For yesterday,
We have blackbirds nesting in the hedge and all day they are out in the garden, pulling up worms and sorting through the moss for bedding.
Biked down to the village to pick up a few bits from the shop as had visitor coming for lunch.
My DB arrived and we had a lovely few hours nattering away, I made a frittata and we had that with salad.Over to see my own unicorn, her back window faces out to the school and she was fascinated by another grey being put through his paces, perhaps she has a crush.
The evenings are really stretching out and we didn’t close the curtains until after tea.6 -

Evening all 😊
The week is flying by as usual!
OH went to his team’s community day on Saturday and had a good time and his team won. I had a nice peaceful day pottering around the house and watching tv.
Monday was shopping day.
Tuesday was swimming (50 lengths, best ever!) and my friend came again.
Wednesday it was “Ladies What Lunch” at a local Turkish restaurant, very nice.
Today it was another trip to the coast and 4 more bungalows viewed. My sister came with us and as it was lovely and sunny we ate fish and chips overlooking the sea ☀️
Watched the Apprentice, is it just me who squirms at some of the scenes?🤣
A few more items sold on Vinted.
Tired and in bed now on here.
Night all 💤5 -
Hope you are feeling better today Mhags
For yesterday,
Dropped heavier turnout and stable rugs out for cleaning & repair.
A parcel came with a couple of ordered items from WOB, gratefully added to the to be read pile.
To the yard and met my friend there, it was a sunny afternoon and she sat on the mounting block while I worked girlie in the school. She admired the posh barn but commented that facilities aren’t as good as our previous home, we were very lucky there.
Another friend is in Rome for her birthday and posted a video of her and partner getting engaged.
Capt S out to meeting so made a big dish of leek & macaroni cheese and like a Bisto kid he was home just as it came out of the oven.5 -
Pleasures for today (Friday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Smaller son has finished week 2 of his course and his second assignment. He also had to find a job vacancy and write then adapt a CV for that job.
3) I went to the coffee morning and talked mainly to our local councillor about football.
4) Had a quick tidy up when I got back.
5) Smaller son saw a possible apprenticeship vacancy and might apply towards the end of the deadline (so his course will nearly be finished).
6) Went to work, which was ok.
ETA 7) Smaller son's beer has calmed down a bit and he is impressed with it.

For yesterday,
Beloved had the day off so a trip into Uni City as we both needed a few bits, new work tops and slippers for him, undies and slippers for me.
Neither of us have a high tolerance for looking around the shops so good it was all done in a couple of hours.
Walk around the city and then the treat of lunch out at a posh brassiere for which we had a voucher, very nice and I had a Baked Alaska for afters which was delicious.
Did get over to see my girl but just a groom and cuddles.Cheese and wine & watching some silly tv.
Wishing our Mhags a very Happy Birthday 🥳 x6
