🍷🍰A very special Happy Birthday, Lainey.🍪🥂
1. Snugly in bed, tooties on hwb. The truth of simple osps runs deep currently, with KGB(now FSB)psychotic Putin being killer and manic narcissist simultaneously. Excellent transfiguration service strongly articulated what people were feeling.
2. Wore yellow and blue completely today. So what? - yes, it's a grain of sand gesture, but at least I know why. Like you, Happycas, I now know of more to do - and will.
3. Msg'g with Spain through some wee small hours.
4. Prepped rtc citrus - limes, tangerines, lemons - for 36hr soak for next marmalade, while listening to sadly bizarre 6 Nations rugby. Change in laws required. The long wooden spoon carved by son of Frith❤❤❤ is deployed.👏
5. Magically found fave long-lost breadknife. It had somehow slipped down into lowest freezer basket and aligned with base during a previous defrosting. It always feels like a bonus if & can lever and lift that ice-sheet out in one. This time, knife was suddenly visible.

Happy Birthday Lainey
1 A lazzee Sunday with grilled bacon for brekkie
2 Cooked up chicken for tonight and tomorrow in an effort to save a tiny bit of power.

Happy birthday, Lainey.
Pleasures for today (Sunday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Hens OK.
3) Most housework done.
4) Cut smaller son's hair.
5) Popped out in the afternoon. We are all thinking about Ukraine. Hari the shop suddenly swore and then said he was watching BBC News on his phone behind the counter and had mistaken the number of people who had left, for the number who had died.
6) Saw lots of deer on the way home from the shop.
7) Toad in the hole for tea.
8) Phoned my school friend.10 -
many happy returns lainey
here's to all who enjoyed a lazeeeeee sunday
1) walked the dogs - as grey bin almost empty and being lifted tomorrow combined it with a litter pick - a lot was gathered!
2) friend's 70th at cathedral - chocolate cake was consumed!
3) mum did a roast chicken lunch yum yum
4) then gave me a lift to mennies for the EFL cup final but i had a committee meeting at 7 so had to leave half way through extra time where Dr M as usual sat next to me, indeed as mennies was very full we had been sat very close. sigh.
5) committee meeting, lovely to see people (was online 2021) then walked back with one neighbour who mentioned he'd always wanted to play the trumpet. i said i have one (you'll remember xoh left a lot of stuff for me to 'find a good home for', including a banjo, French horn and trumpet. Neighbour now has the trumpet and is very happy. he asked me how much i wanted - i said nothing for me but i am ambassador for toilet twinning which builds toilets for communities in need of good sanitation so if he'd like to donate £60 i will ask the Botanics if we can twin one of their toilets. he is delighted, i am delighted and he now knows about toilet twinning.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Glad you had a good birthday🎂 Lainey. Love Holkham beach, must go back there 😊
We've had a nice weekend. Took advantage of the cineworld £3 tickets (actually cost £7.50 for 2 including booking fee) on Saturday and went to see The Duke, very good film.
Ex husband kindly sourced and fitted the four new fence panels we needed after storm Eunice. We got the garden tidied this morning and I threw around some bee bombs on my wildflower area.
Roast Chicken 🍗 and a bottle of red for dinner.
Now in bed with heat pad on my back reading on here.
Night all 💤11 -
Quick good morning and a belated birthday wish to Lainey .
Work was worked and shall be again just shortly! So, so busy but the day passed remarkably quickly! Hope for less busy but just as quickly today! Tips were okay and did include taking some out to buy flowers for someone leaving. Tips in the jam jar.It was a beautiful day ( cold wind) but blue of sky and sunny unlike today which is lashing with rain.Have a good day and Admiral PP enjoy your adventure!13 -
Happy birthday Lainey
Been a while since I posted.
Been away and had a great holiday and did some thinking about things and realised that I need to change my outlook about a few things and feel better for it.
1. Lovely holiday. Relaxed and sunny during the day. Chilly at night.
2. Good food and wine.
3. Paddled in the sea.
4. Saw a friend once home and caught up in loads.
5. DS1 called round briefly and he is doing well.
6. DS2 has been given a pay rise and a bonus. He is very happy.

Thank you all for my lovely birthday wishes x
Pleased that you enjoyed your holiday Villagelife.
For yesterday,
Bit of an early start as small dog needed urgent visit to garden, all well, think she just wanted to surprise the rabbits that jump in from the meadow at the bottom!
Long walk around the village inc interesting visit to the graveyard, so many snowdrops & crocuses in bloom.
Visit to Burnham Market, bit full of Hooray Henry types for me but pretty town.
A good Sunday lunch at pub, dog friendly and many people had their canine friends with them, our one sat under the table like the good girl she is and happily accepted the couple of bits of beef that her Mum surreptitiously passed her.
Red kites flying above the road as we drove along, first time I have seen them in Norfolk.12 -
For another reason and someone entirely, Lainey🙂, was doing Burnham Market-y things and see this:
https://www.edp24.co.uk/things-to-do/food-reviews/best-roast-dinners-norfolk-muddy-stilettos-8716264
Was often there with R, because of proximity to Greshams, his old school.
It was aka Chelsea-on-Sea even then, overrun by often obnoxious overspill.
Glad you're - all 3 - having a wonderful The Sea! The Sea! special break.👌👏👍CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
