Feeling a bit fed up at times so need to return to post my pleasures
1. Bought a caravan which is currently being stored on my dd driveway. I have never towed before so had arranged to do a course.
2. DS2 has got another op on Monday at Addenbrookes to hopefully balance out his leg length on the fractured one.
3. Because of 2 had to try and rearrange my caravan towing course from next week. The lovely man allowed me to change dates with no extra charge.
4. Got promoted at work into the role I’ve been covering since February-not managed to celebrate yet.
5. in relation to 4 lots of lovely messages from colleagues which boosted my confidence
6. dm doing well health wise st the moment
7. Lunch out with all my family & grandchildren- very special.
happycas & Suffolk Sue - hope your soon on the mend.
Frith - can you help me sort my house out. Never seem to get straight due to work & hospital visits10 -
S Sue, just echoing what others have said, and sending hugs.
Frith, an amazing haul there.
& we’re all here for the good, bad, and managing.
Lainey, its amazing how much we can slow our own breathing when checking on someone else’s, heart in mouth literally.
Honestly you couldn’t make this up, I went for my pre-op today, with a more senior person, we sat and talked, they could see why I had high blood pressure previously, my blood pressure is now low at home, and half what it was previously there. She then talked to the head anaesthesiologist who basically said they shouldn’t have pushed the bp meds, even thou I got a call a couple of weeks ago, making sure that I was! As now, they will postpone as BP is low and needs to settle! So I said if I had literally done nothing, I would be having the surgery that was booked in next week. Emotional doesn’t cover it and DH is spitting bullets and talking about complaining. I can see both sides. But I’ve had enough now, I just sat and cried it out at home.
1 Initially the appointment went okay, we went out after to a garden centre to celebrate and took advantage of their cooked brekkie deal it was a lovely treat before walking around the trees looking for something to replace the fig but came away empty-handed.
2 We then popped to the cheap shops for bits and bobs.
3 I got on with the house cleaning, and then got the call about the above and stopped for re composure.
4 Chocolate.
5 Having a couple of people that care, who are also miffed, putting it mildly.

Me again!
In the grand scheme of things nothing too bad but a miserable little day and feeling a bit bruised and battered. My face is still very red and swollen, I can sense people backing off in horror when they catch sight of me! Feel like telling them the doctor told me not to worry what people think and how wrong was he?! The meds are starting to kick in but leave me feeling exhausted even though I'm sleeping very deeply on them and struggling to wake up. Also having weird and vivid dreams, can't remember the details but I know I dreamed about my mum and dad last night, woke up and my pillow was wet and I've felt a bit desolate all day. I want my mum back.....To the dentist and she struggled with my tooth and then ran out of time - I was in the chair over an hour - so I'm botched up for tonight and back there in the morning so our second day trip and lunch out has been cancelled too. Awful drive home in the pouring rain with spray meaning at times we could barely see. Accident on the motorway just before our junction and the motorway closed so huge queues and we were diverted, got home in the end but a journey that should have taken an hour took nearly three. Mouth still numb so just had a bit of porridge for tea and a cuppa sucked through a straw. Son's partner's car was bashed in the airport car park so now off the road. Hubby's cough is no better. Oh woe is me!!!!
Pleasures:
1) I can come here for a moan and won't be judged eventhough many of you have worse to deal with.
2) The dentist reckons my tooth will be sorted tomorrow and at least she got me in quickly, very grateful she could juggle her day tomorrow to do that.
3) We got home safely unlike some poor people today.
4) Hubby was a star, kind about my mum and dad, manfully did a lot of driving and was lovely about having to do it all again tomorrow and missing another day out. He is rock solid in my times of total flakiness!
5) A lovely hot shower has warmed me up, I was cold to my very middle. Nice and warm, clean jarmers and a lovely bed to climb into, hubby has turned my covers down, turned the lamp on and put my drink and tablets out ready. I am one very lucky person and tomorrow is another day.
Night night all, stay safe.

also sending hugs suffolksue
1) had booked 11:08 train down to London so plenty of time to pack / bath while watching last 2 episodes of woman in the wall (excellent) then do some emails
2) treated myself to 1st class as difference wasn't huge and meant I was able to work - got a fair bit done. Also chatted to fellow passengers which is always fun
3) met DD2 at Kings Cross, got the tube to Canada Water and had a very nice supper
4) then we went for a lovely walk - the river looks stunning
5) and now settled in bed night all

PK - cross-posted with you, can't believe what has been happening. You must be so upset, frustrated, angry and your poor hubby must be feeling so helpless. So sorry about it all, hope something happens really soon x
