Sorry Nargle and Ampersand 😘
I can see why people love them and i do like most of the songs - just not in a row!I wanna be in the room where it happens9 -
For yesterday,
A welcome lie-in followed by the inevitable boiled egg and marmite soldiers, I am nothing if not a creature of habit!
Pamper session for equine girlie, how pleased will I be when shedding season is over, then we had a wander around the paddocks, good to be outside and the honey buzzards were riding the thermals above our heads.
Planted up a couple of trays of cosmos seeds and put them on the spare room windowsill to germinate.
Again a 90+ minute winner for United and we are back on top with a record breaking goal to boot, happy days.
Finally watched new episode of LOD.

Good morning
I have never seen such beautiful eggs, ampersand. Please forgive my ignorance. Are they hens' eggs? Is it a. special sort of hen? ( It clearly is very special indeed ) I love them.
A grey day here.
Met DD in park yesterday. One good thing that's come from last year is our regular outside meetings. She works in an office and said how good it is to see the new growth everywhere, which she wouldn't normally notice.
Letters, multiple, from the OPG to say the the Lasting Power of Attorney is going through the due process. I'm so pleased/relieved. I think I'd been holding my breath waiting to see if I'd done it properly!
Watched the last one of the last series of Keeping Faith to prepare for the new series. Looking forward to it, and not just for the lovely shoes, and coats!
Downloaded A Shropshire Lad on kindle. I did have a copy but can't find it ( well, it is a slim book!). I'm enjoying reading a little at a time.
Happy spring-forward day everyone

Hello. Workety work day one done.Anyway the day is done ( not helped by having to be up even earlier as clocks went forward. Doggy walk was in the dark . Same time last week we were away over the fields in the early morning light.Came home to let him out and feed him then headed back in to do some forward planning. But was just over an hour so not too bad.Hot shower and jammies on. It’s so cold and wild and wet and windy here. Bit scared to look and see what my greenhouse is doing after picking it up for the umpty-thump time yesterday.
Was in at work early yesterday morning for a couple of hours. Did a bit in the garden in between showers. Re-seeded lawn. Moved garden sofa . Picked up greenhouse again! Filled log basket. Put extra long hose in the log shed. Friend popped over so nice to chat with her in a socially distant way. She made me laugh with some of her work tales. Had a very brief chat with the boyo. Instead of looking for something in the garage I phone him to ask him if he took it with him. He had so saved myself a rake! And hey it’s 7.45pm and still light so I suppose that hour is worth it.ETA greenhouse is down! Gah!11 -
Frith, Cranky.....you ok ?
April 12th will be taking my brother home. He is ready and willing. I cannot wait to see my family. It has been a very long winter with many challenges (not least freezing for a period of time) but I have made what I think are firm decisions and am clearer on where I want to take my life. This is a huge pleasure (although a painful process) because I have come to this very late in my life. Much work to do.
Tiggy at vets this Wednesday.
Mr T's jacket potatoes. 29p for 4. Marvelous !
'Love your weekend with Alan Titchmarsh'. Equally marvelous.

2. Arranged afternoon tea at The Ritz with my parents and sisters for my Mum's 80th birthday - not till September but all booked in.
3. Went to a garden centre and a few plants brought.
4. Much gardening done. Enjoyed listening to the birds.
5. No takeaway this week. Some money saved and healthier food.

Happy birthday, Mhags 🎂🎈🎁🎉
Pleasures for yesterday
1. DS got up ok for his early shift despite the clock change (I, however, had been awake since 4.15 new time).
2. Hoovered the cars
3. Exchanging messages with a long lost cousin about ancestry stuff - and tracing more ancestors.
4. made a veggie curry for tonight's tea - used up some rather wrinkly veg.
5. lighter nights
Have a great day all - i'm off to go and do my shopping (rather than click and collect) for the first time in about 6 months.I wanna be in the room where it happens11
