Oh, it appears &'s early morning post DIDN'T.....but, saved elsewhere, so:Oh my goodness, happycas! Various chimings with your post, so here they be - in morning & is heading for early dental check with wonderful surgery and people.
I left yesterday's osps at Go no.3, rather than tempt Fate further.
So,1. Recipient of amurigumi Gus the Croc on Saturday is en route back to Oz/family for several weeks as we speak. Loves him, warts and all, and was thrilled - and mostly managed to decrypt &'s accompanying card😁 which & had suggested could easily be 30 airborne hours' reading matter.😇Will post pic when connectivity allows away from here - 2 refusals so far.
Beret in Club stripes, of course.😁
2. Suddenly had idea of using Thermos cup for supper drink....so much better! Stays hot, no accidental spills en route to bed.
3. Next crochet project....leisure and pleasure of project thinking, wool stash browsing. &'s hometown group post pics of their incredible skills, chat and knit as easily as they breathe, unlike &, but recommend the SkeiNZ SpeakEasy, group:https://m.facebook.com/sharer.php?sid=1099195323516944&referrer=group&eav=AfauWMtDHT8MzZ_xxTx0IHln75TvA-62UHS2nxtmjdCUGGc0KRCx73jQtgs4mE9xn-4&paipv=0&refid=18#
4. 2nd morning of 'shepherds' warning' and within moments, grey again....in time & went to fetch mob. for pic, bien sûr.😖 just heard forecast of 'unsettled, cloudy widespread outbursts of rain and heavier showers spreading in from the northeast all day.'' Meantime, still snug with last night's hwbs.
5. At 01.29h, finally succeeded in sorting Fizzy insurance online via Martin's hoops and loops, as always. Have been trying for days, with whole system going bleeughhh repeatedly. So yes, as Martin has warned for some time, prices are up, but & has boxed clever and ended up with AA. Have to remember my age has increased too ' - another⬆️factor. Oddly, monthly was cheaper than annual, with more add-on benefits! - and done is done.👏#Following The Nutella Fancy Society here, & is not one, but our retired Vic certainly is. & has gifted various N-related things over the years and returned from any travels with country X's example. Yes, Bonne Maman from &'s sacred hexagon.😇Frith - had to trawl back to find HOUSE SALE!!! Hope late applause is acceptable and very best of luck with whichever of the 2 you opt for.Good days to all. Yikes, look at time! Must dash.🙂'

Update: another filthy day example of British summer time - and 4 birthdays to do it with, one in Aotearoa.
& has had Good Girl all clear from dentist and Dr. Oh, I say!
Also realise a sum of raffle£s next Saturday can take us to BIG FIG.....jotted back to x and y that the Raffle Harridan will up her game for this season's final ticket bash to Harridan The Cosh.😁
On verra.
✨️🎖Matters other watery: our Light Blues' glorious clean sweep weekend with oars❤️🔥👌

Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) Took a long time to get to sleep but then a good 4 hours.
2) Blood test. I asked the nurse about my previous ferritin levels (taken 6 weeks ago) and there was a lot of searching on the computer. They are so low that I shouldn't really be able to walk around (as in, there is almost no ferritin at all!!) She did ask me if I felt ok! I have spoken to my friend (often anaemic) and she was hospitalised and had transfusions at the level I am at. In fact, I am at the same level my sister was after 2 PPH and 5 pints of blood transfusions. Let us see what today's test says.
3) Went with my brother and sat outside the house I like (the lake house). Then we looked around another house and he loved it and I didn't!
4) Did some Arabic in M and S cafe. Bought some more steak for tea. Put an offer in on the lake house. Have heard nothing yet.....................
5) My estate agent phoned and all the checks and paperwork have been done on my buyer. It is all fine and she has asked if I can move out as soon as possible before I actually find another house. No!
6) Went to Ludlow as was in a tizzy about buying a new house and couldn't concentrate on anything. Did the charity shops and found 2 M and S t shirts, a Joules t shirt with bees on then a very nice demin Mistral dress. I was really short of clothes and keep getting told off by smaller son for borrowing his t shirts. Had a pot of tea and a date flapjack in Bill's cafe while I was in Ludlow. All the new charity shop clothes are in the washing machine now.
7) Did the washing up mountain and will have hm potato wedges, onion rings, tomatoes and steak for tea (again).
In less pleasant news, saw 2 rats in the garden and the cat was staring at something earlier so I will need to get some poison.

Hadn't posted for a few days as my father was admitted to hospital on Friday and became critically ill very soon. He has battled until earlier this evening when his life support was turned off. All the family were there at the end. It was very sad but full of love and the compassion and love shown by the ITU staff was outstanding. They did everything to make an unbearable few days bearable.
The NHS is an organisation that runs on people on the front line going beyond where they should. The nurse assigned to my Dad stayed an hour beyond her shift so she could be with us all until the end. The nurse assigned to my father was one we hadn't met so she stayed beyond her 12 hour shift end. The compassion shown by them all was outstanding.9 -
