Hello. I shall read DFV’s novelette tomorrow!Just in from a 12.5 hour shift . So have a call to friend to make and I’m in bed already! House is blooming freezing as DD2 hadn’t had heating on. It’s currently 1o outside and doesn’t feel that much warmer inside! But heatings on and I’ve a big jumper on till I heat up!Up early for work. In early at work as had catering to get out the way first, busy day, good company in the kitchen which is nice. It’s not my normal days to work but I’d swapped to have time off for start of week.Got tips. Slightly more than yesterday. Not getting rich quick though!Three hours after shift of paperwork/lists/being like Santa and checking them twice! We have a monster weekend next weekend for Mother’s Day and then it’s Easter coming up so did some work on that too! Waaah! My poor doggy had been waiting in the porch since 4.30pm for his mummy to come home. We are currently snuggled! Big walks tomorrow I promise!17

Glad you’re home Cranky.
Pleasures for Friday:
Got myself out for a walk to cheer myself up after feeling a bit down.
I ached so decided to drive to a nearby spot near the river and canal and walk from there.
It turned out to be well worthwhile as I spotted 6 little egrets and a heron sitting in a marshy field.
Walked a bit further and came to an open back bird hide where a bird watcher pointed out 2 other egrets and shoveller ducks 🦆, which made it much more interesting.
Enjoyed the walk and did as many steps as I normally do.
Friday night takeaway kebabs 😊
Have a good weekend everyone 😊15 -

4. Messaged a friend - they aren't moving for a month now.
5. Watched the rugby.13 -
Epic post DFVFor yesterday,
Tiny wild violets in the lawn, I know some people think of them as weeds but I’m not that precious about my grass.
Made a loaf for the weekend, malted grain with added sunflower seeds.Have a sore knee at the moment so just hobbled out to the field to say hello and feed a carrot.
No inspiration for tea then remembered some leftover party bits in freezer so bunged them all in the oven, made a winter salad & houmous and Robert is your uncle.
Clean sheets on the bed, we are still using the winter brushed cotton sets, cosy.16 -

Hello. Sat amongst a sea of paper with lists upon lists, just in from a very nice doggy walk , quick over the fields before it was dark. Met a friend and her son and had a pleasant chat with them.Lazy morning and I mean lazy! Then the niecelys called and said they were going to our local woodlands and did we want to catch up so we did and had a nice hour or so with them. I had a little tear escape when I hugged my great niece I miss her sorely. She was well and truly squeezed! But far too busy way too many folk for me so was glad when we left the main area and walked up through the woods.Washing out and dried. Then head down and list upon list to be sorted!13
