1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Lost 2 lbs.
3) Repotted currant bushes and a crab apple tree.
4) Painted the bit of house where the porch used to be.
5) Had a barbeque on the allotment with my brother and smaller son. I did coleslaw and halloumi and veg skewers plus burgers and my brother brought muntjac steaks.

Pleasures for today.
1. Walking pup through the local allotments - some fabulous plots.
2. DS2 passed his CBT test.
3. Whilst I waited for Ds2 went to Flatford which was nearby - think Lainey was there a short time ago - fabulous place, very dog friendly.
4. Scone with Jam & Cream at the NT tea rooms.
5. Jersey potatoes with dinner with lots of butter.11 -
Yes, we went to Flatford last week Topsy, smashing place and as you say very dog friendly ☺️For yesterday,
Out for a food shop, no rtc to speak of but stuck to list.
At the yard, pony over sulk and was in a very kissy mood - she touches her nose to my face - so guess I’m forgiven! Worked her in the school and she was a good girl. She had a little walk and graze in hand afterwards as a reward.
Housework rather slipped last week with days out etc so got the hoover out, washed down the stairs and changed dog’s bedding.
It was my bf’s birthday so long phone chat and arrangements made to meet up next week.
Tasty tea, baked cod with fried LO new pots plus lemon fennel, followed by melon.10 -
Hangover!!!!! No sympathy from the Admiral!!! Not even Jenny gives a ...
We will ask in 6 weaks!
Parmasain Chicken?Sheba, The Admiral nots post every day!
Coleslaw! Non Food!
PH has yous gets & 'Putah?
Funky Moped?
Cream Thirst in the Scone?
Proper Tatties as well!
Baked Cod. Food fit four the Admiral!
Ooops the software headers are all forked again!
Now heres watt life is like in your version of The Admiral's Day!
Checked the programme guide down low last evening to see if the Uni Quiz is on. Will get that low again next weak!
We had Tom Snorkers last eve for dinner. Proper snorkers with toe nail fryed inn the pan, then added carrots, good four yous eyes! sweetcorn and tossed over with plum tom from the can, chopped and squirted with tom pure. Added chilli four flavour. Nectar food of The Admiral! Then we has the strawbs and ice cream!
Then off to the discount surplus stores to get provisions and a shot off wobbleade. It seems that although our council did not wants the discount surplus store, the public are voting with there foots. Style cheaper than the boo tick! As I says I was inn the boo tick w8r5 and find I could not empty my pocket at £4.75 for a sandwich! AVOID!
Then home two eyed act 2 of Rigoletto on the opera stream. Very good baritone solo as well! Cheese was cut and a wobbleade pored! We then watched the thirst part of the new Rowans Atkinson Man vs. Bee on the flix system. Anothy wobbleade was taken! The Admiral recommends Man vs. Bee.
Packed the Albatross off with her good foods, all from the discount surplus store, too her work and is now sits with a mug off tee and a choice of biscuit, club or kitkat. Satsumas will bee taken later.
Jen sends her cheers to the not hungover!
Prepare for tomorrow, this day!I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!9 -
Sorry but RL is biting - for the lads all 3 grandparents are getting notably more fragile, my boss wants a fit note (or me to emerge from under my rock), the sadmin is bewildering me a bit (although some of that bafflement I can pass right back to the pension people, along with feedback that their website search engine is appalling & where is the guide for the bereaved?) and I am having horrid moments of wondering who I am (usually just when I'm tired, thank heavens, but then in no position to argue.)OS Pleasures recentlyYoungest has printed the most recent photo of Himself & loaded it into my locket. Of the 4 there are only 2 left standing but the other 2 seem to be doing OK. Godfather is filling computer space with more photos & Star Trek for us, bless him.Casablanca! Sometimes the old ones really are the best.A walk in the rain can be a special treat. Also baffling - why do raindrops show up more on green leaves than red?The anticipation of seeing the repaired signet ring is almost as good as the thing itself. Mind, it joins a household that values rings as reminders of love and resilience.Mother-in-law in hospital again, but recognised us masked though we were! She’s frail & her mind’s not all there, but she’s much loved.A different evening walk, and I am urged to try two short walks a day, not just one. My lads are policing my well-being firmly! My ink pen ran out - I’d forgotten it’s a cartridge pen & how my lads laughed. Now to figure where I left the cartridges… (“in your boots” suggests cheerful brat, who knows I’ve not seen them for ages either. However did I have a “place for everything” son?! ) [Found, pen refilled, more 'thank you for your kind words' notelets sorted & sent. This feel important, even though it may not be.]Family tree climbing has a branch “above the Bars and St.George the Martyr” in one Census, & I am giggling immoderately.Middleson has completed DofE gold bar various signatures but has no interest in the formal presentation in London bit. Whereas I yearn to goggle at royal turf… Aye well.Ma-in-law sleepier today but delighted by the Vaseline. Me trying to keep a tranquil expression as son murmurs “pucker up darling “ & deftly applies the stick…. [All sorts of questions womanfully stifled.]At some stage I will have to give up salt & vinegar flavoured things, but not today, not while they keep finding the sweet spot between salt and tangy vinegary goodness!A tall slender figure robed in purple is muttering as he can’t find the ketchup. Two purple bath sheets give him a strange SF cleric look & the muttering doesn’t detract!Mum phoned to say she'd got the parcel I sent south (bank "freebie" Good Housekeeping, hearing aid batteries & spare orders of service) & that she loved the order's back page of photos of things he made (the lads, the cawl spoons & rack, the quill pen & oak gall ink, the rushlights - we picked the most beautiful photos & had a lot to chose from!)Lovely colleague sent me a message urging me to buy a new pair of boots (mine disappeared before Himself died) as while they may be perfectly safe, the are not doing the job as my toes are getting wet. She has a point, both buying winter boots in summer and in luring the old pair back into circulation.. The OS pleasure is her concern for my wet toes!Health, strength, love & courage to all as have need & a special thank you to all in caring professions (let alone the NHS!)11

DigforVictory, most financial institutions have a designated department dealing with deceased clients' accounts, ask to be put through to them directly. Just keep buggering on, as Churchill supposedly said. One thing at a time. You'll get there. One life - your life - live it!11
