some fruit later. I'd a baked potato for lunch and then a slice of honeycomb tiffin. Stuffed!0 -

Quick pleasures for today (Monday).
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Went to work, but only until 11.
3) Tidied up on the allotment (ready for the new hens). Had a bonfire too, cleaned the sleeping quarters out and treated them with red mite spray.
4) Changed my bed.
5) Quite a tasty tea. Made puttenesca sauce which I had over courgettes and smaller son had with pasta shells.
6) Watched the last of the English Scandal trilogy then 24 Hours in Police Custody.0 -
Good Morning,
Back to School! My face looks like thisbut inside.....:(
Yesterday
1. Kept smiling all day despite anxiety about next years timetable.
2. Seeing everyone and hearing about their hols. One of my students had been on an outward bound week and came to show me all her photos. She had a fabulous time!
3. Year 11 class starting to fill up their books for their accreditation. It is like pulling teeth, but finally getting somewhere
4. Took DS2 to Wakeboarding. Only got there for the last hour, so only had 2 turns. It is his first session this year, so probably enough. He was pleased he had remembered lots of his skills and tricks. It was a beautiful evening to spectate, and not too windy, so I got some admin done too!
5. McD on the way home, as it is a long drive.
Have a lovely day
Admin day today, so hopping for peace and quiet :rotfl:0 -

1. Easy drive to work. I was expecting it to be busier and then discovered that quite a few schools had an inset day. It was a pleasant surprise.
2. Work was busy but nicely busy so the day went fast. Saw someone I liked and tried to help with her situation but am limited in his much I can help.
3. Had to stop for shopping on way home as DS2 had finished all the squash and wanted more. He isn't well but improving and is now getting annoyed that he isn't well and can't do anything.
4. Had a bonfire as had turned chilly. It kept me warm and the chickens kept me company. It allowed me time to think.
5. Texts from a friend with a new born baby. She sounds so happy. Tired but happy. She had a tough Labour but all worth it now..
DS1 girlfriend texted me. She had been hit by a car in Thursday which drove off. She was left very bruised and with 2 broken vertebrae in her lower back. She is due to see consultant tomorrow.
They have reported it to the police but with no registration number the police can't do anything.
She is having problems at the moment with memory loss and confusion and has recently fallen and hurt herself recently and hit her head but this has only happened when she has been alone. I couldn't speak to DS1 yesterday as he didn't answer his phone.0 -
1. A quick but nice walk with a friend and our dogs last night
2. My dog was very well behaved i was proud of him as always
3. Love Island started last night, guilty pleasure

V Porked Pied last eve. With boiled egg and cheese on toast as well! Proper night foods and no waste. Cocoa was not drunk! Lunch box today has extra special treat. Strawberries! That is what happens when you have proper foods and not the sugared crisps. Got it!
4 Puppy fat trimming inn the gym last night. Could soon be beach ready again. So keep your eyes peeled for developments. Tours will be coming up soon! Washington and Apple of Big are in September. You’ll not want to miss out!
3 Roulette for tea tonight. Chicken Roulette with button mushrooms. Depending on my grumpiness is how hot it is. Tum will be rubbed!
2 Chase on this weakened. A steam train is spotted nearby. Further details later!
That is all the BoPimess for the now!0 -
1) Really lovely break away in Belgium with great weather, comfy hotels and beautiful singing from the Choral Society.
2) Nice to be home again and have 'my' things around me.
3) Picked the first of the courgette crop from the plant in the polytunnel last evening and had them as a Courgette, Pasta and Cheese gratin, very tasty.
4) Washing done yesterday afternoon was dry by supper time on the line in the garden and I'm off to iron it when I finish here.
5) Just had a lovely walk with Cookie dog through the village and there are some 'Yuccas' in full bloom in some of the gardens with a wonderful exotic scent from the flowers, gorgeous!0 -
villagelife I hope the girlfriend is okay? Sounds nasty
I'm slightly poorer than I was this morning as I've paid deposit for my beautiful new kitchen. It's got what I want storage space wise/ worktop space wise & a range cooker. That's my favourite bit I think. It all came within my budget & I've not had to compromise. See you in 4 months range cooker:)
Bit of a running around day. GP for DD, kitchen place, she went back to GP, large Tesco for the loo & then a baked potato! Home. Back to GP. Went to police station to claim ring that I'd found in February that I kept forgetting to deal with! It's very sparkly
Popped down to friends to show her my kitchen plans. Blether there.
Lovely walk first thing with doggies. Was pleasantly cool then but it is now just boiling.
Not terribly hungry so shall munch later.0
