1) working on the train - one of life's pleasures - gorgeous day and stunning views
2) arrived safely in london, hotel is bijou but clean and comfortable and only 7 mins walk from Kings X - quickly settled
3) had brought a sarnie with me in case i didn't fancy going out - wise move as got very cold and staying in was rather attractive - long day yesterday, long day tomorrow, even DD needs an occasional rest!
4) very good football match. phoned dad at same time so great catch-up. then listened to forest penalties
5) the socket has a usb. you have all probably seen these before, but new one on me. i am easily pleasedMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Mhagster - just so glad your boy is OK - these late night calls are tough on the nerves!
Can barely lie in bed, just So Happy (& proud & relieved) ! Youngest has offers of places from two of his five uni picks & I’m just hoping his all time favourite stretches out a hand but either way, he’s launching!(Of course I wish his father was beside me to cheer him on but we’re both coping.)11 -
& possibly has a little bit of connectivity, outside a MrT, so let's throw down a few osps. First time in ages and now see many others losing posts, so it's not just a Fen thing.
1. Found £1 near a shopping trolley, so in it went to charity bookshelf, in-store.
2. Fully mobile again,💓😁 + year's MOT, after entering week 9 without. Wonderful care from CVM.
3. En route back from Army (decent win)vs CURUFC at Grange Road ground, gifted by young Rugby friend. Great match and chat and happiness.
4. Turbulence and turmoil in group with which & is closely involved must come to an end. Not an osp, clearly, but setting it down is. Reading John 1, 1-11 at midweek Communion tomorrow. On verra.
5. Wonderful rtcx5 tonight - as shown. Yup, down from £22 to £4.90, pomegranate gin liqueur, 30%! 👍😋
Wishng everyone well until posting is possible again.🤗CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Pleasures over last few days
1. Ds2 is doing ok and hopefully will start to learn to walk again in April.
2. Nearly finished the 2nd PIp form as was given wrong advice by DWP when ds had his accident.
3. Chilli and Rice for dinner.
4. Making plans for a few days in the sunshine in March with DD.
5. Went to see a mortgage advisor so hopefully when settlement comes through I can buy somewhere instead of paying rent and monthly payment will be the same.11 -
Many congratulations 🎉 to youngest DFV
Waves to Ampersand.
For yesterday,
Made a batch of wholemeal dough, enough for a loaf plus rolls, and while it was proving did a few chores.
We had some sunshine and did a little pottering in the garden.
Oh joy, my horse’s field was muddy again after the previous nights rain so hot wash back in action. Worked her in lunge pen and then removed all itchy places while she munched on hay net, she swings her head back and noses when she needs a spot given specific attention but does give ready kisses in return. What’s not to love.
Quick meal and then into Uni City for a trip to theatre, ghostly production that had us jumping in our seats at times. Saw our friend.
Home and small dog barked her disapproval at us being out all evening, doesn’t happen often! Square of dark chocolate and little nip of something warming as cold night.8 -
Hello. From the land of wind and snow flurries. And ever so ever so cold!Up early.Into town at lunchtime to meet DD2 for an appointment. Parked at supermarket so walked down the hill in the icy wind and back up in the snowy wind!Nipped into charity shop but nothing that took my fancy ( and I don’t really need) and M&S then round to meet her.Home and hello doggy and let’s sit on the sofa and watch the snow fall in the garden.
Friend phoned for a chat. And that was about it!9 -
Is there a lot of snow over there Mhags?

Many congrats to the choices for D4V’s son
Another one of the fuzzies, taken v ill, very suddenly as an emergency with puss coming out of private bits, whipped into vet at 3pm, told it is an emergency, they need to operate there and then, we were there 3 hours. All done and he came home for the night on the arrangement we went straight in with him first thing this morning to be hospitalised, much improved bloods and kidney work this time, but it now shows there is something causing it rather than just an infection, vet is looking into what needs to be done to find out what it is for appropriate treatment. At the moment he’s home with us, on antibiotics and painkiller. He’s running about like nothing is up
1 A simple soup and used up a nan bread as I’ve run out of bread at the mo was lunch, and prepped a stew with herby dumplings as I knew we would be running about for the above.
2 More obvious signs of spring have the cameras out with snowdrops, crocus's and the first daffodil here is in flower.
3 Awww, we’ve had a stray handed to us on hold, in case an owner can prove, last day for owner is tomorrow…..She’s rather come in and made herself at home already ahem.
4 A little squeal as the sweet pea seeds have started coming through in the green house.
5 Clean bedding for both us and them.
6 We have a set of rugs and heat mats that come out for poorlies they are back down 3 over the house all on for when they are needed, not sure it’s a pleasure but it keeps them comfortable.
7 In true mse style I am eeking out the toothpaste, I’ve cut off the tube, until we can get to the shops.

Oh no! Me too! Long post wandered off. Who knows where?
Short version
Huge congratulations to DfV's son. You and your DH raised wonderful sons.x
Topsy T. Gosh! It's been a long hard road to this point, but do hope we start getting good news in April
D Doll - Arent we posh! My clever DH put sockets with USB ports by the desk in the spare bedroom. It's a veritable charging dock in there!
Next to no snow here so that was lucky.
Very wet sleety weather though so stayed in and caught up on housework/admin. As Lainey says, the pleasure is, it's done!
Watched Silent Witness last night. Clear as mud. Was left totally confused!
Reading a DCI Banks book. Much more straightforward!
Happy Friday everyone ( presses Post with fingers crossed)6
