Hi all, have been enjoying reading your pleasures.

    Monday’s pleasures

    1. Up, washed & dressed by 08:45 - this is early for me:rotfl: waiting for cs pick up. (Bah, humbug cs never turned up :( )

    2. All the snow gone but still very cold

    3. A Love Food, Hate Waste lunch - DH had lo mash & vegs fried up with two fried eggs, I had lo hm soup with a finger roll from freezer - feeling very virtuous

    4. DSis phoned from France - she has an exchange date & completion date finally - it has only taken 8 years to sell up:rotfl:

    5. The pleasure of seeing the finished product - after the non-pleasure of scrubbing clean one of the glass fronted areas of the wall unit incl the glass & sorting & washing the glasses. Sparkling glass & crystal glasses is one of my all time favourite pleasures:rotfl: & I have two dozen glasses for cs:)

    6. Cheesey beans on toast for dinner

    Tuesday’spleasures

    1. Good night’s sleep

    2. DH’s Harley Davidson passed its M.O.T. & he got lunch while he was out :)

    3. Quite a bit warmer today & dry :)

    4. The pleasure of seeing the finished product - after the non-pleasure of scrubbing clean the second of the glass fronted areas of the wall unit incl the glass & sorting & washing the glasses. Sparkling glass & crystal glasses is one of my all time favourite pleasures:rotfl:

    5. After several phone calls the cs finally picked up the 5 foot tall glass fronted unit - yah hay - more space:)

    6. Hm chicken & mushroom pie, mash & roasted frozen veg for dinner - yummy

    7. Nice phone call from DB in Germany :) cheeky devil wanted to know if I had started knitting the scarves he requested:grin:

    8. Watching the last episode of Shetland (I cried at the end - spoiler alert - poor Tommy) & finding out that their will be another series next year !

    9. The anticipation of using my new toy tomorrow - a V*x :)

    Nighty night

    1. Slept fairly well. This is rare for me.

    2. Work busy for me. Others not quite so busy. Did talk to someone in another department properly for the first time and appreciated her sense of humour.

    3. Phoned my parents. They had an enjoyable time on their 3 month trip away which they do every year. Managed to do some tidying and Decluttered bits while on the phone to them.

    4. Went for a drink at the pub. It's a local microbrewery and DH likes the beer and they have a local cider which I enjoy.

    5. DS2 had cooked a beef pie and made the oastry. He normally buys puff pastry for it but made short crust for this oie.

    Tuesday pleasures,

Driving over to the stables and a buzzard sitting on a fence post beside the road, stunning bird.

Pony standing still as a rock as a huge jet from the nearby airbase flew over, very low.

Out in the garden tidying up and heard the skylarks for first time this spring, tiny speck in the sky up, over the field.

    Fish pie for tea.

Last episode of Shetland, sad as you say MrsSD.

Extra, reading in bed, now on ‘ Howard’s End is on the Landing’ which is making me realise how woefully short my reading list would be, so many books, such little time.

    1. Managed to skim £450 off the budget and make another payment to the mortgage which brings us to nearly 2k this month. Next month we should get down to a figure beginning with 1!!
    2. DD is 10 today, and is so proud of hitting 'double digits'!
    3. CrossFit tonight. To be honest, I can't be bothered. Am feeling low at the moment but I know it's good for me and should perk me up.
    4. Coaching at work today, for free. My job has great perks sometimes!
    5. Free coffee at work, and lovely homemade roasted garlic and butternut soup for lunch.

Good morning from the big diesel train to Marylebone - a lovely train to work on and goes straight to the university, almost.

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. Glorious early morning walk in the sunshine with a bright blue sky. We walked all along the sea front
    2. Saw my first lambs of the year
    3. Good trains back - got lots done
    4. Veg curry for tea - Meat free tuesday
    5. Went shopping when I got home so we have food in once more - not really a pleasure, except that it's done.

My first pleasure of today is casting aside my big winter coat that i am sick of the sight of, in favour of my lovely green leather jacket
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • Ah, BoP used to catch the slam door train from Marylebone! And Baker Street as well!

5 Another day to sit on the fence and wait? Watched another film last night on net of fliks thing. Click! BoP pored a wobbleade and gave Raffles a treat. I am just lining him up for his special treats this weekend of Flea and Worm jellies! Other treatments are available!

4 Packed me own lunch box again this morning, and it is well packed today. As the cakes of Jaffa are mixed up about the packet size, and they’re cheap inn the emporium, we have four of them today! Also salad, cheese, with proper crusted cheese today made on the farm up from where BoP comes from, Lincolnshire Poacher! Please do not eat this cheese if you are female as it is bad for you!

3 On about packing a lunch, as yous nose that BoP is heading to the smoke on easter Saturday for the #RAF100 at the RAH. He is thinking of not paying excessive prices in the smoke for food and is packing a couple of decent tarts and sausage rolls instead! We is staying over, and they have a kind of breakfast inn the place, which obviously is nowhere as good as a BoP breakfast, we will fill our boots. In fact BoP is a tad excited and …

2 Night BoP is out and about with his beached ready body. Now getting inn trim for May bank holiday! As for getting inn shape, BoP this weekend will be getting treaders ready for riding. You can feel now BoP as he pumps up the action!

    Another dollop of BoPiness tomorrow!
  • 1) A most fabulous spring day out there today, hot and cold running sunshine and wall to wall blue sky, 'licious!

    2) Dental check up, no problems and a tiny descale on half a dozen toothie pegs, what's not to like?

    3) YS bargains from Mr.T's vege bit, spinach, coriander leaves, stringless beans and some absolutely humungous spring onions.

    4) Saw long tailed tits in the trees on the chicken track when I walked cookie, they sound like tiny violins and call to each other constantly.

    5) A grass verge covered in beautiful blue flowers, not daisies but some kind of bulb and they'd colonised all the available space and climbed up into the top of the garden wall and were flowering there too, I don't know what they are but they made me happy!

Much wet here! Rainy! Rainy! However it was bright when I walked first thing with Mr Dog.

Went new kitchen looking. Went to expensive place which will be totally out of budget but shall use them for ideas and then economise! Then went to another one that architect recommended and my friend had a kitchen dine about 9 years ago and still looks fab. More in my price range.

Went to P Hut for lunch with DD2 , her shout.

Had a couple of nice texts from friends who've been thinking of me. I'm struggling a bit just now.

Got a few eastery items at TK Max that were RTC. So my front door has a nice wreath on it.

Went into T where were parked ( after lugging loads of brochures round and dumping them in boot) made appointments for opticians there tomorrow . Got some lovely RTC flowers and asked a chap if they would be RTC'd any more and he did! Nice man. Met a couple of people I knew and had chats with them.

    Dealt with some mail/emails.

Don't need tea as had big lunch ( much salad )

    Pleasures for today (Wednesday).

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Sausage sandwiches for breakfast.

    3) Hens OK.

    4) A day of archaeology for me. Out on site next week (brrr!)

    5) Smaller son had a half decent day at school. Bigger son has hurt his hip from doing too much skateboarding.

    6) Tasty tea of pork, roast pots and sweet pots, carrots, stuffing and gravy.

    7) Just watched the GBBO SU2C special.
  • Late again :o

    Wednesday’s pleasures

    1. Dry day again but not very sunny.

    2. DSis phoned from France - received all 3 parcels posted on Friday:j

    3. DH did a tip run - no rubbish left in the garage now.

    4. DH chopped down two dwarf fir trees which were looking decidedly ugly :( & chopped up old broken bird feeder stand - another tip trip tomorrow :rotfl:

    5. Finished lo puff pastry & made a pizza using ‘bits & pieces’ - my best one yet :j not bragging but it was delicious

    Have a good night everyone
