Blast! Discovery - one earring lost, possibly in emporium, details left.
Meantime -
1. Lovely finds on charity bookshelf today - 1985 Wisden, 2 Persephone titles: Sally Carson's 'Crooked Cross' and Jocelyn Playfair's 'A House in the Country', plus 2 little Alison Uttley 1st Edns, 1958+1960, slightly crayoned covers😁 that & can sort.2. Young Remembrance Service children in good numbers held the 2 minutes' silence impeccably and laid their wreaths with words understood. &'s RNZAF pilot, killed over Thetford on 'secret prototype' flight, fully spoken of.
2. Little 1st birthday boy a very happy chappy on Saturday arvo, loved his bits and bobs all in lucky Nexus find Big Shark Cuddle Sac! A couple of Mummy and Daddy bits had found their way in too 😁
4. All Blacks didn't start playing properly until & arrived in the Alma, or so many said....late arriving from osp3, accepted as fair excuse.& arrived, put DMac on from bench and sorted everything out. 25-17, with merlot and onion rings, bien sûr.😁
....and osp 5 can be refuelling today, moments before price went up another 3p per litre! That's twice in the last fortnight!#
Likely nowhere day tomorrow. Sudden lurgy piling in since mid-afternoon. Voice now gone, weary achey weary since hairwash and hand laundry done this morning, pegged out and certainly much rained on in &'s absence.
Agreed Lainey, first stars last night and &'s first fireworks seen too, distantly, towards Huntingdon. & loves them.
Good train news Frith.
Oh, &'s fig tree after usual sudden leaves down. Loads still left, including high up ripe chaps missed by &-
Needing hwb, bed, tabs+books. Stop whingeing &.All blessings, 🙏

Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Went to art class. Not displeased with my work today.
3) A lady at art, who I presumed had always been married to her husband, suddenly told me about the moonlight flit they did, 50 years ago!
4) Survived another shift at work. The manager forgot to ask anyone to cover 2 shifts last week. Took me an hour to clean up. He did, however, say yes to my request to donate some food to the homeless day centre. (They gave our department tons of this new line of food, but forgot we have no way of heating it...)
5) Smaller son quite jolly today.
6) About to eat curry, made yesterday.
7) Just snapped the handle off my perfect, 1950s glazed Milk jug so I'll just have to do all the charity shops for a replacement.6 -

Painting is very well done. Agree with ampersand that you should frame it.4

Hope you feel better soon Amps
For yesterday,
Usual trip into horsey town for a food shop and coffee with pal.
Submitted our electricity meter reading which was gulp after using electric heaters while boiler out of action, pleasure was we had built up a decent credit balance.
Over to the yard as farrier coming for equine girlie, the rain then started and boy was it heavy so the first thing he did when he got to me was cancel his next visit which was due to take place out in a field! My girl was back to her usually well behaved self although a pocket full of treats helped.
Splashed home and was pleased to back indoors with a warming cup of tea.
Easy tea of baked spuds with some of the cold meat from the roast, then quiz night and I continued with my normal run of getting the first question on UC right.4
