1) pins and needles feeling in my hand from falling in stinging nettles on Tuesday has finally stopped
2) the bramble scratches are healing nicely, just have a couple of thorn splinters to sort.
3) two people I had to train were Organised on time and on the ball.
4) managed to stay calm (ish) when a colleague turned up 20 mins late to a meeting he was needed for.
5) my walking shoes are nearly dry and almost ready for tomorrows soggy morning walk.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?9 -
1 The whole house was hoovered and mopped before 9.
2 Semi organised the freezers and moved things around and got out some pizza slices and a turkey crown for meal planning.
3 Sat outside with a hot drink and book in a patch of sun, but one of the ferrets was determined I needed a cuddle.
4 More storms, with the hail flattening the tulips, not so sure that’s a pleasure apparently, it made it onto the news.

Hello. Bedtime. Have been sat downstairs in the dark for past half hour texting niece back and forth! All of a sudden thought oops it’s dark!Drove as far as big supermarket this morning as it’s where I get caffeine free DC.Went to nearby charity shop and may have purchased a stripy tee shirt and a pair of cropped jeans.
Home. Had a roll and sausages cooked in the air fryer.
In the garden for a good hour in afternoon. Planted up my recent purchases.Started a new book. May have had a snoozette.
Then read and read and read.Chat with DD2 and then friend called me , read more than niece was texting and all of a sudden it was dark o’clock.
Energy levels still a bit meh and head still a bit achey but better than yesterday which was horrible.10 -

Oh bless you VJS hope you feel better soon x
For yesterday,
Some chores & errands done first thing so the pleasure of ticking them off list.
You can tell the spring grass is coming through as equine pal is a little reluctant to be caught and leave her field, she doesn’t run away just move her head in such a fashion that it’s a struggle to get her head collar on, monkey.
Leftover macaroni cheese with salad for lunch.
The heavy warmth of small dogs head on my foot as I sat drinking my afternoon cuppa, she just wants to be where I am.
It was a chilly evening so happy to still have flannel sheets on bed but suspect they will be packed away soon.

Good morning all -
Vjm, daughter of rugby club friend is loving Vietnam. Heard and saw more pics from her travels last night.
1. Lovely midweek Communion yesterday. & had her post-Lent coffee+dairy, yippee:-) Sent another short walk-around-outside video to old NZ schoolfriends, as done every few months/change of season.
2. Bank balance better than expected.
3. Concerned for someone who didn't turn up for something yesterday, contrary to remark made, so & wrote a little note, but surname/address unknown. A not-&-village Postmistress knows person and promised to hand deliver it later. & realised she could not give personal details out, so really appreciated the offer.
4. Preview work done, probably last one of season today, with more and more ghosting:-) M does layout, is back in France this week, but we are managing. & did more i/v biz and updates post-training at Club last night. Bitterly cold again.
5. Dropped a few bits to a CS en route and bought a fabulous little 'Couples' piece by Helen Martino. Love her work:

goodness how many days is that vjsmum?
glad to hear you're on the mend mhags
writing this from my 8th floor hotel room overlooking a snowy Quebec City. Yesterday's pleasures were
1) being woken by my lovely mum at 4:45am with a mug of tea
2) watching some good films first leg - finished the Elvis I'd started coming back from Saudi way back in September (last long haul) then first 14 mins of Fabelmans but couldn't get into it so abandoned then two older films I'd not seen before - Steel Magnolias (I cried at the end) then Mandela the long walk to freedom - wow
3) slept on 2nd two flights - bliss
4) a nice meal at Montreal Airport with a cheeky glass of red (uni pays for the food, boss paid for the wine, my turn today)
5) the lovely uber driver who got us safely to our hotel 23 hours after my journey had started in Edinburgh - very happy to roll into bedMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Oh Canada DD, I realise it’s work but hope there’s some down time too!Well I’ve just done another covid test but still saying negative. Still a bit headachy and blah but it might just be a blah kind of headache thing!Anyway. Nipped to supermarket first thing for a couple of things then back home to wait for a delivery which had had its time changed. However the chaps came earlier than they were supposed to ( more in the first time slot than the second) so just as well I was in.New garden furniture. All in one box! Hmmm…anyway it was also packed very precisely till I got to the bottom of the box and a bit of the framework was twisted, took photos, phoned customer service. And got a bit of a refund. It’s still useable. No one else will notice it. And it would have been so much more hassle to try and get it all back in a box and wait for it to be collected then have to wait for a new one. However an odd start to the email I was sent…Hi *********** ( my surname!j not Mrs surname or my first name just my surname!Anyway it’s all arranged and has been snoozed upon! Had a very warm afternoon nap. Was reading but obviously dozed off! It was a gorgeous afternoon.Washing all put away! It’s only mine!Had crackers and cheese and the last crème egg…though I discovered i have an emergency one that a colleague gave me on Sunday.Finished the book I started yesterday and I’m more than half way through the one I started this afternoon. I’m in a reading mood. Have a wee pile on the table to get dropped off at supermarket charity bookshelf.
Dog cuddles.10 -
1) walking in the rain … if I’m prepared for it then I do sometimes quite like it
2) brief catch up with a friend to give her a beaded bracelet I made for her
3) delivered some flowers to another friend
4) visited our favourite sausage shop to pick up some for dinner and som for the freezer
5) dropped some milk and more flowers to a friend who had been in hospital but home, had a cuppa and a chat
6) a warm Bath… coz I thought I needed to get even wetter!7) my virgin mobile sim only is swapping to o2 and more than doubling my data allowance … just after my rpi increase of £2 a month… so that will do for a whileworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?9
