Great photos PaulieH, living by the sea obviously suits you.
For yesterday,We had sunshine and plenty of it, really lifts the spirits.
Went out for breakfast with my Valentine.
Pottered around for the rest of the morning, making bread and finishing the jigsaw.
The horses had all gone out as it was dry and apparently mine raced around the paddock, throwing some shapes as she went! Must have felt lovely after the days spent in her stable. By the time I got there she was back in and munching on hay so gave her a good groom and we listened to a Sherlock Holmes story.
Listened to the 2nd half of the United game on way home and we won again.6 -
Morning all 😊
Yes it is Frinton, no sun ☀️ today though ☹️
The sea air does aid sleep, I’m still in bed and my watch says 5 hours 14 mins deep sleep, unheard of!
have a good Sunday everyone 😊6 -
another day another iPad not charged…but I’ve half charged it now!
Saturday Schmaturday. I usually catch up with DD2 in the morning but we couldn’t manage yesterday.
Anyway it was a very cold but bright start to the day. Had a lovely if -2o walk to local shop ( 15 minutes each way) and was rather disappointed to discover it’s no longer taking parcels…which will now necessitate a car drive in to town. Anyway walked there and back enjoying the blue sky and the bird song.
And a quiet day ensued. Finally finished a series I’ve been watching for weeks.
Popped out in afternoon to post parcel at supermarket and ended up spending money…but it was on something I had been after and was on special!
DD2 and The Chap popped in and I ended up with their valentines meal leftovers of very nice pizza! ( from the very nice pizzeria!)
And I had an early night and watched the very final episode of the series and it all had a happy ending and made me smile!
And I had gotten feedback from the service I’d written which was good. So that made me relax my shoulders a bit!
Today is another quiet day ( as far as I know) drizzly day but not quite as cold as yesterday. Got my energy bill this morning which seemed an odd day to get it…the reserves of built up cash are on the lower side, so popped an extra £50 in and hoping that plus my March payment should be enough and then hoping the heating isn’t needed quite so much by the end of this month. And we build the reserves again over the spring summer months. I still have a fair few fires worth of logs left if I need a bit of extra heat. But have got through the winter with just one big bag (tonne) of logs…but had also been gifted a few small bags by a neighbour back at the end of summer. One of the reasons I had wanted to downsize for was the cost of heating a large house for just one person ( and exorbitant council tax…don’t get me started! ) but I also don’t want to be cold.

For yesterday,
Early morning cuddles with C dog.
Bacon butties and catching up on all things Ambridge.
It snowed, huge flakes that had us worrying for a bit if our guests would arrive from Fenland.
They did and was lovely to see them, DSIL and her fella. We lingered over lunch and chatted away all afternoon.
Later and now in our PJS we watched and thoroughly enjoyed the first episode of Small Prophets, if like us you are a fan of the Detectorists can heartedly recommend.

Up early.
Out to CP for a lovely walk. It had been raining on the way down but then it brightened up and we had a lovely stretch of blue sky and sunshine.
Popped into work place on way back for a quick hello.
Home for a wee while and then had to go out to work this afternoon, and not long in.
The doggy accusingly telling me his dinner was late! Made up for it with a cuddle afterwards!
