glad your day went well dfv sounds like it was a day full of love
1) morning workshop at the botanic gardens - very good place to move such work meetings - and a glorious day
2) very nice lunch - hadn't realised so today's sarnie in the work fridge for tomorrow's lunch - then lift to ninewells with lovely colleague
3) on my own for supper so was a fridge raid stew with toast - yum
4) remembered to leave in time for the quick (and cheaper!) bus
5) episode of marie antoinette on iplayer while i'm on the exercise bike - ok that's the plan for my 5th pleasure - then i'll be off to bed night all

1 Winter sun so I set to with a few garden tasks and got carried away clearing algae off a plastic shed that faces the wrong way.

2 Croissants on Croissant day, a pleasant coincidence for lunch as it was more like I was going through the freezer and forgot I left them on the top.

3 Dinner from freezer is steak with veg and new pots.

4 Making plans for as many bee friendly plants as possible for the front and back garden, and happy to see a few sunflowers must have had leftover seeds as they are growing already from being left along in pots.

Pleasures for today

1. Day did not go according to plan, fell over near station on way into work - pleasure I just escaped with grazes and hurt pride.
2. Got into work, spoke to dr about ds2 swollen foot, amb arranged and left work to go to hosp. Support at work, interview rescheduled for tomorrow at 9. 

3. Able to practice presentation again 
4. Quick tea ready made Ricotta & spinach pasta and jar sauce.
5. My amazing neighbours who came to my rescue again.

For yesterday,

A bright, sunny day.

Dug out a can of chickpeas and made a dish of houmous, had some for lunch.

Over to the yard, worked girlie in the school and she is obviously feeling the fast approaching springtime, pleasure is we stayed together!

Home and small dog barked to advise me that I was a tad late giving her tea, it had only just gone 4.30 but in her eyes obviously a lot later 🙈

Uni Challenge and then watched the penultimate Happy Valley.

Hello. 

It is absolutely horrendous outside. Lashing with rain and hailstones and so windy. Glad I’m inside.

Up early for work.
Quick doggy walk before I went in. 

A bunch of tulips and daffodils on way home from supermarket.
Home. Kind of pottered around. Moving a few things around. 

Was going to make spag bol however I didn’t have mince in the freezer. But did have chopped steak so threw that in the slow cooker with tomatoes and veggies. Had that with pasta for tea.

For lunch I made a couple of little cheese scones in the airfryer. 

Cuddles with my doggy. He’s always nearby especially the day after I’ve been at work. In a kind of well if I sit on you you can’t leave. 

Another early start tomorrow. Same weather I think!

Pleasures recently

1. Getting on with the decorating of spare bedroom in ICT - am hoping to eventually be able to post that i like the colour after all..
2. Out with friends on Saturday - and their daughter, my goddaughter.  She lives in the Maldives and is over for a month.  Was lovely to see her.
3. Planning our holiday to Vietnam in March
4. finished the marking - until next week.
5. walks by the sea and by the lake.

Pleasures for today

1. Presentation went well, interview think I answered the questions but I know there are a few things that I should have included. Find out by the weekend.

2. Ds2 coped ok, my amazing neighbours brought him sandwiches and made him a roast dinner as well. I will never ever be able to repay their kindness and support.

3. Colleague swapped my 2 days shifts for nights, means I’m around a bit more and only need sleep in between the 2 nights.

4. Mini Magnum lolly out of the freezer.

5. Knowing it’s just over a week until payday.

Frith

Pleasures for today (Tuesday)

1) Not a bad sleep.

2) Went to Waitrose for lunch and shopping.

3) Did a bit of Arabic.

4) Did a load of washing. I thought I had suddenly become incontinent in the middle of the night but my hwb had split!

5) Went to the football and our team won 3-1! We haven't won at home for many months.

6) In bed with the remaining hwb.

7) The midlife crisis is nearly over. He is quite petulant and annoying.

Cleaned downstairs, took the winter garland off the Bessemer beam, changed the seasonal decs on the mantlepiece and put out a couple of yellow & green candles, all ahead of Imbolc today.

Washing dried on line.

Over to the stables, worked girlie in school and she was much better behaved but think we both need to up our fitness levels!

Leaving the yard at twilight and saw a barn owl flying down the ditch at the side of the lane.

Tasty tea of rtc salmon with Pak Choi, rice and plenty of ginger.

From the Deck!

Was at the Tower yesterday, fortunately IT decided to ruin everyones day by downgrading us all! Cheers were herd at the tea urn! 8 weeks work was disregarded!

Ran home and our local keep the countryside dirty charity has cleared the pond, after years of being paid and not doing so, have done such. They has left their mess on the side. The Admiral has reported this as fly tipped!

The we had tea at home of proper ham salad and things.

Court up with uni challenge and some moor Grand Tour. Fruit waters and cheese was taken!

Had me golden flakes of corn in iced milk for brakefest, and packed off the Albatross with her lunch box.

Now connected to the Tower doing good things!
