For yesterday,
Doing my chores and listening to M Robbins podcast about the attention economy, immediately set limits on my devices as well aware that I can waste time on them.
Dropped a couple of saddle pads into horsey town equine launderette, pleased to learn they still do repairs so ripped stable rug left too.
Fun in the sun with the beautiful grey one, a bit of work in the lunge pen then a walk around the farm.
Pork roast for tea.
Watched an Only Connect and actually got a few questions right 🎉 followed by an early night reading my latest book.

Hello! Not sure why I didn’t post last night but here goes for Wednesday!Probably wasn’t that much to tell 😆 it absolutely lashed with rain. So plans were changed. Walked dog in the afternoon and two big herons flew just above us.And today up early and a beautiful sunrise. It’s been a spring like day!Got houseworky stuff done and washing out.Went to other end of town ( sighs I hate these huge big shops) to get some stick on faux tiles for the backsplash in caravan. So spent about an hour with my head at a funny angle trying to get them just so! And of course I need another pack. So will have to go back again tomorrow. But at least I know what row they are in! And in and out job! Instead of a pacing up and down job!Nice doggy walks. A very gentle warmth in the air blue sky. Birds being busy. Daffodils popping up.Even had windows open…months of being too cold and then oooh let’s get these windows open. And home.Hoovered car and put car blankets in for a wash. They got a blow on the line for an hour.Missed a call for work. So called back and got that booked in.Dog was sick ( I’m assuming mine and not the pup) so he had chicken and rice for tea. Thankfully had chicken in the freezer. Made enough for tomorrow…I’d started writing this and then The Chap turned up to collect him and then it turns out it was the pup! Who had been caught eating sticks on his walk. Anyway chicken and rice it is Hag!My energy provider usually takes monthly payments ( as in bills me monthly) but hadn’t for the last 3 months so I queried that today as all the direct debits had accrued but nothing had been taken out. Anyway all sorted and I’m still in credit as we approach spring and hopefully less heating being used.7

Pleasures for today (Thursday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Went to Sainsbury's cafe to read my book for a while. Got cat food and cat milk.
3) Made ham and cheese toasties for lunch with HM coleslaw. And kiwi fruit.
4) Smaller son and I set his first batch of beer going. 40 pints!
5) Smaller son then wanted to go to a cafe so we went to M and S for pots of tea.
6) I did another chicken tray bake for tea with a hm lemon sauce and noodles. Then I made an almond cake to use up some pears.

I could do with pleasures today.
1 We popped to the local homebase and picked up 4 decorative concrete slab stones with birds and squirrels on for pennies, and dh picked up some hardware for 90 percent off he’s happy.
2 I popped into Aldi for one thing and failed but wasn’t trying hard not to fail, I picked up a couple of packs of pork chops 75 percent off, got them home, made a marinade for them all and portioned them up.
3 Cooking up some sausages for dinner with cabbage, yorkies and gravy, called it a deconstructed toad in the hole.
4 Applied for some roles.
5 The most amazingly yellow flutter by in the garden and bumbles, it feels like spring.

Pleasures for Wednesday and Thursday:
Walk in local gardens with friend in the sunshine ☀️ still snowdrops about and lots of daffodils 🌼
Sat outside for soup and because it was so sunny 🌞 stayed for tea and cake 😋
Came home and admired my own snowdrops and tete a tete in the tub by the front door.
Yesterday OH and I went to look at bungalows and made the most of the sunshine with fish and chips overlooking the sea at Frinton. A lovely day and we saw some bungalows we really liked.
Have a Good Friday everyone 😊6 -
For yesterday,
A bunch of scented narcissi, so cheery in the house.
It was sunny and warm enough to have the back door open for a while, more washing dried on the line.
An afternoon spent at the yard, sorted out my big box and put bits aside for either disposal or sale, too much stuff kept for Justin! Tidied up my girl’s mane & tail.
Getting a call from vet to say that her strangles test proved negative, much relief as 20% chance of false positive which would mean another far more invasive & expensive procedure. Now all go for the big move next week.
Reading, lots of reading.7 -
