Another anniversary down, mhagster, maybe in time it will sting a little less. Good idea about the flowers, though. I decided to buy myself a Christmas present and posh beauty Advent calendar from my deceased OH (two years come end of June) and I have just realised it's my birthday next month and I ought to treat myself to something special, a thing I normally would never do.

Cranky - I hope by now they've found what is wrong and are sorting it out. Hugs in the meantime.
And hugs to Mhagster and S Sue too. X
Another grey day, and cold too
Bubble friend called to collect her piece of DD birthday cake. She stopped for a coffee, but has toothache so not feeling very chatty and didn't stop long.
Going to wax the table and coffee table this afternoon, and anything else that doesn't get out of the way fast enough. It's a job I quite enjoy as you can ' see where you've been '.
Meatballs for tea. I cheat and make the meatballs out of sausages. Quick and very tasty.
Enjoying Bloodlands. No spoiler, but a shock ending this week😲
Happy grey day everyone14 -

Hello. Just started watching Bloodlands, I do like James Nesbitt.
It’s been a nice day here. As in it’s been dry not warm. Lovely sunny afternoon.
Lazy start to day. Made DD2 pancakes by request.
Quick doggy walk.
Started painting fence, there is much fence! I’m just going to do it section by section till I’m done...I may be some time! One coat paint my backside! I’m sure I say that every spring!Chatter with DD1.
Chat with the mother so I didn’t have to go round. Is that mean or self preservation? ( certainly the latter)
Big doggy walk. It was lovely. Met a couple of people along the way and quick socially distant chats to.Been given 6 wooden chairs from work. They were plonked in the hallway last night so finally moved them out to garage. The garage is full of other peoples stuff waiting on blooming lockdown finishing! Sigh. The chairs will go out in the garden once I’m all painted and new table arrives, new table still to ordered.Made a creamy chicken & veggie sauce. DD2 had hers a pasta and I had mine as a pie, with leftover baked potatoes and carrots. It’s still light at 6pm. Hurrah!Cranky I hope you’re feeling a little better.15 -
Hello all and biggest of big hugs Mhags.
Thanks for your good wishes. General opinion is that whatever migrated out of my gallbladder before Christmas has completed a bit more of its journey. The good news is that my liver enzymes are lower and I’m not as yellow as I was on Sunday. I have a couple of possible options tomorrow so I’ll wait and tell you once it’s done. The HT and his boyfriend are doing a sterling job of cooking, cleaning and looking after the cat.My lovely best friend (who only moved here on Saturday and is still tired) has been checking on them and took the HT for his back to school Covid test today. The HT’s covid test was negative. The HT and his boyfriend walked up to the hospital and dropped some things off at the hospital for me today. They’re good kids.Take care all of you 😊14
