goodness I haven't played crazy golf for years dfv bloomin' dog needed a wee at 3am and I could not get back to sleep for a couple of hours. then woke at 7 and thought what the heck i'll get up which meant
    1) early saturday bath and trotted down to the butcher's - 3 steak rounds, 3 pounds of port sausages and some rather nice looking pork, cranberry and apple stuffing. As an Englander living in Scottieland I do not think anyone does such a fab steak pie as the scottish butchers and getting in early meant there were plenty  so that's pleasure 1
    2) went to the library to work on my keynote - mse pleasure #2 is our public libraries - long may they prosper
    3) then hair cut - had a lovely chat with the young lady next to me - she's in another School at the Uni and loves her job as do I so pleasure #3 is indeed having a job I love (just as well as at 1:30 did an invited online talk on AI to 150 medical students in India) i took some incense packs from Thailand for the hairdressers and they lit one - it smelled super
    4) mse pleasure #4 is being able to have an afternoon nap - bliss
    5) have also managed through the day to clean the house, get my washing dry, beds remade, bathrooms polished - mse pleasure #5 is having a clean and tidy house.
now watching the 1962/3 big freeze - mum was pregnant with me in a house with no electricity and an outside loo - the bag door froze and she had to go out the front door and round to the back lane to get into the back garden.

    1. Huge catch-up read now caught up😁, thanks to happy parking for signal.
    2. Bitterly cold day, but Doblo warmed & well en route to support our 3rd XV.  Saffron Walden Rugby Club is not at Saffron Walden, but quite some miles further along tricky roads past NT Audley End, then near Bishops Stortford.  Oh yes, 20-3 in our favour!🏉😁👍
    3. Love my hot water bottles.
    4. Another pair of the knitty slippers finished in time for Christmas.  Darning in ends etc. will probably take as long.😁
    5. Lugging lots back to &squat late on Thursday, paused to rejig bags. Picked up a chucked down crisp pkt, only to see it was a £10 note!  Or so & thought.  Yesterday saw it's £20!
    6. Picked and ate last 6 raspberries on way out today.😋

So clever Frith👌 - your tomato paste tube decorations are truly amazing! 🌟🌟🌟
& also chose Bonne Maman jam, cherry 😋 as her Little Treat freebie from the emporium. It's a happy scheme.👏😊👍
