1 I returned 2 items via the post office for refunds.
2 Took Hershey for a check-up with the vet nurse to check her neuter wound and had a lovely chat about ferret husbandry.
3 Pizza slice for lunch, hm burger and chips for tea.
4 We popped to the cheap shops and enjoyed the bluebells around, picked up some bits and bobs we needed and did the ald1 shop with a couple of 50 percents off for ham and corned beef.
5 I’ve had to take the lid off the seeds as they are growing so fast now, and the gardeners world magazine with the seeds and 2-4-1 offer arrived today.

Hello again and, seriously, can it rain much more??
mhagster - please, please can I come and pack for you? Love a packing up and a house move, pastures new and all that......
Recent pleasures:
1) Thanksfully the allergy test things were taken off my back this morning. oh, the relief! Back on Saturday to have my back looked at again and then, finally, I can have a shower and wash my hair.
2) Hubby has been hobbling and in massive pain, now diagnosed with sciatica - not good but the pain relief is strong and starting to work.
3) Some holiday clothes shopping done, not a fan of clothes shopping but we got what we needed which is a pleasure and a relief.
4) Son dropped us at the hospital and picked us up afterwards. Car parking there is horrendous, we normally walk the 15 minute walk there but that and the return journey would have been too much for hubby to hobble.
5) We too are 'eating the freezer' before we go away so some very interesting and tasty but never-to-be-repeated concoctions.
Right, tea is ready, catch you later.

4) mum found a hardback book on The Great of Scotland for £2 in the CS (she was actually looking for a children's atlas) - it's beautiful

Pleasures for today (Thursday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) A bonus day off work today. There has been some problem with Royal Mail so the postal votes have not returned as expected so nothing for me to process today. Should be working tomorrow, as far as I know.
3) Pottered around first thing. Yet another letter arrived for MrU so I redirected it and wrote on the back of the envelope that this will be the last letter I direct and anymore I shall return to sender.
4) Smaller son and I went to Ikea so he could have some drawers to replace the fitted wardrobe we removed last month. It took me 2 hours this evening just to put the drawers together! He will do the chest part tomorrow.
5) Walked into town after Ikea and had a pot of tea and a banana in M and S.
6) Ikea pizza for tea with hm wedges.
7) Sainsburys order has just been delivered.

For yesterday,
Into horsey town for a food shop and a coffee with my friend.
A morning visit over to see pony, wandered out to her field with a bucket containing medication, carrot, apple, polos and a brush to get the worst of the mud off. We then had a forage in the hedge, she carefully nibbled at certain small, green leaves and happily accepted the cleavers & dandelion leaves her Mum found. It was a lovely way to spend time with her.
Home and lunch with Capt S, our cold has taken much of appetite away but had some soup.
Out again, this time for small dog’s hydrotherapy, read my book until my little girl came back out.
Another early night, dosed up and whiffing of Vicks, oh the glamour 🤣

Hello.Woke up exceptionally early this morning so went a very quick walk with doggy then got showered and ready for out. We were on the beach for 6am. Lots of clouds but they had the sunrise reflected on them. It was just us and truly beautiful. Imagine doing this every morning! Soon!Dog saw them first but two swans were swimming in the shallows! Wow! Put him back on his lead as didn’t want him disturbing them or them attack him. So we moved on and they swam on!Then a beautiful cloud filled with a rainbow! Wow!Went for petrol then home the slightly longer way so I could stalk my new house 😆 just drove by and said hello to it!And back to a bit of packing! Sigh!Hung out washing. Was dry then the blooming rain started to had to run out and get it then sun came back out anyway.Dropped a pile of stuff off at charity shop. Begone!Home. Pup dropped off. And we all had a late afternoon doze with the sun shining through the big window!Back to packing! Have done my daily quota!DD2 had picked up pup and dropped off a rhubarb danish pastry.Mail I’ve been waiting for for two weeks arrived. Hurrah!9

Oooo, new house, MHags!
Pleasures for today (Friday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Somehow got to work with about 40 seconds to spare, even though it didn't start until 9.40! Only 2 hours of work today.
3) Dropped something off at a friend's house on my way home which had been driven round and round in my car for weeks.
4) Made a cooked breakfast for lunch.
5) Went to the Sports Centre (there is a free sports session every Friday for residents in my impoverished post code). Started well, with a gruelling half an hour of badminton against a triathlete. Unfortunately, one of the organisers then sat along the bench from me at the side of the hall and asked me about MrU, and then another question and (because she was sitting by me so not looking at me) further questions, without realising that I was crying... I had to stand up, walk out briskly and drive home.
6) Then I started to put together the chest part of an Ikea chest of drawers (did the drawers yesterday) and boxed myself in my own room so didn't see the lady from the sports centre or her colleague phoning me constantly, in a panic. Also, (trapped in my back bedroom) didn't hear one of them pull up on my drive and knock the door...The chest of drawers is a triumph so now smaller son has put away all his clothes that had been lying on his floor since we took the fitted wardrobe out.
7) Just saw a fox just millimetres from the patio door, eating the cat food. I think not the normal blonde one but a sleeker one with red hair. (There have been 2 in the garden before).
8) Watching Gardeners World now.8 -
1 A cheeky grilled bacon sarnie for brekkie.
2 I hoovered the house again due to excessive moulting.
3 We popped out to support a new take away opening, cough, or more over check it out and hope it offers delivery soon and it sent around an opening voucher which was used.
4 Did a little tidying which now to be honest needs to be take it all out again and re do it to make it maintainable.
5 Tried the lemon meringue nibbles from b and m and suddenly finished the packet between us.

1) coffee with colleague - very good catch-up and plans hatched
2) called into enquiry centre to thank them for patching me up when i fell - the very nice lady who patched me up was there and was very glad for the update - she'd been worrying about me (i was feeling very sorry for myself when i saw here last time)
3) caught the number 6 up to the hospital - had been curious about its route - it certainly goes 'the scenic route'! lovely sunny day
4) friend picked me up from work and we went to hers for supper and ceilidh music, joined 3 friends (so keyboard, accordion, flute and 2 fiddles)
5) and now i'm home catching up on the archers then i'll listen to the very last Now Show, soon to be the Then ShowMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

For yesterday,
Not much of anything happened as felt rough with my cold but grateful for,
Hot honey & lemon drinks
The company of small dog as I lay on the sofa reading my book, the only thing that shifts her is the sound of the treat packet being taken out of the cupboard!
My friend said she would give pony her meds so no need to drive over to the stables.
Capt S finished at midday and we watched a couple of episodes of The Twelve.
The skies cleared late afternoon and we had a gentle meander around the field.7
