Cranky - that's wonderful news.
1. Worked at different site - much better day. People so much happier and relaxed.
2. Free lunch and made use of 50p Costa coffee twice.
3. Cupboard in hall half built should be finished today.
4. Had Spanish omelette for tea and was very tasty.
5. Reading my book.3 -
Congratulations to Cranky and family.
For yesterday,
Rough night due to upset tum but things had settled enough to have tea and toast for breakfast.
Unlike me but nothing much done in the morning, watched a couple of episodes of The Great, have to say it’s pretty bizarre!
Off to the yard, pampered girlie and had a chat with fellow livery owner.
Home and hungry, another slice of toast, this time with honey on, whoop whoop.
Evening walk with beloved and small dog.8 -
Hello again
Second jab done and dusted. I even got a sticker, like a 5 year old at the dentist! I have to go to the leisure centre in the next town. Heavy traffic and tricky parking but done now.
GB Sewing Bee is back. One of my favourites. I do sew a little but am in awe of some of the things they do in a couple of hours. The two young ones seem very good this season. So skilled and precise.
DH has bought a new toy. I forget its name but it's somewhere between binoculars and a telescope. A nice neat little thing. I'm hoping to spy puffins next week at the coast. My favourites! ( possibly everyone's favourites!) There's a RSPB place about 3 miles from our caravan, and it's the right time of year. We missed them last year because we couldn't go until July!
Bacon and egg fry up type tea. Like breakfast with chips 😀
Happy 🌞 Friday everyone

Today has been a good day 😊
Met 2 friends, one of whom I have not seen for over a year, except for one passing hello.
We met at the local beautiful park and they brought their dogs.
Much catching up, a few laughs, they are both talking about retiring to different parts of the coast. Would love to do this too but we have OHs elderly parents nearby so will not be possible yet.
Some sunshine ☀️ and we were able to sit at proper picnic tables for lunch rolls from the lovely cafe, quite civilised 😊
Friday night takeaway was delicious curry, will seriously have to get my eating in check as I have put back the weight I lost at SW before the pandemic ☹️

Hello. My day started with three ducks flying overhead then ended with three ducks flying overhead! Beautiful sunrise and sunset.
In at work early. And alarm set for another early start. The pressure had dropped on boiler ( out in garage) so a very cold wash had to suffice till I got back from work then had a hot shower!Went a big walk with dog and DD1. Beautiful morning. Then felt a bit blah and headachey so spent much of afternoon reclined. Feeling yukky.
Managed to rally round and we went in to town to get some nice ice cream.Just been a quick doggy walk and saw ducks and bats!10 -
Today has had its fair share of pleasures.
Two hour session with holistic therapist, my birthday treat to me. Full body massage and facial. Soft skin and the scent of essential oils. Luxury.
Fish and chips for lunch,
Glorious sunshine most of the day,
Belated birthday gift from one branch of the family - flowers, chocolates and
Prosecco.
Chocolates and Prosecco consumed whilst watching a Harry Potter film with son.
In bed now, fresh cotton linen on bed, Classic FM playing, big ginger puddy tat curled up next to me. Life don't get much better than this. One life - your life - live it!9 -
A good day.
1. But more work done on my new cupboard and then he was called away to an emergency but decision made on a couple of small things.
2. Took some houseplants to my neighbour - an orchid and a jasmine which smelt divine for her birthday. Stayed and had a coffee in a sunny spot for a couple of hours. It was lovely sitting and talking rather than talking over the fence.
3. Sorted out some photos and some will be sent to my Aunt today. Some of my two when they were little and we used to go and visit and the boys were farmers for a couple of days. We generally went at It be end of lambing.
4. Did some more preparation of the vegetable plot in the garden. Will be able to sow seeds soon.
5. Long chat with my parents who had been out to opticians and hairdressers.10 -
Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday......
The new baby came home so my sister had a cuddle.
I have a sore knee so the doctor has arranged an xray. Xray dept rang me an hour after I came home from docs with an appointment.
Time spent with best friend doing crosswords - always fun
The HT had a haircut. It was a very long wait despite booking an appointment but it was worth it.
Online gaming and a good natter with best friend.
Take care all of you

For yesterday,
Made a loaf and soaked dried fruit ready for a tea loaf.
Bed changed and washing dried on line.
Over to the yard, hard to distinguish pony from the dust bowl she had obviously been rolling in 🙄 brushed only necessary bits and had a meander around the fields. Put her back out and she stood dozing in the sun whilst I gave her a back scratch.Made a nut loaf for tea, with roasted veggies.
Getting into a freshly made bed and snuggling down to read my book.11 -
Good afternoon
Best day yet. Sunny and warm, with no cold wind.
Went with DH for his second vaccine today. Very smoothly done again. The whole organisation has been amazing.
DD came round for choc ice and then cuppa in the garden. So nice to be warm enough to sit outside without shivering.
Have watered the drive with patio cleaner stuff. The area where the car usually stands is green! The cleaner was half price so very mse.
Off to make a chocolate brownie to have with ice cream for pudding. Kofta kebabs and Med veg for main course. Might even sit outside if it's still warm enough.
Happy 🌞Saturday everyone10
