Hello. Currently lashing with rain though sky seems quite light. Bit odd. But I’m inside and I’m dry. We went a big doggy walk earlier over the fields and it was just spitting with rain on the way back. We were literally just in and what a downpour so I’m glad we missed that.Up early and in and out of work.Home. Very quick doggy walk. Was wet and blustery, just enough until business was done!Quiet morning. May have dozed off for half an hour. Watched a lovely film called Penguin Bloom. I would recommend.
Then we went our big walk. Doggy enjoyed it and DD2 not as moany as usual! She ordered takeaway for tea which came very quickly. Was very tasty too.Need to put my wellies on and put the bins out...that’s as exciting as my evening will be!15 -
Good morning Lovelies,
Thank you for the good wishes for DD. It has been the one success in a sea of rejections, so very important to her. 🙂
Yesterday
1. Met a friend for a walk along a discussed railway line to a coffee shop which does proper takeaway coffees. We have both had our jabs. Lovely long walk and a chat. Now all caught up!2. Walked her back to her car, as she had found a skip with interesting contents..........we usually meet for a tour of the local Charity Shops, so we have missed a good rummage. We had great fun finding treasures in the skip! Garden chairs, benches, vases, ornaments! Was it someone styling a house for sale, then just throwing out the contents? If you see a Facebook post of two excited old ladies raiding a skip in broad daylight, it was probably us 🤣.......... I really want to go back and save the rest for the charity shop, though where I would I store it?3. Cottage pie for tea.
4. Call with DS2. He is still enjoying his training. 🙂
5. Watched the Documentary linked to the Pembrokeshire Murders. Really admire how clever the police officers, forensic scientist and Lawyer were to be able to solve the murders 20 years on. We had to watch Your Garden Made Perfect afterwards as an antidote, before bed 🤣
Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)

Morning everyone.
Its my birthday and my twin sister’s obviously 🤣
Went for a walk round local lake yesterday, it rained but needed to get out and enjoyed it.
just had tea and biccie in bed courtesy of OH, he’s gone to work now
Lovely card and more to open when I go downstairs.
Meeting friend in local park later for a walk and hopefully something from the takeaway cafe, I’ll cut my cake 🎂and take some with me and also take a slice up to my 90 year old neighbour 😊
Have a lovely day and hopefully raise a glass 🥂to me later 😘13 -
Morning all - Happy birthday Paulie and Paulie's sister! Hope you have a lovely day.
HouseElf - i forgot to congratulate DD. Amazing stuff.
Pleasures for yesterday
1. An earlyish morning walk to the dentists. In and out in under 10 minutes which is a miracle as they aren't very organised usually
2. Cracking on with the marking - unusual for me to do so well in the early stages of it. But i have a lot to get through.
3. cheese omelette for lunch. Fastest and best fast food there is.
4. yoga
5. Family film night - The Road to Mandalay. Absolute nonsense but very funny and featured a comedy horse (it's animated). I do love a comedy horse.
Have a great day all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens13 -

Wishing the Paulie twins a very Happy Birthday 🎂🍾 it’s a tough job for sure but just for you I will have a glass of something sparkly this evening 😉
For yesterday,
Phone call from lovely farrier, can you be there in 20 mins, er ok. Whizzed over to the yard and, as she just has a trim, he did girlie’s feet in her field. He had a new apprentice with him, nice young chap and suitably admiring of my mare who bathed in the extra attention.
By the time lovely farrier had finished the soft drizzle had turned into a downpour so headed home for soup & cheese on toast.
The skies cleared and sun came out, took small dog for a walk then headed back over the yard, hello pony, yes I’m back!
The sun brought my dwarf daffodils out, cheery little plants.
Gorgeous George and his amazing spaces, it must be all the caravan holidays as a child but I’m a little bit obsessed with living in tiny houses, the ultimate downsizing.13 -
Good morning all,
Happy Birthday Paulie and sister
Pleasures for yesterday....
Boss sent me a link to book a covd jab. I booked it for 3pm then spent the rest of the day worrying...I have had some allergic reactions to things in the past but my consultant friend had alreay said not to worry, they'd have epi pens on site. Most of my friends have already had their jab (strange circles that I mix in, either health professionals or old and knackered like me) It was OK anyway, no adverse reaction so far. Also the nurse spotted where I'd had my blood test it and turned out that gallstone dept is her usual job. She asked my symptoms, explained a few things and was very reassuring. Couldn't make that up!
Phone call from my gp. My liver enzyme numbers have reduced by a third. Still dodgy numbers so hospital referral done (there aren't any appointments though) but carry on doing what I'm doing as it's working. I knew that because I feel so much better. Can't raise a glass to Paulie though - I'm still on an alcohol ban.
A proper almost normal sized evening meal for the first time this year. I'll go straight back to what I was doing previously and it was only beans on toast with bacon but small victories.
Pottering round the house getting all my jobs done. I also made brownies for the HT. I didn't hear the oven timer so they're a bit crunchy round the outside but luckily he likes them like that.
A quiet evening watching you tube and doing online jigsaws. The HT was online gamng wth friends so no input required from me. This lockdown has definitely been harder in terms of keeping his mood stable.
Take care all of you

1) Being indoors with the heating on because it's gone beyond cats and dogs out there in terms of rain to bats and frogs and it's blooming freezing!
2) Having a nice baking session for the next few days consumption with tea.
3) Using up a whole bundle of tiny apples from the fruit bowl (they kept coming in the veg box by the dozen) in the slow cooker for compote.
4) Rugby on the TV this weekend, 3 games of it woohoo!
5) Online purchasing which means even if it's not possible to go out because of the pandemic we can still get what we want and delivered to the door at that, not all of modern living is nasty!9 -
Hello. Guess who did not need an alarm clock this morning for the first time in about 4 weeks? Me,that’s who! Woke at 7am with a dog at my face telling me it was time to get up. Dealt with him then came back to bed!Round to mums. Did what needed doing.
Popped into supermarket for flowers then walked up to friend and dropped them off for her birthday. Had a quick chat at doorway.
Then a very blustery wet doggy walk. Just enough till business was done as it’s a foul day here.
Opened a new bar of goat milk soap all the way from Australia...how nice 😉.
Then a friend popped by with a lovely gift for me just because I was having a rubbish day the other day, so that was lovely too.
Upstairs and downstairs hoovered and I just need to wash floors and I am done! Candles and wax melt is on so smells lovely...better than wet dog anyway!Happy birthday to you Paulie hope you’re having a lovely day and your sister too.12
