Today’s pleasures:
Sunny ☀️ morning so Walk in local park with OH and saw 3 friends there and had a good chat.
Reward was supposed to be a bacon roll but cafe was very busy so had bacon 🥓 sarnies at home instead.
Washing almost dry on line.
Roast pork with roasties cooked in the fat and lots of veggies (including sprouts Admiral) for dinner followed by homemade apple 🍏 sponge (using last of own grown apples) and ice cream. Nice glass of red wine 🍷.
Watched and enjoyed Ladies in Lavender, partly filmed in our beloved Cadgwith Cove.

Hope your eldest’s eye is ok now Frith.
For yesterday,
Up early and watched MOTD on repeat just to see us beat the Magpies again, our ex-player Dion Dublin was beside himself with glee. We have DD’s Luton at home in the next round.
Bacon butties and catching up on all things Ambridge.
Listening to DID followed by ISIHAC whilst pottering around the house.
Roast chicken for lunch, then I popped over to see my girlie while Capt S walked small dog.

DH is going stir crazy- thankfully we have a big garden.
1. The shed in the garden which was in the verge of falling down has been put into the skip.
2. The contents of the shed has been either saved it put into the new skip. The garden looks so much bigger without it in. May put pots into the area until we redesign the garden.
3. Chat with neighbour over the fence.
4. Leftover Indian for tea.
5. Made bread with a bread maker I had been given. It was very successful.11 -

Had roast beef from the xmas thing for dinner yesterday, with mashed spuds and things. Of course, pan gravy! Then some xmas pud as well. I thinks this year the pud may not make the end of the month! Still enriched with the bourbon!
Watched another flix last eve. Kicking & Screaming Waters and cheeses were taken. Kitty had her treats as well!
Had me usual honey monster for breakfast and saw the Albatross off to her work. Now news on whether she got close to my land speed record, though as it is a Monday, she is milk monitor, so I doubt it!
Got a treat today, a small trifle to go with my mug of tea! Watching the bash again!
Jen sends her usual buzz!
Keep Safe
Oh look, one of St. Cyrs again!
I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!11 -
1. Really good family service yesterday, despite 5 of the young cast of dramatised Babushka story suddenly forced to isolate. K and & given birthday candles.
2. Rare away rugby match for &. So glad I went. Very good Scream'n'shout 🦚🏉😁. Ref was being referee'd too - and failed. Shocking stuff. Nonetheless, a gritty, tough 29-17 to us - great and essential win, despite him.
3. Treated to🍷there, then back at Club. Long 3 train delay at Foxton rail crossing. 7 trains for Men's minibus apparently!
4. Enjoyed Thermos, sun, reading and afternoon on The Gallops yesterday.
5. Frith - heard all about your team en rte>Harpenden - a good 5mins' chat on R5👏- and all about little Town of Gown, too. Double round⚽️ball giant-killing triumphs indeed! 😃

Good afternoon
The patio door replacement was pretty painless. Fine, dry weather and finished by lunchtime. Then they kindly moved the furniture back so DH didn't have to lift.
Did mean my enforced day of laziness became half a day but , needless to say, I found plenty to do in the afternoon!
Back to yoga today after many weeks off. Will be aching tomorrow I'm sure, but I enjoyed it.
Following Father Brown chat I got a sort of compendium on kindle for £0.00. Started reading it already and it's as good as I remembered.
Watched Monty Don in the Adriatic and now I want to go back to Venice!
Happy Monday everyone11 -

Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Did catch a bit of Father Brown, quite by chance! Mark Williams went to school with 2 former colleagues of mine and they couldn't understand why, once famous, he started putting on a Brummie accent.
2) Hens OK.
3) House pretty clean and tidy.
4) Bigger son's eye is pretty much better.
5) Had salmon and pasta for tea and made some flapjacks. I need to go on the Blood Sugar Diet but can't get into the right state of mind.
6) Good to see our football team popping up on the television all over the place! Even good old Gary Lineker played a clip during half time (I think) of the Man Utd game. Just waiting for the tickets to be released. You can only buy them if you bought tickets for the earlier rounds of the FA Cup so thank goodness we have been to all of them! We're going to a league match tomorrow (5th at the moment in the National League North).11 -
