Tracy staying all night with Jazzer & not that we saw that happening lol
1) managed to get a 30 minute walk at lunch time (though did mean eating my lunch at the 2pm meeting
2) lunch was the last of the sweet and sour
3) at 4:30 dd2 said she was taking mum's car back. I asked if she could hold on 30 minutes and I'd go with her
4) so at 5 I stopped work. she drove, i walked up with the boys and had a lovely evening with mum
5) who did us supper. had to be back for an 8pm work meeting (just finished) mum insisted we borrow the car again to come home cos it had started snowing. I am liking this car share!

Hope you’re ok, Ampersand.
pleasures for today (Weds)
1) not a bad sleep
2) cleaned sons’ room, demoulded the ceiling, tidied up generally.
3) hens ok
4) went to look at bigger son’s hammock spot in the forest.
5) dentist appointment number 6. Next time he may have a bridge made.
6) smaller son had a lovely time at college - maths, biology and making cookies.
7) just been talking to my school friend on the phone16 -
1. A colleague had her 2nd jab and as she shielded she needed it for her peace of mind. All 2nd jabs now have been delayed to March.
2. Cake at work. It was chocolate orange and very tasty.
3. Road was open so didn't need to do 2 mile detour.
4. Haddock chowder for tea. I'm enjoying cooking more things with fish now as DS2 doesn't like fish.
5. Enjoyed grand designs.

Okay, may have this completely wrong but am going to attempt making a soup from the leftover veg and juice from the stew. Am going to blast it with my magic hand held whirling machine, then am going to add cannellini beans or perhaps kidney beans as they might go better with the beef flavour. Not sure yet but I cannot possibly waste all that goodness. If it works then my Crock Pot is just a gift that keeps on giving.
Am taking Tiggy out soon but massive walks will not be achieved as it's raining. Some days she is willing, some not. I let her decide. One thing I do know is that I will get smiles and comments on her bright pink coat. She also has a pink leather collar and lead. And yet everyone (bar none) has always described her as a 'he' !
Don't have much to report, just going to get on with my new hobby. De-cluttering !
Love to all

Nice looking cake Lainey 😊
Tried some short mindfulness and meditation last 2 mornings as I had got in a bit of a tizz after seeing ICU on Good Morning Britain. I was in ICU nearly 4 years ago and it triggered memories I had largely boxed away☹️
So pleasure is mindfulness helped a little and I’ve not watched GMB or the news for the last 2 days 😊
Watched Sarah Beeney’s New Life in the Country instead. Lovely programme, a bit like Escape to the Chateau. Still a couple of episodes to go.
Good food also helped, made smoked mackerel pate for brunch and a huge pot of bolognaise which will do several dinners and was enjoyed by both of us last night.
No exercise for past 2 days except some floor cleaning 🧹. Will do some yoga today if rain prevents a walk.
Have a good day everyone. I really enjoy reading your posts 😊

Aw, Tiggy in her pink coat, Tilly aka small dog has a red waterproof one which is very much in use lately.
Good news on thumb & but hope you are ok after tumble. Listening to TMS?, Aggers is in his dressing gown apparently!
For yesterday,
A good day for doing surveys and pot building up.
Wardrobe sort out, couple of bits put by for selling, a few for donating when able and one top had its hem mended.
Long chat with DB, he was walking his dog and had to stop to pick up poo 😆 but it was lovely to have a catch up, miss him very much.
A slice of tea loaf with afternoon cuppa.
Then for our tea it was a midweek mini roast with stuffed chicken thighs, roast pots & parsnips, broccoli and carrots, I’d like to say that the current situation has elevated my love of food but has always been the case.16 -
Morning all
Frith - so glad smaller son is having better college days.
Pleasures for yesterday - i was in a foul mood most of the day so we'll see how we go
1. Made bread from scratch - some frustration was vented in kneading dough. It is a most satisfying task
2. Also made soup for tea - just call me 'earth mother'
3. Read my book (Northern Lights) for over an hour
4. A yoga session - i've taken to doing them at twilight with candles and soft lamps. most relaxing
5. DD still unwell (not a pleasure but she is slowly improving, so that is somewhat of a pleasure) so rather than family film night which DD is not up to, DS OH and i watched a rather nice film with Keira Knightly and Mark Ruffalo (who OH called "Bill Gruffalo") called "Begin Again".
Have a nice day all- - a worky day for me that includes being interviewed for a job i am not sure I want this afternoon.I wanna be in the room where it happens17 -
Bang On!
Chinese Buzzard, BoP Style!
Chopped Buzzard! Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms, Bat on Carrots, Peas in the Pod!, with egg fried rice! Fry the lot, buzzard thirst. Add some sweet chilli sauce and toss inn the veggies! Flip fry till warned. Serve with the BoP Egg fried rice, see BoP notes passim!
Crumbs LT!
Donts tell them about it VJ!Now on with the BoP Bits!
Well had the last of the roast buzzard last nite as a chinese stir up! Not pictured, butt as good! That buzzard served up eight meals! And was soooo tasty as well! Gots me thinks as we has All Pulling Together out here who do freezer foods and collect the left overs and distribute this. Well, we should putt them in charge of the parcels? Then gets me thinking moor! Them carp boxes had a potato and some cheese and someone complained they did not know how to cook it! Do not get BoP started!
Bullocks I has!
Last nite someone broke inn and drunk all of BoP's wobbleade, while I was watching a flix with BoPsie! Cinderella Pact! Cheeses were also consumed! Bit oif a mash last eve to gets the flix, as one was carp and is not recommended here, hence I no tells you! VJ, recommend flix that one, Begin Again. Bopsie and mes saw it three at the kinema, back row of curse!
BoPsie is at the Salt Mine, I is on a day of BoP. Hence here, putt inn the world to rites and there. Tuck Kitty four her walk, she loves it. Left her at the lawns and she makes it home. Her swing door is hers now. Cants belief it is five months since Raffles went through rainbow bridge!
Nows has mes elevenses with big mug of tea and some cakes of Jaffa! Watch inn the bash!
Very Comfortable! Keep safe!
Oh, I said I would never have a go at educationalists, but then again I is BoP! Are skools these days forcing pieces of paper onto people, instead of teaching skills and crafts? The one who had the spud and cheese had done well at skool, butt she had no lesson in crafts and cookery! I started mes apprenticeship in 1974 with the two day college lead in course to get out of school aged 14! First day we turned up at 9:30 and thought is was good! Only to be told, tomorrow yous be here for 8:30 and we finish at 5:00! Harsh lesson, butt good! Only to take 5 O Levels, and the OND by 17. You could go on to the HND. If you were good, Poly was then available at 23! By then you would have around 9 years experience out of skool? Mine was cancelled as they were closing the factory, butt I was joining the RAF instead! I did not tell them butt I always wanted to do so! That was .. tells yous soon! Now go back again!

It was wasted on me....school......no focus. But loved the 1 (yes one) woodworking class, hated home economics (still don't like cooking
) and was chucked out of art class because I didn't understand the concept of a repeating pattern. Had swimming lessons instead.
Would love to start again. Chosen subjects would be English Lit and Lang, Maths, French, Latin, sewing/crafting, car maintenance, WOODWORKING. No P.E. unless I could do/play rounders and trampolining all year round. ! And most of all Art History..........
(Haven't decided on sciences).
