1 I bought a set of thermals for us both when we were last at Costco, as DH is really feeling the cold this year. He tried the top for the first time this weekend and he’s smitten and surprised by how effective they are, so am I to be honest I just thought it’s another layer.
2 Not sure this is a pleasure but I set to sanding all the upstairs skirting, doorways, windowsill and all the stair parts, hoovered up, white spirited tomorrow is masking and glossing, I will be happy when I’ve done it all, I have cussed a lot today as paint flaked away where it wasn’t supposed to but when it’s done I can get the carpet ordered up.
3 Dh is getting on with repairing the run roof.
4 I meal planned for the next few days and as I am cooking a roast today, I am also cooking up tomorrows food in the heat as well, hopefully a little bit economical and nice to know I don’t have to faff about tomorrow.
5 The postman delivered a tie dye top I ordered on a big discount and it is much better than I expected. I will get it in the other colour (er for DH to give as a Christmas pressie for me)

hello to the newbies hello to the old hands (thought 'oldies' didn't sound so good)
1) out of bed after a super long sleep and did a 30 minute workout - felt good as did the shower after
2) Dr M had messaged to say he too was in the clear and had I read the whole email or just the 3 bullets - phoned him as decided quicker to phone than read - we had a fun chat till I had to go for my first online meeting of the day
3) after work made bangers and mash pie - very yummy and since there's only me at home at the mo 3 more servings for me, unless I'm feeling piggy in which case only 2 😋
4) dd2 phoned - she's having a lovely time on her dad's houseboat - her brother has been down and they come back to Scotland together on Wednesday then she's here till Sunday
5) then episode 3 of Outlaws - am watching them on the right evening but a bit earlier cos now I am off to bed. New book to start tonight. Or maybe just zzzzzzzMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

5. Good journey home.
For Monday

For yesterday,They have started an archaeological dig in one of the fields next to the cottage ahead of proposed building work, they did some last year and unearthed foundations etc so exciting to see them back.
Into horsey town for provisions and to pick a parcel.
Went over to see my girlie, happy bunny in her field so carrots & cuddles and then left her to it, want her to just enjoy being out again before starting any work.
Made bread and did some general tidying, got a lovely message from my DN who flies out to the US today.
Made a macaroni cheese for tea, followed by more of the treacle tart then settled down to watch the quizzes on BBC2.12 -
Skint Yet Again-
I think you're right re: merging needed.

1. Straight off, 'cos they're just over - and available on catch-up , the joy of another Jeremy Front-adapted Simon Brett, with 💗Bill Nighy as Charles Paris. Fabulous:

AND the glorious Daliso Chaponda:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00114c9
Just wonderful and very funny, very true.
2. A very Happy birthday to someone for whom we feared, now recovering steadily, wisely, patiently and well.
3. Multiple emporium rtcs last night❤. All excellent, worthwhile 25ps, from over £2. Lainey - it's definitely with the nasty refit not working and footfall down, meaning loads of unsolds. 2 staff members said so, but we'll whisper that. Ridiculous absences and overpricing, too. Anyway, 2 appreciated lots dropped off en route back.👏
3. Osp 2 included 7 bags of limes, 35 of them! and a huge one of 10 beautiful lemons, total £2, now underway for more fabuloso marmalade. 6.5lbs prepped to go.
4. Big fruit mix mulching in last of rum and new brandy for an & crimbo cake(might as well have one here🙂) and a bi-i-i-g pudding for 🏉Club crimbo in a phab big red Lakeland pudding bowl, bnib. No idea where it came from or how long ago, but saw it in no.1 shed a while back. All sorts of fruit, including mango and soft medjool dates, which looked very like moules alongside in freezer😁
5. Little robin, def. &'s wonderful little chap. We've been talking to each other lots over the last few days. So, so close yesterday as & replenished feeders, within a foot of &'s hand. Intensely looking, questioning, right under the grapevine, so & suspects he had this year's not-a-lot🍇 That's fine,😃.

Don’t worry [Deleted User] ,I for one ,rival you in the least technically able stakes .
1 Car has ( just ) passed its MOT !Booked in for brakes week after next when I’m back from my Oxford trip .
2 that I realised MOT due ,it seems when they transferred the service agreement etc to me in the summer someone managed to lose all the details ! Hence no notifications of it being due .No idea what made me check .Seems we’re not the only ones technically challenged!
3 many apologies ,sorted and squeezed in today
I really miss Dh he did all this and even last year was reminding me,I was the legs and he was the Brain car wise
That sounds wrong ,I miss him terribly all the time not just re car !
4 finally feeling much better after UTI and Covid B reaction .
5 DGD back for reading week and we are shortly going to shopping village and will have lunch as well.I’m so looking forward to seeing her and hopefully hearing about her adventures in Brum
