1. Has to be this little lad's achievement, let alone his survival. Strong empathy from & as a leiomyosarcoma surgery survivor, but no Snowdon. Beyond words, a fine young man.

3. Crocheting a Welsh colours scarf for Alma Patron's upcoming birthday. Incredibly lucky 50p find of a signed 'JPR' autobiography will be inside it.👏🏴
4. Another Fred Vargas book was suddenly in the chuck-out section!😃 She is something else as a writer and in her academic life.
5. Several MRIs. First result a Phew! Kidney stays for now; close watch continuing. 2 more results awaited.
Thankyou NHS.🫶

I walked around locally to pick up some olio bits, this time some Heinz no added sugar which is what we use all the time.
A spot of gardening as various plants are now dying down.
Cleaned up the office admittedly just the minimum I’d set myself, which was to clear the floor, of course next is clearing the surfaces
2 bags of clothing bad enough that these will be let go of rather than donated.
An easy dinner from the freezer of a Costco slice of pizza and some chicken bits.

Pleasures for today (Friday)
1)Not a bad sleep.
2) Went to the coffee morning and did a cryptic crossword. I had compiled a crossword for my crossword partner.
3) Went to the local SEND college cafe. The man who runs the cafe is starting a new job elsewhere on Monday. He has saved me tomato puree tubes for a year and had 2 more saved today!
4) Smaller son cooked the tea.
5) I applied for a job. Annoyingly, I then found out more online, but it was too late.
6) Watched Celebrity Traitors.
7) Haven't seen my muntjac today but did have this in the garden.

For yesterday,
Bread made for the weekend plus a tray of flapjack.
Decent day weather wise so time spent in the garden, something has been digging up my allium bulbs so replanted. Have four tomatoes left on plant to ripen. Spinach & mizuna doing well and picked some for lunchtime salad.
Long chat with bf.
Afternoon at the yard, the resident chickens were out and about & interested in the contents of girlie’s feed bin. Said girl had some yellow stickered parsnips for a teatime treat.
Watched the Traitors then PSboys at the bbc.

Morning all… just.
A glorious sunny day here.
I've been laid low since we got back with the cellulitis in my leg flaring up again, what a nuisance. Makes me very fluey and nauseous too for the first couple of days so lost a fair bit of this week sleeping and feeling grim.
Our surgery is brilliant and I got, thankfully, a same-day appointment for strong antibiotics which are gradually kicking in though have their own side effects, and I'm booked in for blood tests next week. Happening a bit too often so this time I really want to get to the bottom of it so we will see.
Got up yesterday evening and watched the fist episode of Traitors, we are new to it and not sure what to think so far so keeping an open mind. Must just be me but I did find RE Grant very silly and annoying, put it down to antibiotic grumpiness, or maybe just general grumpiness! Probably missing the point completely! We will persevere.
I'm up today and determined to stay up all day though must keep my leg elevated. Had a wonderful shower and will binge watch Blue Lights this afternoon and have the papers to read and maybe a nap so all is good.
Hope you are all having a good weekend, lovely October weather here, hope it is for you too - son has storms and rain in Kos so we can all be happy to be in good old Blighty. Enjoy your day.
