Highdays- hope all turns out well for your sister and they find a reason and can treat it.
For yesterday
- Work was ok - had enough time to breathe and give patients time they deserve. Especially good as could do it without everyone else being seen late.
- Enjoyed my walk to and from the bus. It was very springlike.
- Applied for more leave in November as there are now more restrictions on how many can take leave at any one time.
- Time in the garden with a coffee after work. Looking at what has been achieved and not what still needs to be done.
- DH bought sushi for tea so enjoyed eating tea.

Evening all 😊
Highdays, hope your brother and sister are okay 😊. Snap on the bluebell woods.
Did some baking on Monday, sultana fairy cakes and cheese scones 😋Yesterday we visited some bluebell woods just a couple of minutes drive from us, really beautiful 😍 it was good to be out of the wind in the woods.
Today our sky package was transferred to our new home, unfortunately one of the new tvs had a damaged screen so will have to be exchanged. We now have tv and broadband so I don’t think we’ll be staying at the rental again. We’ve had a good catch up this evening.
I went to Lidl this afternoon so the new fridge and freezer are well stocked and tonight’s dinner was creamy chicken with mushrooms and red pepper.
The wardrobe and media wall materials are arriving first thing tomorrow and hopefully by the end of the day we might have somewhere to hang our clothes 😊
Meeting up with friends tomorrow at friend’s beach hut, so that should be good.
Night all 💤

Beautiful photo's Paulie.
I found an angelica seed growing so potted it up to plant it in the right area.
I keep tracking the tulip in a vase, and it’s still going strong.
DH bought the dehydrator inside while we dry out a baker’s lot of eggs, as I didn’t fancy walking egg trays out to where it normally is. It was entertaining and had me questioning can I even crack an egg without getting shell in.
The ferrets received their food order today which filled up a freezer, and they are booked in for health checks next week – also popular enough people want to meet them when we get there which is sweet.

A few things applied for; one looks like a great match.
The house is deep cleaned, windows cleaned, and I may have overdone it.
Picked up DH’s prescription and an Aldi shop.
Spent a good few minutes enjoying the sun in the garden and watching butterflies around.

Good morning.
Back in the land of wifi. Was down at CP yesterday and drove home at 6.30am
Wednesday was a bit rubbish as I had a dental procedure done that was a bit traumatic for me! Anyway done. And felt much better on Thursday.Yesterday was out in the morning and as soon as I was back in packed my bags and a dog and off we went. Got there about 1pm and had a quick walk and then later in the afternoon had a longer walk. It was just the most gorgeous day! Our first warm day in ages. We’ve maybe had sunny ( when it’s not been raining) but there’s been a cold wind so it was just perfect!
Sat outside on my decking and finished my book and then started another later. And ate my tea outside too! How pleasant. Just opposite me is the most beautiful pink blossom tree in full bloom and then behind it the bluest of sky. ( and a big old mansion house) I just sigh contentedly when I’m there.
Was chatting to the neighbours…went over and introduced myself as we’ve just been saying hello and waving in passing.
This morning we were out before 5.30am and had a beautiful but blooming chilly walk as sun was rising. Deer in the field and then just as I got back to my door there was a rustle in the woods behind and 4 deer sped through with just their white bobtail flashing! Just wow! And then as I was leaving I thought what’s that on the welcome sign ( a stone wall) …a pheasant. That sat and allowed me to take its picture from the car window!Nice drive home though sun was still low! A chilly 0.5o but with a promise of a warm day!
Just waiting on washing finishing to hang out !
Had stripped bed yesterday so have just remade that.

Oh it’s me again!
Busy day of cleaning. DD2 and SIL moved house. It’s been a tense few weeks waiting to see what was happening and the back and forth but that’s it happened!
I had my overnight stay at CP ( they’ve been here at mine all week) and my lovely walk to set me up for the day.
Returned a faulty blender this morning on my way over…and the man didn’t seem to believe me when I said it wasn’t working because of blah blah blah…and he rather determinedly tried to sort the blah blah…except he couldn’t because it was faulty!
Much hoovering / mopping/ wiping at old house, much of which has been getting done last few weeks anyway but couldn’t do areas until the removal guys had moved…and then round to new house…they hadn’t put in as much effort…that’s all I’m saying!
So more of the same for a few hours and I came home around 3.30pm…hello doggy!
It’s been the most glorious day here!

- 4. '2 laps of the lake equals 1 mile' reads the helpful notice board. Already a pleasure several times, easily done😃. Watched big lazy carp caught and returned by a young lad. Mummy duckling count was 8, but reducing.....
- 5. It's all a vast, lovely place, Cyfarthfa Park and Castle, with Art Gallery and museum, so much of everything, differing landscapes, all so much used.
