Nothing out of date. Mustard was use by 2019! Still going strong though!
Digs! with some Quince jelly!
Pork and pickle! Should that be cheese and pickle?
Breakfast leftovers!
Not Ship Shape?
Had prawn poodles for dinner last night and it was tasty tasty tasty! Served with cut mushrooms and sliced peppers in sweet and sour sauce!
Watched Airplane II after as well, long reversion this week. Doubt they would make it today as the warnings were made for the too correct! Fiery fizzy waters were taken and cheese consumed!
Booked the wheels in for some new tyres prior to its MoT, all on the DDS thing as well! And more off!
Walked around town and had a pizza in spoons! Actually, quite good as well, and free refills of tea! Mugs as well! Tum was rubbed. The Albatross left me in the man cave!
Now watching the cricket before the gym! Bring it home! (Apologies to &) Oh just as a kiwi fumbles!
Jen gives a buzz!

Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Bigger son went to the Christmas market and Thinktank (not back yet).
3) Smaller son had a good day at college (3 in a row!) and played table tennis, there was pulled pork for lunch and just a general lack of complaints from him.
4) I did an online museum course that was pretty good and hopefully will refresh my memory ready for my interview next week. My dad suddenly appeared halfway through (he didn't know I was doing a course) so viewers from across the Midlands would have seen him hopping up and down behind me, trying to take his wellingtons off!
5) Smaller son's Occupational Therapist phoned and that is always interesting. I had to laugh when she said his gait is to do with having "very low muscle tone and a heavy head" !! No wonder he enjoys lying down so much. I always think they will have some dramatic and fast acting solution but it is just more cookery for fine motor skills and more sports for gross motor skills. Sometimes they get very excited that he is ambidextrous but not today. She was a bit unimpressed that nothing is being sorted out for when he leaves college so will be contacting them to find out why not. I have tried that a few times...
6) We popped to Sainsburys (a smaller son favourite)
7) LO shepherds pie for tea.12 -
Hello from cosy cosy!Been another nice day. Blue sky and sunshine.Absolutely rubbish sleep.Have had a day of ticking lots of things of my list that I wanted to get done. So a tidy house.A lovely chat with DD1. Always much laughter.Lovely doggy walks.Made a nice chicken and vegetable pie anf roast parsnips for tea.Watched a tiny mouse ( eeek!) scurry about thankfully outside my patio doors. Never seen one here before. Hope it was just visiting.Candles on and being cosy, shiny sliver of a moon in the sky.Just had a delivery of The River Cottage Christmas book. A treat for me from me. I never really buy new books but I’m worth it😆 and I’ll just pop my tips in the bank to cover the cost.
Today was just a day for me which I needed and enjoyed.13 -

3. watched a Christmas film to try and kick start some festive feeling
4. sorted some more books out to sell
5. after Hermes turned up I took the puppy out for a walk

1) another good night's sleep, another spring out of bed and a 30 minute workout, this time watching 2nd episode of The Tower (multi-tasking lol)
2) a meeting with the boss finished early so walked the dogs, taking a misposted letter to a neighbour's
3) dd2 back from Liverpool for a long weekend - walked the boys down to meet her (advantage of working at home and having a flexible work round meetings)
4) then called in on friend on way back and had a cuppa and a biccie (it was his 80th on Friday)
5) worked till 9 then watched 3rd episode of The Tower - thought it was really good laineyt
And now I'm off to bed. Tomorrow is another day.

Very good DD and left open I felt for another series, do now feel compelled to read the book.
For yesterday,
Very different weather wise, grey and murky so much more like November, cheered ourselves up with scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast.
My cleaning blitz continues, this time downstairs, small dog crept upstairs to escape the dreaded hoover.
Dug out some soup from freezer for lunch, unlabelled but turned out to be chicken.
Over to see my girl, fetched her in and have her a good groom.
Watched and enjoyed last episode of the Tower, let small dog out for last garden visit of the day and the mist was laying across the ground but stars still visible above.

Shepherd's pie, Chicken and Veg Pie, Spag Bol! Beef Casserole. Scramble eggs on toast!
Sewing!
Too early for xmas film, Bah Humbug!
LT, when you finished the cleaning, quarter deck needs a bit of a scrub!
Springs out of bed, tea and a biscuit!
Fog Horn!
Well at last age has bought up with the Admiral! I vacuumed the fan in the heads, so I switched it off at the isolator about three bells ago! Well, the Albatross has been using it for her morning rituals since. I go in there this morning to check my beard and find he fan not working! Ooops, the Albatross thoughts I did that deliberately, but I had forgotten to switch it back on. All sorted now!
Had Chinese for dinner last night, mushrooms with sliced peppers, with some chicken severed with fake saffron rice! Then some raspberries and ice cream, because we can!
Watched another reversion film last night, The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! Doubt they would make the same today! Had fruit juices and cheese!
Bought Empress a cat stand. She is happy and well fed and watered! She is in her tail down mode at the moment! That means she is not keen on her lawn walks!
Had the toasted golden flakes of corn in ice cold milk this morning!
Now I have, wait for it. Two cakes of Jaffa and a mug of tea!
Jen sends a buzz!
Oh, award letter has arrived. Manna is coming!
Remember them!I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!11 -
oh boy I'm tired.
1) up early as needed to be 'in' Sri Lanka at 7:45 to facilitate workshop - was great fun
2) had made vegetable soup with barley yum yum and as day was online right up till 9 with very short breaks had soup for breakfast, lunch, tea and supper.
3) managed a short dog walk at 4:30 - saw Dr M doing his run going the other way - waved
4) dd2's friend had made some fudge - called a 5 min comfort break in the middle of the 7 - 9 meeting (I was chairing) and found 2 bits left for me in the kitchen which were very welcome
5) now watching Dagleish. Haven't seen it before so, courtesy of my 5, watching episode 1 series 1
Then I shall go to bed and fall asleep to episode 2 series 1 of The Cold Swedish Winter

In my teaching / workshops I ask participants to rate with of a scale they identify with. Today, preparing for an 11:15 lecture (I had asked for the 15 mins delay in start being the 11th) on Quality Assurance I came across this. Didn't use it for the students but feel this has been me this week...
Monday morning:
