Day of much done.
1. Early start collection from Trumpy emporium for Food Hub. Sorted by midday, unusually. Returned empty crates and somehow found self across the road at Scotsdales.....only 4 rtc No More Plants and NIL charity shelf books today. This is a🏅first!
2. Could not believe my eyes. Holding a particular recent cs objêt triggered thoughts of a now expat. younger friend, auctioneer, and.....all of a sudden there he was, en famille, à table extérieure in Town of Horse !!!
'&!' said he.
'W!' said &.
So, after several years, W A., a well-known and highly likeable, ditto knowledgeable telly presence is back. New life is completely away from such activity and attention and he loves it.
Such a good, happy outcome. And he loved hearing about Batley and Spen+result.😃♥️🌹
3.
1st 2 picked this evening. 1 eaten😋. Zapped with French friends' farm butter and h-g garlic.
4. Found £1, 1p, 5p and 5p. All very welcome these days. To newbies, we ospers call these reverbes😁👏, after a 1-time poster of that name whose monetary finds were prolific.
5. & prayers continue for R. and J., also mindfully for all whose situations are made known here.

A silly vain extra osp - felt good to be wearing a cs top from Batley and Spen today. I have delighted in reading reports, seeing good pics of Kim at Westminster today....sorry, yesterday!
Goodness me &! Lights out time, methinks.🙂CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

So pleased to hear that things went well for Mr PK,
If you do manage to contact BOP please pass on my best wishes DD and tell him he is sorely missed.
For yesterday,
The other day I filled a long, shallow trough with bright orange marigolds and put it on the dining room windowsill, it was a real spark of colour on a grey, Monday morning.
Out to the emporium, pleased my fav brand of fruit tea back on shelf but not a piece of fresh ginger to be seen, first world problems.
As always and probably boringly consistent but time spent with equine girlie, fresh air, exercise and a heart horse, what more could I need.
Tasty tea, Pea, Mint and Feta risotto after discovering an open bag of arborio rice when sorting out cupboard.Best, best news of all, DB sent picture of new mum and baby home, safe & sound, our family is blessed indeed.11 -
& has pm'd 2 ospers with bop's details, Lainey🙂, but your closing sentence is just the Very Best Start osp of the day!🚼❤
#
1. A strange, very hot night, with full overnight rain, still dripping here. Of course it came after & watered - again!😁 So, & is osping already.
2. A couple more Batley and Spen pleasures, drinking vessels. Oxfam find - saw that 'n' handle!😄 - for our Nutella-loving Vicar😋, plus this special one to use when walking.🌹
3. & MUST be The Other Woman today. Grape vine and sessile oak married and moved in together last year. Dissolution by secateurs shortly. Long overdue. Big chop, &.
4. Here it is, ½ an hour ago. The rogue tatoe, now stands 162cms high. Might the flowers finally open today?
5. Last osp pics, with yesterday's story -
in cs after Food Hub run, saw this one behind counter, being used as a bag for bags - as we do😄. Instant memories of last time coming back this way, via long-known, always loved, Montpellier, apart from its rugby ascendancy via the remarkable Mohed Altrad(posts passim).....so & proposal accepted. Coin in collection box. &'s new carrier bag now=France in hand, in heart, in mind, ready for next time. Call it pathetic, shallow - matters not 😁. It is right now a suitably sustaining prop and metaphor. Very happy to have it with all the ancient associations, Montpellier's and mine, 💙🤍❤

having made a delicious beetroot, carrot and ginger soup with fresh ginger and adding fresh ginger to next week's shopping list that is sad news laineyT oh and ampers is doing a fabulous sherlock job so we will see if there is news from bop
realised mhags i didn't add to my pleasures yesterday how your 'mr maybe' comment made me smile. momentarily wondered if Dr No would ever be Dr Maybe and then, for those of an Ambridge persuasion, if there's a vince out there for me 🤣🤣🤣am very certain, after nearly 9 years on my own, sharing a house would not be for me either!MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Hello. Just watched a beautiful sunset ( the sun had already risen when I woke at 6.55am …a positive lie in for me! ) though alarm has just been set for silly o’clock tomorrow as I have a wee bit to do in morning.Dealt with doggy first thing then came back to bed and read for a bit.
went out for breakfast with DD2. Then home and did a litter pick up the top half of our main estate driveway, will do the opposite end tomorrow.Had a very long chat with my sister this afternoon. 105 minutes!Hoovered upstairs and then the stairs. Obviously peaked at that point as had a snooze and woke up an hour or so later! Had started a new book but obviously didn’t get very far zzzzzz.Walked up to a friends to drop off some books and ended up in and chatting for ages…honestly was just going to hand them in and go!Walk home and then grabbed a doggy and off out we went. Then home and hoovered downstairs and washed floors.Just cleaned my bathroom. And had a potter around the garden watching the sunset and picked a bunch of lavender for the front porch. The heavy rain and battered a few flowers.11 -
Nothing much doing chez-moi today, really must get out of this slump. Had signed up for volunteer shift tomorrow but got call today to say not needed. weather forecast says will less rain tomorrow so need to get out.
Today..vacuumed upstairs and stairs.
Coughing less.
Friend sent invite to visit on Friday.
Received communication from brother.
Watched documentary on Banksy on Sky Arts...excellent programme.

Quick catch up before zzzzz oh the joys of working at home
1) mum came round for a cuppa in the morning
2) and gbf came round 3:30 so work a bit disrupted
3) walked boys with gbf then asked if he could take me for dinner but I decided to cook instead
4) which meant we could watch the tennis - I did a very nice buttery chicken
5) then he dropped me off at Mennies. Footie with dr no and mr g with dr b, mr a and his son at next table. We were allowed to stay to the end of penalties then dr no walked me home sigh. They’ll all be supporting Denmark tomorrow. We’ll see what happens

Thank you for all your kind words, they mean a lot x
For yesterday,
Cleared my ironing pile.
My DB sent more pictures of baby, don’t want to swamp the new mum but am in the queue for cuddles.
Drove out to farm shop and met two dear friends for lunch, we hadn’t seen each other for nearly a year so plenty to catch up on.
Watched the match, more like a fast paced chess game and enjoyable as a neutral.
Distinctly chilly when we went to bed so got an extra blanket out of the cupboard, who switched the summer off?!10
