Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday.....
I was a bit tired yesterday so I gave myself a day off from cleaning and did the food shopping instead.
I sorted out the HT's pyjama shelf in his wardrobe. He has a lot of pyjamas so all neatly folded and in order now.
Some knitting. I've been doing crochet for a while so it's good to have a change.
I bought myself a bunch of flowers in the supermarket as the last bunch lasted so well. I also bought a bunch for my cousin and dropped them off on the way home because she loves flowers.
The HT had a college interview via telephone and has been offered a place at the college that he wanted subject to achieving the right grades. It's cheered him up no end.
Take care all of you14 -
Lainey - you could have just walked up and down the landing you know!!
Cranky - well done to the HT
Pleasures for yesterday

happy birthday for yesterday House Elf!
(Another mad day, and I ask you, heeding a lecture on the "healthy heart" whilst wolfing burger & chips brought me by youngest who correctly presumed I was hungry. Sorry BoP, will try harder for Proper Foods.)10 -
Happy Birthday for yesterday House Elf.
These are for yesterday
1 The cress seeds are growing, I am so pleased, given it’s probably the easiest seed however I manage to kill basically everything when it comes to the garden, so I’m pleased.
2 I did an online course today and it was actually far better than I thought, and I got a lot out of it.
3 Fish and rice for dinner.
4 Another file full of paperwork, done and dusted its quite therapeutic.

Good Evening Folks,
Thank you for your birthday wishes 🎂 ....cake and takeaway will be involved on Saturday, when we are all at home for dinner....
1. DS1 and GF made me a balloon arch and a huge birthday badge!
2. COVID-19 vaccination done. Very friendly, efficient experience. These lovely people have a long, repetitive road ahead of them. Many of them are volunteers. I hope people are kind to them along the way..... They made a big fuss of me when they saw my birthday badge 🤣
3. Fish and chips for tea. The man in the chip shop sang Happy Birthday to me!4. The Repair Shop.......Mr Jay Blades ❤️.
5. Assembled my birthday present.....a bird feeding station and squirrel baffle.........let's see how long they remain baffled 🤣
Have a lovely evening 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)

Good morning! Another day. Another early start! Struggling with the alarm going off as early now! However I’m up!Yesterday was in for 90 minutes to do catering and same again today. It’s my choice to go in as early as it means I have the space and peace to myself. Once there I’m fine!Charity bag I’d placed at front door had been taken by the time I got back, so another pile of stuff away
.My by default place to chat...usually ( though not always) when I go out to the bin I see someone I know, so. A huge chat yesterday morning! From a distance!
Watched The Bay. In between hoovering and dusting and cleaning all upstairs windows. And bathrooms and washing floors. My doggy. Always around. ( currently snuggled in with me )
Have a good day14 -
Happycas and VJ.glad daughters are mending. And Cranky congrats to son (HT).
House Elf, smashing birthday.
I recieved my birthday card from my brother. Yesterday. Really lovely.
No answers on why I am constantly light headed but blood test done. He is still convinced that pains in chest are anxiety driven. Have to keep an eye on blood pressure. LOTS of prodding and manipulation over hip. Had to grab his arm at one point.. UNbelievably I have an appointment with physiotherapist. TODAY !
(thank you, thank you, thank you...........)
My heart is strong
Put one of my dastardly plans into action and used half red lentils, half mince for a slow cooked bolognese sauce. No-one noticed except to say that it was the best one I've made so far............tee-hee
The doctor I saw yesterday was new to me. Very thorough, dry sense of humour (I like that). First doctor to not put my debilitating hip pain down to sciatica which I do suffer from daily but is a different pain. Of course he's not staying.......
Oh well. I didn't want to bother anyone this year but it was worth the wait.
A warm lovely day wished to all

Leftovers above made into a pie 🥧- both delicious
Apple and blackberry sponge made from apples from garden and foraged blackberries (from freezer)
Lots about food as usual!
Walk to local park with friend and we actually had a takeaway roll and cuppa sat on a bench!
Toilet fixed but a quite a few 💰 lighter! Necessary though as we only have one loo!
