3.  underlay under the carpet , makes it comfy to walk in socks ! 

4. The crate - was using as 3 minute punishment for Remi eating the plaster of the wall but we figured it was 99% due to him being over tired so now it's for napping. (We tried positive reinforcement but not worked for 4 weeks) . Remi crate trained himself pretty much over the weekend !!

5. Cuddles with Remi 

6. Cuddles with Boo 

7. Chinese food 

8. Medicine for bad toes - I have 2 very infected ingrown toe nails and first day I've felt relief from antibiotics 

9. Kong Wuuba Comet toy for Remi, he lives it and Remis sooo happy and proud of it... he prances around with it showing it off to us 🤣🤣 also a good distraction from walls at some points 

10. Coffee

11. Feeling like we are getting back to our old routine but with our new fur baby, Remi
12. Boo sleeping on the floor to hug me at night because I've missed sleeping next to him. It's because Remi used to sleep with us since we got him on  December 6th 2021 but In the early hours of boxing day, remi had a screaming fit to the point where we thought it was a seizure.  He bit my husband (Boo) and didn't let go during the episode so we took remi to sleep in the playpen which is in the diner part of our livingroom/diner  and we slept on the sofa incase it happened again so we could comfort. He had it 5 more times after that on  the following days. So we've been sleeping down here still since comforting him in a low calm voice helsp break him out. He's stopped for 4 days now as we've played relaxing music at night to help him relax .  Tomorrow we will go back to the bedroom. Vets were contacted about the fits but they said it was behavioural , could be many things or could just be over stimulation and will snap out of it... Praying tomorrow he will sleep soundly still in our bed

Camping out in the bedroom whilst the patio door is replaced.  It's a lovely bright day but still a bit nippy with the door removed !

Bala - hoping mum continues to do well.  You're really having more than your fair share of worries. Hugs x

Frith - talking of worries !! Bigger son needs a whole category to himself! Hopefully his eye will be ok now.

Re Father Brown - I used to love the books but somehow have missed the tv programme.  Will check that out.  And also look for the books.  It must be 50+ years since I read them so I think I will have forgotten whodunit.

Right, a day of enforced laziness awaits.  Oh dear.  Never mind.

Day 6 and my LFD is -ve. if tomorrow is -ve i can at least go walk the dogs!!!  and take my empty jars to the bottle bank at the end of the road. blown away by my lovely neighbours who have been so generous in their good wishes and offers of support. so far in my enforced laziness i have replenished the bird feeders and sorted their water, cleaned my bedroom, had another sausage-free cooked breakfast (sorry admiral), decluttered 14 freezer clips that i never use cos they're too small (d'oh) and now my washing is ready to go out on the line. 12:30 I will of course be following Luton admiral.

Galley Mess!

Well we did has ours Brunchfest yesterday, with Snorkers!, and the usual and wes introduced the Poached Egg on hot toasted buttered marmite crumpet! Yous nows has too try for your selfs. Theres bee some debate on the cocking of the poached egg in my rag yesterday, saying slide the thing off a ladle! No No No No No No No! Egg cracked unto a cup, then ceremoniously dropped into simmering water for 3 minutes. Perfect squirty every time! End of!

Then has a laze day, as the proper football team had no game, still not talking to Friths about it!

Did the chicken satay for supper, served with some fiery fizzy waters and chesses! Watched another free one, from my impersonal bankers, Chips: Law and Disorder original Ponch was in it as well! Kitty had her treats!

Up early for me honey monster in ice cold milk, buttered crumpet and tea! Now withs me mug of tea watching the bash!

And day one of workety work is done! 

Rubbish sleep as had heartburn and in tidying out my vanity unit midweek I’d got rid of antacid so had to suffer and fell asleep upright. Anyway I’ve just purchased a bottle and had a swig as soon as I got in the car! 

In at work early but had a nice ( wet) doggy walk before that. Just us and the birds. 

Work was done and dusted and decent tips. 

Have popped dinner in the oven and went for my hot shower and jammies ! Have to do it all again tomorrow ( had the month of December Mondays off using up annual leave. Anyway …half the working week is done! 

Lovely welcome home from my doggy.

1) did a lfd which was negative so progress is made
2) dd2 and i sorted all the Christmas decs, saved the ones we wanted into 2 boxes, now labelled with Christmas (I know, imaginative to the last...)
3) and the same with Halloween decs (just one small box, labelled Halloween obvs) and put away in newly cleared out cupboard
4) 4-0 admiral. we're off to Cambridge next and Leicester is off to West Bridgford.
5) someone told me it's apricot day today - found some apricot brandy, a present from mum unopened. now opened and one small glass being very slowly consumed while watching call the midwife. will then go to bed with the Thursday Murder Club. Back to work tomorrow.

Pleasures for today (Sunday)

1) A lie in.

2) Hens OK.

3) Made tacos for tea, which I hadn't had since I was in the US in 1984.

4) We will be playing West Ham next month. 

5) Just phoned my school friend.

6) Will go to bed and watch Pottery Throwdown just now.
