Hello. And that’s work done with 😊 hurrah!Rubbish sleep so up and about early . Went out with the doggy when it was still darkish but very foggy. We actually did a bit of running ( I use the word very loosely but I did a kind of run rather than walk between lampposts and things like bollards and electricity box things) no idea where the notion came from but there we go! )
Walk to work in the fog and walk back in the almost dark.Forecast was for nice so I hung a washing out in the foggy darkness this morning.Okay tips. Good company at work today which makes for a good shift.Oh my poor starving puppy! And bursting for a wee, boy! Thankfully your mummy is now here to look after you! ( DD2 was snoozing!) he’s currently following my every move.13 -

Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Did a day of invigilation at school for mock exams. Took leek and potato soup that I made yesterday.
3) Smaller son had to let himself out of the house and walk to the taxi alone, as I had left about 10 minutes before. He managed that then it sounds like he had a good day. He walked to the station to get some newspapers for college and played table tennis with the deputy head!
4) Hens OK.
5) In bed now with 1 hwb.
From yesterday - anyone who remembers Eddie Kidd, catch up with last night's Top Gear...12 -
PK come clear my inbox!
1) first meeting - at the botanics cafe, colleague i haven't seen for too long and phd student - lovely

Sunday evening, DS appeared for a cuppa and to eat all our biscuits.
I like a day when I've seen them both and know they're both ok.
Yoga cancelled yesterday so went to garden centre with friend for coffee and more cake!
Started Christmas Chronicles again. Have put a Nigel Slater book on my Christmas wish list. Don't mind which.
DH birthday today. Will be low key, but out for tea with DD

Thank you for the reminder to dig out my Christmas Chronicles HappyCas.
For yesterday,
Food shopping and have been picking up a few festive bits week by week, this time is was chocolates, so pleased to find our usual QS in a tin instead of plastic container.
Call from delivery driver, can I come earlier than stated slot, oh and where are you? All received ok, not OS but we have a new rug in the dining room and am v pleased with it.
Dropped some books off at local cattery which has a bookshop attached, picked up a few too and pile on bedside table is reassuringly high again.
Watched a bit of the footie then Uni Challenge.
Technically it was today but woke up in the early hours and the nearly full moon was setting, red in colour.11 -
Email, just goes to spam folder and two days later are gone forever!
HC! No problem, normal service today!
Botanics Cafe? Does it serve fiery fizzy waters?
Gamon with egg and pineapple! Does pineapple belong on the pizza?
Red Moon!
Back on Bored!
Well nearly! Took the Albatross to her work this morning, it was dark, foggy! Then home to update the token count for the vouchers, free!
Had chicken Chinese in chilli sauce last night, with chopped mushrooms, poodles, and sliced peppers! Very tasty, then a bowl of raspberries with ice cream. That leaves another mice pie for tonight!
Watched the football last night until it got to three nil and gave up! Fruit juices and cocoa was taken! I take proper cocoa, the one from Bourneville proper, not the foamed packet version. Good for you as well!
As I said earlier, we bought our Empress a throne for her to use, and she really does enjoy it. When I got back from taking the Albatross to her work, she was proudly sat on it surveying her empire!
Now going to get my mug of tea and a couple of cakes of Jaffa!
Tonight I shall be at the gym preparing to get beach ready for a tour!
Jen sends a buzz
Keep safe.
For ease of understanding of my post, some words are deliberately changed to protect the innocent!I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!11 -
Pleasures for yesterday....
1. A pinkish tone to the morning air, very wintery.
2. Choir was fun as usual. Got ticket for my son for up and coming performance.
3.Remainder of home made tomato and bean soup (packed with vegetables) for lunch, tastes better the more it stands.
4.Caught up on Shetland, What We Do In The Shadows, and Escape to the Chateau. All this because of number 5
5. Had to stay up to collect son from station at 22:30 after his weekend away in Germany.
6. Delightful sight of dog's reaction when she saw who had just come in the door. One life - your life - live it!13 -
Hello.Well it was supposed to be get your new car day …but it turned out not to be!Dog and I had a lovely long walk this morning. Much sniffing but I had my headphones on ( just in one ear though) so I was quite happy listening as he was sniffing.Potter potter as I couldn’t go far.Chatted to mum on phone. Chatted to sister on phone briefly, my great nephew and nephew had just arrived at here so it was a very quick chat and GN didn’t want to say hello to his great auntie but did say goodbye!Watched the last episode of Angela Black.Sorted out the cupboards in my laundry room.sigh…so many plain glass candle jars I’d hung on to for goodness knows what reason so they’ve been recycled. Sorted out the napkins…a few years ago friends from Oz sent me a gazillion packets for my Christmas, so they’re still going strong! Anyway all much tidier and I even threw the four year old tube of polyfilla out!
Watched the birds in the garden. I’ve put a little feeder on my patio doors and the bluet!ts have been coming down and taking a sunflower seed at a time. Mr Robin sat atop my garden mirror and popping through a gap in the fence, over and over and over again. And then the sparrows and starlings munching on the fat balls.DD2 & her beau currently self isolating until they’re told otherwise ( hopefully know by tomorrow) hence me not going far.Nice dinner. Chicken korma.House all twinkly with fairy lights and candles.14
