Morning all.
DD / Lainey - am also considering that 60 is the new 40.
Pleasures for Sunday
1. OH was singing at the Cathedral in the morning so indulged in a bath. Watched a couple of episodes of 'Scandal' (just so that Mhags doesn't feel alone in trashy tv watching 🤣
2. Diet going well so far. we don't feel too deprived and have already dropped a few pounds
3. football - a great match, wrong result
4. venison fillet for tea. Was nice.
5. watched the final Trigger Point. I'll say nothing about it....
And yesterday
1. work will keep coming around - but only about 8 more sessions to go and the students who turn up are great (it's those who don't who are the problem).
2. a trip to tescos as a 'treat' (usually it's Aldi). Got a few bits that can't be bought from aldi but on the whole, i'll stick with what i know.
3. cooked a turkey bolognaise for tea - tasted nicer than it looked. But i'm not a fan of bolognaise at the best of times. The pleasure is it was free from 'Syns' (i call them 'points' as i hate the idea of something being sinful, even though i know that isn't what it stands for) and was filling.
4. went to the pictures with DD - "All of Us Strangers". Was beautifully done but a bit weird and i'm not sure i understood it really.
5. came back and watched Call the Midwife.
Have a good day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens8 -
Back in to MrT to try and sort connectivity. ..again, as usual, sigh.....
Pouring all day and just arrived at Trumpington emporium. Post-training munch to serve later.

Prepped these osps in WhatsApp yesterday for posting when possible:That's now,🤗are last:1. A stunning crescent moon, light/white/bright outside Town of Horse emporium c.1830h, then an orange rind sliver on return, not an hour later.
2. An oh dear! Monday afternoon moment on R5:
'The old avoid retirement housing and who can blame them? They're dead right'.....
3. As lead-in to Lent, viewing 'The Theory of Everything' at fellow parishioner's. First viewing for &, with parallel memories evoked of &'s allocated place as funeral procession passed through Town of Gown, also of his insistence on wearing LP rosette in election pic. with Daniel Zeichner, Labour, still MP.
4. New Delhi pics from CanSupport, taken on their Walk for Life last week - &'s daughter's life's work is there.5. Shrove Tuesday pancake mixture ready, sitting overnight. Not sure whose insistence this first was, but always known by & wherever in t'world she's been.
Made this morning, 2 left, with newly gifted limoncello.😋 Look burnt, but aren't 😁👌#Definitely not an osp, but.....hearing the maniacally dangerous, yet laughable stupidity of trumpanzee, a deliberate serial bankrupt, telling members of NATO 'to pay what they owe, or bullets from Russia.'CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Hello. Just about to load the dishwasher and then fill my hot water bottles! Beds a calling!Early schmearly.
Went to castle. Had my last bacon roll from my voucher. Six rolls meant more to me than an afternoon tea!We had a lovely walk.Popped into supermarket on way back.Home briefly, hung out a washing, it’s been a lovely day.
Then hairdressers. That moment when you’re sat in front of the mirror straight after getting your hair washed! Waaah! Then the magic is worked! Used my Christmas voucher from DD2
Popped in to see mums NDN
Home and hello dog. It really wasn’t that long!Phoned sister back as she’d called when I was out.Tuesday tea was crepes filled with Cajun chicken ( which if I do say so myself was delicious!) RTC salad & RTC Cajun onion rings. And pudding was peach crumble and RTC custard. Very yummy. Very stuffed…and lent starts tomorrow.
Usual laughter and chatter. And sad to hear about Steve Wright…soundtrack to much of my grown up life.9 -
Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) Not a bad sleep. 6th attempt at dealing with scabies overnight...
2) Did the associated 7 tonnes of washing the accompanies every treatment.
3) M and S cafe with MrU.
4) Lidl for shopping including free bread thanks to the app.
5) MrU went for a bike ride. The football smaller son and I were going to watch in Birmingham was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.
6) I had some flowers for Valentine's Day. 😮
7) 3 games of chess. I won 1...9 -

Drat. Just chasing MrU round the downstairs of the house, slipped on the hallway stupid laminate that I've been meaning to rip up.
Entire bodyweight landed on left elbow then the back of my head.
No idea how my arm isn't broken or shoulder dislocated.
Smaller son appeared, poised to phone another ambulance!8 -
Ouchie! Hope you are ok Frith.
For yesterday,
Made a loaf and did some housework, cold, wet day so didn’t mind being indoors.
Exercises, legs and core today, my abs ache so hopefully working.
Pulled my girlie in from her oh so muddy field, raining hard again by that point and didn’t fancy doing any work so took the opportunity to tidy up her very long, thick tail and just be with her.
Still enjoying my book, Breaking the Age Code, lots to think about.
Last episode of Silent Witness, awww 🥰7 -
Vjsmum, perfect thank you.
Frith, ouchy hope you are okay.
For yesterday
1 Had a cheat bacon sarnie, it was both brekkie and lunch.
2 Visited the in laws.
3 Traffic was kind on the way home, we were just ahead of a road closure.
For today
1 Re filled the bird feeders, enjoyed watching the woodpecker.
2 Cleaned up, deep cleaned and jet washed the ferret run.
3 Clean bedding for us.
4 A comforting chicken soup and leftover nan bread was lunch.
5 Celebrating the day with a takeaway as it’s cheaper than the Valentine’s food deals.
6 I made a small brownie batch with coconut flour, coconut oil, chopped nuts etc to a recipe that bore no resemblance by the time I had finished in and drew little hearts on it for valentines.
The vets have confirmed they are not happy doing the surgery, we have found somewhere we want to refer to, but must wait and see for if he does need surgery could they, everything is very crossed over here

Might have several minutes of nearish village connectivity. On verra....
1. Another 3 coins found on various bits of ground yesterday. Always welcome.
2. Fed all the drenched seniors after swimming rugby training last night. Completely crazy weather.....again and/or still, amounts to the same thing atm.
3. Not exactly an osp, but the cruel irony of Valentine's Day also being the 1st anniversary of Cyclone Gabrielle, which devastated &'s Aotearoa province of Hawkes Bay, is not lost.
4. Remarkable play by a remarkable writer, David Pownall's last, on R4 this arvo:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001w893
5. Not sure how it happened, but was suddenly answering call from P and J in Spain last night, while awaiting the drowned rats to come in post-training. 'But you called us', said P. 'No', said &, but on we went for 22m 08secs apparently🤗 and it was terrific. Much catching up done, including &'s promise of many Christmas crackers when next & reaches very Southern Spain.👌🤲👏. Have loads to take,😁.

Hope you felt the love!Very quiet day here after three busier days.Pup was dropped off after his walk this morning by dog walker. He was absolutely soaked and filthy! Him…I’ll just go upstairs and lie on the light beige carpet. Me…I don’t think so!Had a snoozette this afternoon…it’s been a while!Had a late lunch of sourdough toast with a couple of mashed up boiled eggs so didn’t really need tea.Pup picked up and taken straight home! See ya! There’s usually chatter or food involved but DD2 wanted straight home.Continuing with my trashy watching!8
