Sorted out freezer and batch cooked bolognese sauce in slow cooker.  One of my best.

Finally working out Sky Q and enjoying a series based on true story.  Think they made a film too.  'For Life'

Another bomb shell in my life.  Cannot share as it's not my story to tell but affects me and my family greatly.  Am devastated.  For all of us.

Saw my first cherry blossom yesterday.  Most unusual, but not surprising.

Abundance.  Warm house, good food, Tiggy, ........my own teeth !

For yesterday,

Early trip into horsey town for supplies, nicely quiet.

Took down decorations, bye bye tree. Did leave up winter themed mantlepiece in DR and plenty of candles in LR.

Made a loaf.

Listened to footie, our game was stopped for a considerable time due to someone being taken ill in crowd, heard the good news later that they were stable in hospital.

Stuffed peppers for tea, quizzing night on tv and we also watched 24 hours in Police Custody, pretty harrowing.

Mhagster - that's a lot of days in solitary confinement.  Saturday is on its way though.

Bala - sorry to hear of more problems in your life. I hope it is resolved speedily

Life is gradually settling down here.  No more visits from district nurse due.  DH recovering slowly.

Dining table now holds new, individually wrapped,  syringes, needles, tubes for drips etc. To be thrown away! I wish I could get them to somewhere that needs them. 

Took all decorations down yesterday and DD's partner lifted tree into garden. It still looks very healthy so may survive to be used next year.

The wreath is still by the front door.  I think I may remove very Christmassy things and leave it a bit longer.

It is 11 years today that my beautiful,brave DD died ,of course the pleasures are that she lived but I so,so wish she still was .

Have finally completely sorted DH premium bonds ,I found (on Sunday!!) a helpful advisor and we sorted it ,this morning I transferred the money into bonds in my name .
DH was v lucky and won something most months .I bet ,now they’re in my name they don’t win a bean !
be interesting to see what happens in March .

For some reason I feel the need to get all the financial details together to give to DS ,so I am.
also started sorting the bungalow.

hoping to go for a coffee with friends and will talk to DS and family today .

make the most of every minute with your loved ones ,we never know what is round the corner( probably just as well)

and now I'm very +ve (LFD) so have just trotted down to the walk through centre for my PCR. DD2 -ve but since we share a house also PCRd. so far no obvious symptoms, was due to go for a haircut, she has very kindly booked me in for day 11 (Scotland we have to self-isolate for 10 days assuming my PCR is +ve) Mhags you nearly out of the sin bin yet? I am not due to go back to work till Monday but if I stay clear of symptoms think I'll postpone those 3 days and work through - we are all working at home anyway. DD2 bought more masks on way home and I am fortunate that I have an en suite so can easily isolate from her. She has given me permission to go play the piano so long as i wear a mask to go to the music room
