A beautiful day, and a dress worn for the first time this year, only because I don't have any with long sleeves.
Honestly we are nursing a very unexpected suddenly poorly ferret, he went to the vets this morning, he's home with us now but refusing to eat. We've left him with his friends as he would be stressed if we separated him and we are hoping he's recovering, we are both hoping and praying he rallies tomorrow.
We needed to pop to some shops for animal bits and bobs, while out I popped into Iceland who can be very hit-and-miss in my opinion, but on this occasion, the couple of offers and a couple of yellow stickers later the freezer is happier.

A much needed quiet day ahead of a few busy days today.
Up early. And headed down to CP after I’d hung out a washing and pulled the bin in.
We had a lovely walk and then just a nice slow morning of just being quiet . Came home around 2pm ish.
Been a beautiful sunny day.All prepped for work tomorrow.

Thank you for the ferret wishes it seems as the hours have progressed over the last 48 hours he has a couple of things that led to a culmination, we got him through the night, and I can’t tell you the relief when I heard him eating hard food this morning. He’s having little hand fed convalescence as well, as we need to improve his health as we aren’t sure, but it looks like he is going to need an operation we’re waiting to see how he goes this evening.
We lost a lot of sleep so took it easy ish today, but I did change our bedding, got it washed/line dried and back on.
Really pleased something I wanted for DH’s birthday is available again.
I made a fake away, but it honestly didn’t pass muster, but glad I tried.

Good to hear that your little one is doing better PK.
For the last few days,
In all honesty I’ve felt really quite rough with a spring cold so it’s mainly been about hot honey & lemon with lumps of fresh ginger in it!
There was a farrier visit and we talked all things wedding as his is in July, so much expense and when did overseas stag & hen do’s become the norm? he’s just going down the pub with a few of his mates so old school.
There was also a visit to the V E T S for C dog, steroids now just every other day so all still going well.
We’ve been lucky enough to have a lot of sunshine, back door open for first time in months and sitting on the doorstep.
Washing dried on the line and smelling of outdoors.
My lovely man looking after me, he does a good cheese omelette ☺️

Morning all 😊
Get well wishes to all humans and pets in need 😊
We spent another night in our new home. Two of my best friends came for lunch yesterday, which was much enjoyed with a selection of nice food and fizz 🥂 to celebrate. It was a lovely sunny day and after lunch we finished our drinks on the south facing patio, them in the sun and me in the shade 🤣 I proudly showed off our new home and they thought it was beautiful. We love it more each time and can’t wait to move in full time (we have no wardrobes, drawers, sofas, internet and tv and still have our rental for another 9 weeks). We’re going back to the design shop today to hopefully finalise wardrobes and media wall. I had potted up some tete a tete daffodils for my friends which were well received.
So plans for today are to head back to rental place, then go for late breakfast and to design shop. Tomorrow OH is meeting up with his nephew to see his football team play Braintree, which is about an hour away. Then in the evening we are going to the local social club for a quiz night, will join our friends team. Sunday evening we’re going back to the local theatre to see a moody Blues tribute act and will stay at new home. A busy weekend for us, have a good one whatever you are doing 😊

Busy day! In and out…out and in!
Rubbish sleep so I’m glad I set an alarm for this morning.
Work this morning. Service for a lovely family.Quick home for an hour.
Then back out and into town. Got a parking space! Hurrah! ( not a free one though)
Then went and met DD2…she was actually just 3 cars in front of me at the traffic lights when I came out the car park!
Then home for an hour or so…and then need to get some semi glad rags on to go out for dinner. So I’m just relaxing with my doggy boy just now who’s probably going to be judgy and say hmmm off out again?
It has been such a lovely day here! Sun has been gently warm which has been so welcome.
