Hugs Sue, would drive you up the wall. I have no idea where you get your strength from. I hope that you get appropriate support in days to come. xxxx13

Good to hear from you, Sue, and well done with putting up with a numpty.
Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) House quite clean and tidy.
3) Hens OK.
4) Smaller son had chosen and ordered himself a hoodie, which arrived today. It is the first time he has ever shown an interest in what he is wearing; I just look at what bigger son wears and buy him the same.
5) Went to Tesco and bought a £6 apple tree. They had sold out of plums or we would have had one of those too.

Sue just sending you lots of love. Just hang on to the knowledge of most of your nursing team will have your husbands best interests. We had one that we particularly didn’t like coming into our home. He was very disinterested and often surprised me that he’d chosen a palliative care team to work with. ‘So have you been getting out and about much?’...OH and I looking at each other, raised eyebrows, knowing exactly what the other was thinking. We’d just told him that OH had been in hospital for six days and had just been discharged the previous day. Mmmm not so much! Hang on to your sense of humour !Cranky absolutely better out than in! And hopefully you can start to recover.Well a pretty full on day. My youngest baby is 21 today. We’ve had a good day all things considered, lockdown and poorly person!I was up early to erect a balloon arch. None of your fancy expensive ones, a kit from Home Bargains for £3.99 did the job perfectly! Only used half the kit so may have one for my birthday at end of month. A bit hard to do single handedly but I managed.
Picked up a very simple yet beautiful ‘ naked’ cake from work and wired flowers from my florist friend and decorated the cake when I got home, rather fabulous even if I say so myself.Picked up decorated fondant biscuits later that are also rather fabulous.
Friends popped by with cards and gifts and it’s just been a lovely day. She’s had a few snoozettes throughout the day,
We had a dine in deal doodah from M&S for tea.
we are just in from visiting OH best friend who the kids call auntie and uncle. We dropped off birthday cake and the dog came home with a new squeaky ball! Was nice to chat ...you know outside in the freezing cold ! Blooming Covid!I’ve had way too much sugar today ( was allowed as part of my Lenten challenge) will be glad to be back to no sugar tomorrow! It’s been a good day. Just the two of us.15 -
Definitely a case of better out than in Cranky, rest up now.
Sorry you have a silly care person to deal with on top of everything else Sue, love to you both.
For yesterday,
Monthly errand day so stocks of small dog and bird food topped up, also filled up the car and managed to resist the numerous chocolate offerings.
Small dog’s food is kept in a container under the stairs and she stands next to me as I fill it up ready to taste a few morsels, just for quality control purposes you understand.
Loaf of the day was spelt & rye with pumpkin seeds, very tasty for lunch slightly warm with cheese.
As always time spent with equine girlie, even on a cold & grey March day she lifts my spirits.
Good chat with the yard owner, these social interactions are so much more precious to us these days aren’t they.15 -
Hugs to Sue. Glad you’ve been seen to Cranky. Belated birthday wishes to MHags DD.
Walk round local lake on Monday
Walk with friend round 2 lakes on Tuesday, furthest I’ve walked for a long time

More delicious cherries 🍒 bought and nearly finished!
Got my jab today, slightly nervous as had anaphylaxis a few years ago but will be glad to get it over and done with 😊
Have a good day. Roadworks right outside my bedroom window now forcing me out of bed!14 -
