    Pleasures for today (Thursday)

    1)Not a bad sleep.

    2) Went to Topps Tiles and ordered the floor for the dining room.

    3) Paid smaller son's birthday money into the bank.

    4) Went to B and Q for more filler.

    5) Filled the holes in the door frame between the dining room and kitchen. (The frame had been messed about with when a sliding door had been fitted in the 70s and I've ripped that out).

    6) Took smaller son to Lidl.

    7) Weeded the garden.

    Pleasures for today (Friday)

    1)Not a bad sleep.

    2) Went to coffee morning and did a crossword.

    3) Gave the doorframe 2 coats of paint.

    4) Pulled up half of the living room floor.

    5) Made a big curry for tea.

Good morning. Very wet day here so just decided to head home from CP, so arrived home about 7.15am.

Yesterday I’d arrived about 6.30am and had a nice teeny tiny walk with doggy. Managing a teeny teeny weeny bit more each day ( I go by the space between the trees) but I have to be mindful we have to be able to walk back to the car.

Swim swim and a nice chatter. I had popped over early and it was luckily opened so I had had some swim time on my own. And I like both.,.solo swimming and chatty swimming!

Started a library book ( due back tomorrow) and finished it last night.

Had a visit from The Baby so that was nice as always. And the rain started just after they left.

Friend called. So managed about 20 minutes of connectivity!

And went to bed once I’d finished my book. And slept relatively well by my caravan sleep standards.

Woke at 5am to pouring rain and thought…hmmm home early! Pool won’t be opened. Roads very quiet on drive back.

And me again for my Sunday pleasures.

Making the right decision to come home early. I don’t stay that far that it would be a silly drive home but it has lashed all day , pool wouldn’t be open, and any teeny tiny walks would be soggy ones and wet dog smell in caravan and loads of blooming grass ( gets cut often so there’s always grass being trailed in especially when it’s wet) so home we came, I had a shower and then went to supermarket for a proper shop.

Wrote a list of chores and scored them all off.

Had a snoozette. Then woken up by the ping of my phone with an email to say a Vinted parcel had been dropped off at supermarket. Our local shop now has lockers which saves having to go in to town. Hurrah! So had some plastic bags to recycle and a book to add to the charity shelf and picked up my parcel.

Had a bit of work to do.

    Chat to friend.

FaceTime with The Baby. Today is only the second day haven’t seen her. I am very lucky.

Had a RTC lasagna of the finest variety and corn on the cob and broccoli for tea.

The sun keeked through and dried up all the rain at teatime.

Just put the washing machine on and set a timer so my cossie will be dry for the morning! And I’ll hang the rest out in the morning.

For Monday…woke up from a very anxious dream at 4am did managed to get back to sleep but woke later than I’d hoped…after 6.30am…late for me and had hoped to have been out by then! Anyway drove in very busy traffic ( hence leaving earlier) and headed to CP.

Lovely walk. Said good morning to a pheasant on a gate and 2 deer in the field just over the hedge from where I’d parked. Had a moment with them and then got dog out of car. Oh it was the most gorgeous start to the day. Gentle warmth coming off the sun and the sunlight dappled between the tree leaves. Joy.

Up to caravan and had my breakfast. My aim this week is to eat breakfast!

    Lovely swim.

Did my caravan housework. Hoovered. Washed floors and cleaned bathrooms. And came home…but had had 3 nice chatters this morning.

We did a little walk before we left…different way than usual and it had a slight incline. We’ve just been walking on the flat. But doggy boy did well. He was knacked though!

Second washing hung out ( caravan towels and swim suit) and off I went to DD2s.
    Hello baby!

Shoulda woulda coulda been mobile library day but apparently it had broken down …so had two nice chatters with neighbours on my way there and back.

Had a gammon steak, leftover cauliflower cheese and broccoli and corn on the cob for tea.

Had a snoozette ( unintentionally but it happened 😆) with sun pouring in the patio doors…was nice to see blue sky and sunshine today!

    2) Painted the skirting and door frame ready for the new floor.

    3) Smaller son and I took all the old carpet and tiles to the tip.

    4) Went to Aldi.

    5) A grey tabby cat came through my window then sat on the window sill!

    6) 6 weeks completed of the blood sugar diet. Arms have gone thinner, which isn't the area I would have chosen!
