    Happy birthday Pauline

    For Wednesday

    1. New system in place at work - it has proved my point. It will need a few weeks to see if the pattern continues and then see if anything gets done.
    2. Saw a lovely patient who had recovered which is great.
    3. Left work slightly early- boss was away and would have objected. I started 10 minutes early and worked 10 minutes of my lunch but leaving 10 minutes early would mean taking time in lieu
    4. Met my sister on train on way to my Mums
    5. Birthday celebration at my Mum’s house with both my sisters. Had a lovely meal and cake and we all stayed the night.

    For yesterday

    1. Good train journey to walk.
    2. Managing the afternoon with a colleague so we could both get through it. It was chaotic to say the least.
    3. Managed to finish work on time which looked unlikely at times.
    4. Cooked a nice tea using up stuff.
    5. Enjoyed reading my book.

Thank you Happycas for the info about the gloves. They are fantastic and have really helped.

    For Friday

    1. Dog walk - stayed dry and it wasn’t too cold. Especially at this time of year going on walk once a week it changes so much and plants are growing and buds are forming.
    2. Chat with dogs owner always good to catch up.
    3. Met my mum - was for her Christmas present. All trains went ok and both arrived at station at same time.
    4. Good lunch - steak and chips on the lunch menu so cheaper.
    5. Went to theatre and enjoyed ourselves.
    6. Good trip home and heavens opened 5 minutes after I got home.

    For Saturday

    1. House is clean.
    2. Daffodils and hellebores picked from the garden cheering the place up.
    3. Listened to the rugby - pleased I wasn’t watching England play. At least I achieved something when match was on!
    4. Did some gardening and managed to weed fairly easily. It wasn’t too muddy. My friendly robin was supervising as usual.
    5. Watched the curling. Shame about the result. It will be another 4 years before I watch it again.
