3) Tidied up vaguely. The paintbrushes and rollers hadn't dried overnight so I had to have a day off from painting.
4) Smaller son and I popped to Sainsburys this afternoon.
5) Phone call with my school friend.
6) Watched Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.11 -

For yesterday,
Up early and a cool, misty walk with small dog.
Quick trip over to the stables to drop off girlie’s newly waterproofed rug ahead of today’s forecasted downpours, walked out to her field to giver her an apple and tucked a couple of bits of carrot into her teatime hay-net for a surprise treat later.
Roast pork dinner and then binged watched All Creatures Great and Small as we are still on first series.
A tiny wren sitting on the side of the old well, such busy little birds.
Watched and enjoyed the newest episode of Endeavour, very Christie like!

For yesterday:
1. Yesterday DH finally tied in the rest of the wisteria over the pergola and managed to mow half the lawn, he will do the other half in the week (it's a huge lawn!). I think the ride on mower will be running on fumes but can't bring myself to fill a jerry can for fear of looking like a panic buyer.
2. Food - roast (ish...veggie sausages) for dinner went down well and I even found time to prep veg for homemade swede and potato pasties tonight (costs pennies and delicious, will serve with beans!)
3. Bit of a sad one.I pulled everything out of the fridge, scrubbed it and packed it again. Even though the shopping came yesterday it looks half full! Which is probably about right as we have carefully mealplanned. I then reorganised all our food cupboards. So satisfying.
4. Watching Confessions of a Shopaholic and eating chocolate with DD after toddler went to sleep.
5. Toddler slept well (for him). Woke at about 12 briefly, then 4, and grizzled a bit a couple of times but I only had to properly wake at 12 and 4. Usually DH does nighttime stuff as I'm pregnant but he was working last night from 7-12 so I did it so he could get some decent sleep before he logged on again for the morning (they have developers in India doing a release of something and he has to be online in case something goes wrong, poor sod).11 -

Came up smelling of roses!
M&M. I can see your dirty washing!
Bet the hens did not like the chicken nuggets!
Fizzy waters Ms DD! Oh sugar it, wobbelades then!
Rant!
Did I miss something over the weekend? How gullible the public has come when led on by a hyped up media! I realise now why I only watch UC on the main oggle box, and that through the play back features! I suppose soon they will be full of b list non entities dancing on the ice whil requesting that we again empty our pockets to fill their coffers! The 138th richest nation in the orld based on income! Rant over!
Dropping Anchor
Went off on Friday via the Lincoln to see FiL. He was cheerful, then off to Steels Corner House for the prawns, fish and chips! Getting on a bit now so no jelly and ice cream! We had forgot the tooth paste so nipped into the surplus store and got some!
Had too much (DD) Firey Fizzy water on Friday night and nearly got ...
Was supposed to be Uncle's anniversary on Saturday, but was off. So we went to Appleby's for a 99 and then some cake at Anderby Creek. Right tasty and listened to the football! DD we could be top tomorrow! Filled car with no queue on way back to the holiday room!
More Firey fizzy waters were taken on Saturday! Not as many as Friday, but kept a beat in my old heart!
Very disappointed with Grimsby area. Feels that all they have done since I left in 80 is demolish things! I doubt we will be moving back at any stage!
Went to the IBCC in Lincoln on the way home on Sunday. Gets a tad close to see stones about events I saw in person, Gulf and Falklands!
Got home to watch Arsenal! Had chow mien stir fry as selected by Ms Admiral. Empress was pleased to see us after being catsitted for the weekend!
Watched some Met Opera last night.
Took Ms Admiral to the Hospital this day, 2 years recovered from second cancer for her blood tests!
Went to the discount surplus store for supplies and water! Got some strawberries in. Chicken stir fry this evening with sweet (I am) and sour sauce.
Keep safe all!I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!10 -

M and M, what a lovely place, and not sad at all, DH thinks I'm nuts as I like seeing the dirty water after cleaning running away, okay mine does sound nuts.
1 Was able to send a photo to our vet to check something, thankfully we don’t have an emergency, on the animal note, we emailed off 5 prescriptions for meds.
2 Ordered up some flowers for SIL for her birthday in their new dream home.
3 Second coat of paint on one and a half walls, next up is the wall that has everything on yikes.
4 Bangers and mash for tea, which means l/o go into a sausage cassi tomorrow.
5 We’ve just enrolled on a British Sign Language full certified course, a lot of work but looking forward to it, it’s evening adult ed.
