Pleasures for yesterday1. Last shift worked this week now off till Tuesday.
2. Driving home and it was light by 7.30am
3. chocolate to get through the night shift
4. Application done for temporary role at work
5. Now in bed ready to catch up with sleep with little dog curled up next to me7 -
Watching Hanza and his animals is so infectious
Picked up a free national trust pass, if I can pick up a newspaper pass as well, we can take MIL out somewhere.
Not feeling too good so did spend the morning asleep, a pleasure to be able, I did wake up with 4 ferrets also asleep around on the bed.
An easy dinner further to the above of a Costco pizza slice from freezer to oven.
So much to de clutter, started small there is now carpet where it should be in the office, however there are piles of things to sort, so one thing at a time. I am slightly ashamed to say I found a summer dress I had forgotten about, it fits and looks good so I’m keeping it as effectively a new dress. However, the as new dresses I tried to sell I’m going to let go to a CS.
For TodayPhew, I’ve been trying to sort the final bits and bobs in closing accounts but have of course lost all online access as it’s shut. Que, paperwork.
We have a continual fox in the garden, no problems with one visiting, but this one seems to be getting iller and didn’t eat today, so we called out the fox project to help us, and they were here so promptly amazing volunteers, we’re hoping to hear about it soon as it still has life in it, and we’ve offered for it to be re released in the garden as it’s his stomping ground.
I’ve ordered in a takeaway.
Just trying to keep an eye on the various few day’s aways planned and when to book in camping.

Hello.Been a busy day of in and outs!Up early…then dozed off again and was only woken when DD2 was calling on her way to work! Waaah!Downstairs to start writing script number four of four! Set timer on my phone and then we went out for a walk at CP. Needed a bit of fresh air ( very fresh!) and some nature. Work gets a bit heavy at times so need to make sure I take breaks.Nice walk. Went to check where the snowdrops are. There are swathes of them and I feel quite special as the normal caravan folk aren’t here at this time of year so don’t know about them!Popped into caravan with a couple of new dehumidifier boxes. But just a quick in and out…but it holds the promise of time to come soon enough! ( start of March)
And then over to town supermarket to drop off a Vinted parcel and top up with petrol ( yet again…feel I’m always feeding this car!) and then onwards to pick up The Pup and bring him over to mine and then we went to local shop to drop off another parcel…sigh! And then I ran into supermarket to get a gammon joint for dinner as they were on special offer.
And home! And straight back to work. Finished writing the service. Called tomorrow’s family to check in with them. Did my invoices. And then call to read through service number four as they didn’t have email. So that’s been four nice services written and all are happy with them so that makes me happy.Chat to sister.Dinner on…gammon joint…last of the 15p potatoes, a carrot and parsnip from a 15p bag and broccoli and cauliflower and peas! And what a very nice tea it was with a dod of cranberry sauce!DD2 here for tea and her dog. Chatted as she drove home.Need to go and get my tomorrow stuff all ready. Polish my boots! Pack my bag. Look out my big coat…currently raining so will see what the weathers like in the morning.Got a charity bag through the letterbox this morning…and I had a little pile waiting for a bag! So that’s been filled and sitting out in the porch for Friday.Looking forward to Traitors…if I stay awake watching 😆 I’m terrible for falling asleep watching things!8 -

Forgot to post last night
yesterday was quite a good day ,
went to a meeting in the afternoon and the speaker was dire .My friend and I were reduced to counting the “ you knows “ the ”literally’s” and the ‘I won’t lie to you’s” !
it was about an 81 day backpacking trip to Thailand and Cambodia ,no maps ,slides or any illustrations at all .!Could’ve been so interesting
never mind
I know I sound harsh ,but she was also v patronising about the local population .
anyway ,bit of shopping and I also ate more healthily again
sty safe all8 -
For yesterday,
Some wintry sunshine.
I didn’t feel so good first thing so a quiet morning, finished the first of the E Wharton books.
Time spent with my horse, she has a new neighbour and seems rather taken with him! Got through the seemingly never ending task of washing and then towelling down legs and then settled her in for the night.
Lovely photos from family over in Australia.
Last of the festive chocolate, we didn’t buy much so have been rationing a little a day.

Morning all.
Warmer here today, no frost and very still and calm.
Some pleasures:
1) Feeling a lot better.
2) Went to the shopping centre for the first time since Christmas, more for a browse than anything. It was very busy but fortuntely most of the sales leftovers had gone and new stock was appearing. Picked up cards and a couple of presents for imminent birthdays and stocked up on fresh fruit, salad and vegetables so no excuses now. Oh, I forgot, we did treat ourselves to a cream cake to go with a cuppa when we got home - oops!
3) Can't settle to novel reading but am enjoying my current book - 'Less' by Patrick Grant, very thought provoking and he is a very interesting chap. (S/Sue - some very interesting facts about the silk industry in Sudbury).
4) Going to see Hamnet this afternoon, looking forward to it.
5) Enjoying the quietness of January and the days are noticeably lengthening out. Little bits of Spring are springing too. Snowdrops are my favourite flowers.
Home alone this morning so time for a coffee and then a bit of pottering and poodling, happy to be getting back on my feet and putting my little nest in order.
Happy Thursday, whatever you are up to.

Hello.
Atrocious sleep and I had to set an alarm so was a bit rubbish when it went off.Worky work. Held the first of four services this morning. It was so cold!Home for a quick change ( cemetery was muddy after a night of heavy rain) and then went to meet friend. Had a good catch up.
Supermarket on way back. And home again. Log burner on. Quick chat to sister. More work prep for coming services. And friend came round which was nice so sat in front of fire and had a good catch up!Toast and pate for tea which was nice.It had brightened into a pretty day but oh so cold all day!8 -
After a dreadful, literally awake all night, we decided to give a miss to the garden centre, almost as if they were listening in they sent us some relevant vouchers rather handily
Remembered to phone to order the ferret repeat meds.
Also on a ferret note, after nearly 3 weeks of another stray turning up to us over Christmas, as of today he’s now ours, we’ve called him donut.
Finally caved to ordering a pair of boots reduced to 29, so I’ll try them, showing my age thou it would be nice to go to a shop and try them, but that’s not possible.
We've had an update from the Fox Project to let us know Mr Plod is improving, and already able to walk a bit steadier, they think he was literally exhausted. He's making good progress and will hopefully be back in a few days. Which is just as well as his friend is camping out waiting for him...
