Oh my goodness DD…the tension! As we wait for the next episode!Well I’ve been a tad remiss in posting my pleasures for no particular reason. Today would normally be a worky day but hurrah it is not yet the body clock had not been informed of this and has woken at early o’clock ( without the aid of an alarm being set)
Floors were hoovered last night Admiral PP and shall be washed again today! Dog is in seriously hairy mode so it’s a constant task. Downstairs is all floored and open plan so looks lovely when all clean and washed. Not so much when all foot/paw prints!Thursday was a lovely bright and blooming freezing day. Had a lovely walk by myself and then with doggy. We went for a scone. DD2 is using up leave before starting new job ( though has been in for a couple of training sessions) so we have more time together than usual. Had nice chat with friend on phone.Friday alarm did go off early and I went in to work for an hour first thing. We went out for lunch. Which was very nice and did not need to eat later on. Put the fire on late afternoon. Nice chat to same friend on phone!Saturday. Quiet day. Pottered around. Creating piles for upcoming trip. Sorted out flowers and pot plants were watered ( and note to self need repotted) It was an early start to the day 2.20am with a vomiting dog! Grrr! Fire on late afternoon.

Agree wholeheartedly on turmeric, I take a daily supplement and it’s really helped me arthritic knee.
Glad you enjoyed your walk DD and will look forward to the next instalment ☺️For yesterday,
Bit of a lie-in followed by lazy breakfast.
Made a search for some shoe glue that I knew had been purchased last year and finally found it in the shoe polish box, sensible place really! My yard boots have a seam coming apart.
Gentle mooch with my big girl, ground far too hard to do anything else but walk around the fields.
Home and another mooch, this time with small dog and beloved, lovely afternoon with lots of sun but cold when sun went down. Home and listened to 2nd half of footie, another win for United.
Tea was meatballs in tomato sauce & pasta, red wine for the pot and me!10 -
Socks are an endangered speices! On bored, they walk themselfs!
Snorker Casserole and with chips as well!
OddBox?
DD Wes no mention the football. Zip it Frith!
Pottered!
Someone else on the termites! Does not forgets the vitamins as well!Washed Out!
We weres out last night for supper, and mes discount card was obliged! Average though and fiery waters were taken. Popped inn too the suprlus store and they had some matchmakers on offer. Nice treat.
Up for the Sunday Brunch of snorker, best back, mushrooms, toms and poached egg on hot buttered crumpet! Tea as well!
Then out to wash the muck off the wheels, and found it was actually a white car! Checked tires and the levels! All set for the Albatross to have a crack at the land speed record in the morning!
Now sat watching the SA cricket with me mug of tee.
Jen does her XXXXX

Evening all - thanks so much for the good wishes. He is a different person than he was a few days ago
Pleasures for yesterday and today
1. Sorting out DD's new house - buying paint, ordering a bed (with money we'd saved for her that she didn't know about - you can't skimp on a bed, IMO), buying some lights and bits and bobs, and picking up an armchair and table and chairs from a nearby chazzer
2. going out to celebrate new beginnings (even though her moving out is a bit sad as she is unlikely to live with us again - which is as it should be, I know)
3. suspending 'dry january' for the evening and drinking my share of a delicious italian red
4. finished the tourist - i won't comment in case people haven't finished it yet.
5. painting painting - i am various shades of pink. should be done tomorrow.
6. DD bought a washing machine and a fridge freezer for about £100 the pair through FB marketplace (so glad she isn't set on having all new)
7. looking forward to steak for tea.
8. OH and I were craving a 'Freddo' cos i was (for some bizarre reason) talking about it yesterday - so i bought us all one. The itch was scratched.
Have a great evening all.I wanna be in the room where it happens10 -
Pleasures for today (Sunday)
1) A lie in,
2) Hens OK.
3) Went to Sainsburys in the afternoon and got all the ingredients for the Blood Sugar Diet (starting tomorrow). Came home and made a meal plan.
4) Made a roast dinner plus fruit salad for tea.
5) Got £10 off my next Oddbox delivery as I've "introduced" my sister to it. If anyone wants to try it, I can do a referral thing and we both get £10 off the next box.
6) About to phone my school friend.
7) Will watch Pottery Throwdown later.
BoP - A photo of me at the football. I'm the one in the white jumper with the much larger smaller son in the grey.

1) a wee bit stiff this morning after yesterday's walk, soon sorted with a nice long soak in a bubbly bath
2) remembered to let the Provost know it was mum's 82nd birthday so we all sang happy birthday, with the pastoral musician's glorious organ playing, at the end of the service
3) took mum for lunch at the Botanics then back to hers for cake (it's a Fisher Donaldson Burns Cottage - that timorous beastie is anything but wee if it's to scale 🤣)
4) lovely evensong, joined by a friend I haven't seen for too long, courtesy of lockdown
5) then made a yummy 'kedgeree' (inverts cos it had a few extras as my cooking always does! so that's the end of the jar of salsa finished hooray) and now dyeing my hair and listening to classicfm.

Fab cake DD
For yesterday,
Slow start, even small dog seemed reluctant to leave her cosy bed.
Got a beef stew in the oven and then had a cupboard tidy, one of the things I found was a mini Panettone, festive purchase had forgotten about so made a small bread & butter pudding for dessert.
Mended my yard boots plus attempted to seal a crack in a pair of much loved summer sandals, will see.
Finally watched the new Mary Poppins film, recorded over Christmas, pleasant enough for a Sunday afternoon.
A few games of Yahtzee then watched the new series with Vicky McClure.
