Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Back on the blood sugar diet! Had 2 weeks off but am still one stone lighter than I was 2 months ago. Had an omelette for lunch then goulash for dinner.
3) Took some stuff to the charity shops and bought a Seasalt long sleeved t shirt for £4.
4) Met my sister in the supermarket cafe and we had a cup of tea and a chat. Also gave her some boots that were too big for me.
5) Remembered to recycle my batteries.
6) Worked from 4-8 which went OK. Had time to have a proper clean up at the end.
7) Changed my bed and did the washing. House is quite tidy.
8) Played a few games of chess online.6 -
For yesterday,
Started the day by using my journal, had got out of the habit but determined to start it up again.
Horsey town for a quick food shop and a coffee with my friend.
Over at the yard, worked my girl in the lunge pen and then tidied up her legs & heels, mud season is here and don’t want any nasties causing an infection.
Tasty tea, meatballs in tom & courgette sauce with gnocchi.
Quiz night and I managed to answer quite a few on UC, luck of the draw I guess.

1 Meal planning still.
2 We popped out to Aldee, for the first time in 2 weeks.
3 Kiev and rana pasta with greenery chopped in is tonight’s tea.
4 Cleared out a craft/card/wrapping drawer, which was easier than I thought, and I had a lot of very happy 4 paw helpers and used cartons we already had to organise cards/tags etc rather than needing new.
5 Left deep conditioners in my hair for about 4 hours, a bit of tlc.
6 Three wash loads on the line and remembering to bring them in again as dense fog forecasted for tomorrow.

Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Walked into town, listening to a podcast on the way.
3) Went to college as no one has answered the phone at their hairdressing salon for a week. Had a chat with smaller son's friend who works on reception, about the football and that he is trying to buy a flat.
4) Went in the hairdressing salon and no pupil will be ready to cut hair until November. It was all in darkness with one lecturer (who has been there for the 15 years I have had my hair cut there). We had a chat and I said I was trying to grow my formerly very short hair into a bob and the back grows faster than anything else, into two silly triangles. Well, I am sworn to secrecy but she whisked me through and just cut the back for me!
5) Walked home again and spent ages cleaning the garage where the cat had had some toileting accidents.
6) Got the new electric sander out again and sanded the doorframe plus side of the bathroom door so we won't have to shout for someone to kick it open from the outside any longer.
7) Mowed one lawn, though it was too wet. I had been waiting nearly a month for a dry day.
8) Went to the football (a draw) and watched the hospitality suite get evacuated and a fire engine park outside! Evryone went back in after 10 minutes.
9) Sainsburys just delivered an order, about 6 minutes after we returned home.

Morning! Still so dark this morning at 7.10am but the lodgers are taking my doggy a walk with theirs so I was told to go back to bed!Anyway for Tuesday: ( and this is why I should do it on the day or I forget 😆)
Up and out with my doggy.Went to supermarket to get a couple of small pumpkins and a bunch of RTC roses and came home and raided the garden for herbs and trailing leaves and did some floral frippery with a hollowed out pumpkin filled with flowers.Dropped one in at old work with a bag of tablet for them ( because I’m nice like that!)
Went over to DD2 house in the afternoon to wait on different chaps coming, it was cold and damp. With no water ( for flushing loo) or electricity ( for charging our phones!) the chaps were all nice but Ooft what a mess !Back home via chippy …hello doggies , I know we’ve been ages.
Then a couple of hours later…bed! And I appear to have slept right through!7 -
For yesterday,
Woken up early hours by small dog who had, very bizarrely for her, messed in her bed. So bedding changes and clearing up had to be done. She looked so sad and embarrassed my heart went out to her, getting old sucks!
