5 OS pleasures in your day today - part 3

Hello. 

My day off started with a vomiting dog...seven vomits. Across rugs, curtains and floors. And a good morning to you too doggy! He’s had some chicken and rice since and we’ve just been out a short walk. He’s had lots of cuddles and snuggles and seems much better.

DD2 a bit better today but still poorly. So we have also had cuddles and snuggles. 

In between all the cuddles and snuggles and washing of rugs and floors I finished cleaning the patio. 

Then washed the outside of patio doors as they were all splattered. 

Then cleaned the dog nose prints off the inside of windows! 

Just finished watching Bohemian Rhapsody which was fabulous. Not often I have the concentration to sit for 2 hours and watch something but I did. OH and I saw Queen in Melbourne about 6 years ago and they were fantastic. I didn’t get to see Live Aid as I’d just arrived in Germany and the host family wouldn’t let us watch it. 

It’s been a dry day here so a washing out and mostly dried. It’s been overcast and only about 7o but dry! Nice sunset as we were just out walking . Loving the evening birdsong. The blackbirds are singing.

Pleasures for yesterday

1. The rugby - Cymru am byth 🏉🏆
2. Nice new walk with OH on a glorious day - over the fields (and not too far away)
3. More marking marked
4. Watched a peaky blinders while the men watched the footie - and they won!
5. Lasagne for tea - with delicious gin before and 🍷 with

And today
1. New emoji discovery - did you guess?😂🤪🧏‍♀️
2. A nice old walk with OH - i've walked about 28 miles this week!
3. A nice hour with my book in our warm conservatory
4. Yoga
5. Now sat with another gin and an online catch up

belated birthday greetings lainey and anniversary bop & bopsie sorry about the mariners. For yesterday
1) beautiful day. chatted to dd1 (rotterdam) for an hour 
2) had a surplus of sprouts - made hash
3) took a flask of coffee and a book to the botanics - saw one of the reds (photo is by a friend not me)
4) then took dogs for a walk down the front and met a friend
5) luton came back from 2-0 down to win. much needed points!
and today
1) did quite a lot of cleaning, very satisfying
2) then 5 hour work meeting (booo) but did take 30 minute lunch break - hm curried parsnip soup
3) then mr t - in addition to basics got some ys kievs and soup mix
4) walked boys up balgay - still light at 5:30
5) pizza for tea

Frith

Pleasures for today (Sunday)

1) A cooked breakfast.

2) Hens OK.

3) Took bigger son back to his apprenticeship. I was given a tour of the grounds and a cup of tea!

4) Stopped at Waitrose on the way home (as there is a branch in the town nearest to his work, but no branch local to me). 

5) Spent a jolly afternoon mending the bathroom extractor fan as I had got fed up of not being able to turn the light on and putting a candle in each night! Had to dismantle the whole thing and even pull out the ducting to outside to clear it! 

6) Made Spanish chicken for the freezer.

7) My school friend phoned. 

8) Going to watch Pottery Throwdown now.

1. More time spent in the greenhouse. More seeds sown.
2. Picked some lettuce leaves to have with lunch.
3. Seeing our friendly robin.
4. DH spent time digging out 3 tree stumps - not finished but nearly there.
5. Stained a wooden window sill. It looks better and pleased it's been done. I had been meaning to do it for a while.

For the weekend:
Better sleep Friday & Saturday but not last night.
Made chicken casserole 🥘 for 2 nights, roast potatoes one night, mash the second, very good 😋
Walk in the local park with OH, spring blossom but very chilly.
Warmed up with a bacon roll and a cuppa!
Click and collect all there and no substitutes, that must be a first!

For yesterday,

Very misty first thing but had rolled away by mid morning and we had more sunshine.

Capt S came over to the yard with me and it was good to see him striding out to the paddocks, steroids are really helping.

Princess Pony was delighted to see her ‘Dad’ and gave him lots of attention, he isn’t an especially horsey person and can be nervous but she flirted outrageously, batting her eyelashes and blowing kisses onto his face, and he was like putty in her hooves.

Tasty lunch then we made the most of the sunshine by taking small dog for a walk.

Slightly warmed Tiffin with a spoon of clotted cream, I know, I know but as Mhags says, birthdays are supposed to stretch over several days ☺️

Chocks Away!

No one gets thru the gate!
Lettus, food of the Rabbits? Pizza. Cooked Brakefest. Buzzard casserolls, again! Proper Foods!
Where do I finds this potty thing! Not another gawp event is it?

And relax!

Chocks has gone. All of them! None left! Tum is rubbed! very good they were as well! Recommended by BoP!

Not connxions thru the ether this day, I is off! Was off to photo this morn, butt is to grey too do so! Very flat. Will try again inn the morning! The Docks can weight until Wendsday!

Watched another flix last evening. Bad Words Very good. Cheeses and wobbleades were consumed. As it was BoP and BoPsie day, we has a buffet of chicken bits and roles of spring! Very tasty it was as well!

PM2DD Unfortunately the profanity filter prevents BoP freom speak inn his mind!

I know I is early this day, butt I has me tee in its mug. later i will be ating me free cakes of Jaffa! Boiled egg and snorker role for lunch as well. Kedgeree for dinner!

Good morning all. My pleasures for yesterday are are a bit dodgy but anyway....

Finished cleaning my house even though I felt a bit rough. 

Being able to phone a friend when I couldn’t cope with the pain any more. 

Friend took me to hospital while her brother (best friend) sat with the HT for a bit. 

The NHS and painkillers. Also my cousin being on duty in A&E and checking on me .  Cousin is back on duty today so is bringing me some bits from home. No visitors allowed but she doesn’t count because she works here. 

Friend went and collected HT’s partner so the HT wasn’t on his own. Partner is a year older.  I’ve been kept in so that medics can look for whatever is causing the problem. 

Told you they were a bit dodgy. I very  much appreciate all the help that I’ve had in the last 18 hours though. Take care all of you 😊
