5! Of the best and we is threw. Last time me Granddad was 29 and he went Stamford Bridge all them years ago! Gotto say we outplayed them, out classed them. I could go on and on and on and on, so I will!

Wooblesades were taken in measure! Cheeses were available!

Awake about an hour before I needed to be so I’m hoping for a better sleep tonight.

Out early with doggy then went into work for 90 minutes. Had to defrost car to go and then defrost car to come back but at least it was light on the way home.

Chat to sister.

Had the dentist today. All okay.

Went to visit my friend this afternoon. I would normally walk but drove as I had to go pick something up for DD2 birthday tomorrow. It’s a big cookie. I’ve told her she’s not getting a birthday cake so she’d a moan about that ….a cookie is not a cake so I wasn’t lying! Nice time with friend . Much to chat about, a few tears and a fair amount of laughs. 

Drove over to pick up cookie. Me arguing with Sat Nav as it wanted me to do a u-turn to get out of friends estate…I don’t need to! I’ll just keep going thank you!

Called other friend ( Tuesday tea friend ) as I was now in her area but it turned out she was going to be in my area. So she came for a Thursday tea instead 😆 so that  was a lovely unexpected bonus to the day! Much chatter and so much laughter! 

Secret squirreling with niece who will meet us tomorrow morning. Is XXX coming  ( we are going for brunch) nah! She’s working! Awh. So no birthday cake and no cousins. What a rubbish birthday!

Pleasures for last few days

1. Glad of days off have accomplished a bit of decluttering but still more to go.
2. Back to garage again with car. It hopefully finally sorted.
3. Iced bun with coffee - just what I needed.
4. Bright but cold today for doggy walk.
5. Food made to take to work with me, will save some cash.

Pleasures for today (Thursday)

1) Not a bad sleep.

2) Did plenty of Arabic.

3) Bigger son popped over. He is moving into his rented house tomorrow with his girlfriend. We moved the bags of his clothes from my car into his. I also took his chest of drawers apart (plastic Ikea model) and washed all the drawers out for him in the bath.

4) My parents came round in the afternoon as they wanted me to help them open a new savings account online, which I did, courtesy of Martin Lewis. 

5) Had some puff pastry to use up so I made a sort of messy apple flan thing then a pasty with chicken and bacon.

6) Had an unexpected evening out.

For yesterday,

Trip into horsey town for provisions, saw a couple of strings heading up to gallops and their coats were shining in the sunshine.

More horses, this time my own, she was at the bottom of her field when I turned up at the gate so called her name and she cantered up to see me, she hurts my heart with joy at times. Then she was a little monkey in the school, naughty & opinionated, Ying & Yang I guess.

Made a call on behalf of Volunteer Network.

Couple of books arrived in post.

Long chat with bf and arrangements made to meet up next weekend.

Hello. 

It’s been a nice long day, this week has actually felt like a nice length of week. The last few have just flown by so it’s nice to feel like a normal week ( pfft…whatever normal is😆) 

Anyway I was up early and birthday girl not so much! Just me and the dog for ages! 

She liked her presents. Just a few nice things. Some money and brunch out.

Met up with niece and the boyo! They were hiding! Surprise! So nice to catch up altogether. 

Lovely brekkie. I’d a toasted sandwich with bacon and egg. 

Then a cake. I’ve not had sugar in about 10 days and oooft it’s actually given me such an energy slump.

Home and snoozed! Caught up on telly stuff. 

The Chap has just gone to pick up some takeaway food for a late tea ( bit late to eat for me but I’m sure I’ll manage!

Frith

Pleasures for today (Friday)

1) A really long sleep! 9 hours!

2) Went to see bigger son in his new house. It is much better and bigger than mine! I liked the cellar and the large kitchen.

3) I went to M and S for a pot of tea then bought sandwiches and cakes and left them at bigger son's door for his lunch (he had gone to pick something else up).

4) I went to my parents' to borrow the step ladder as one of the smoke alarms in the new house was beeping intermittently and no one could reach it.

5) Dropped a rabbit off for someone (to eat, not alive).

6) Smaller son and I had fish and chips for tea.

7) In bed now with plenty of television programmes and radio shows to catch up on.

Pleasures for today

1. Up early and in work, so busy which made the day go quick.
2. Feel like I’ve fitted into the team, I know some from old
3. With Acting promotion given some staff welfare issues to deal with
4. New car seems to be working thankfully-engine light has stayed off.
5. Doggy cuddles on return from work, ds2 seemed happy to see me too.
