Hope Haggis boy is feeling better today.
We weren’t so successful DD but it was great to hear fans back at the Abbey.
For yesterday,
Out for a shop, picked up a few extra bits for the Yuletide including cherries in kirsch for my trifle.
Checked in with my bf as there had been a nasty fire close to her, all well and lovely to have a chat.
Rode my pony, it was cold, drizzly and she was very lethargic, think we were both pleased to be back in the barn.Small dog charging back into the kitchen after her evening walk as I had been grating cheese when she left, there was a morsel left in her bowl ☺️Enjoying my current book, one of the original George Gently stories.12 -
Mhags - hope doggy is feeling better
For last few days
Bought our Christmas tree. We have a pot grown one but the previous one is now too big and heavy for us to lift in and out so is planted in the garden. The new one is much smaller and more manageable. It will stay in the garden for a while yet, and is today being watered, thanks to the heavy rain.
Struggling to get any moss to make my wreath so am thinking I'll wrap the frame with hessian instead. The eucalyptus has gone bonkers this year, so there'll be plenty of foliage to hide any mistakes.
Took our annual donation of gifts to the YMCA ( wish I could write that without singing and mentally doing the actions!) Much more difficult this year as I had to arrange a specific time, instead of just popping in when passing. They are always so pleasant there tho so I like to help.
Town was pretty depressing. We're tier 3 so shops can open but not many had and of course no cafes or bars open. All seemed a bit glum really.
Happy ☔ Thursday everyone

Well Kitty was not happy this mroning as I putt the sticker pack on her chair arm. Sulked off upstairs under the radiator. Had the look of daggers! Butt BoP has dressed the windas of BoP Palais. Both front ones are different! Looks the best inn the street, so their! xmas is coming and we is readied. Get the biscuits last day at the A1D! Doing the windas, I had too tea mugs and decent crumble and chocklate cookies as well!
Had a flix nite last eve. Quantum of Solace Don't think it is true to the cunning play at the Casino that Ian wrotes about! Still good though, we has another on the boxed thing too watch later. Cheeses and wobbleades were consumed. As wes weres at the A1D!,we snook inn a large pizza for supper and wolfed it down. Kitty finished it off as she is learning about decent foods these days!
Not connected to the Docks too day, as work is go fourth for until Monday. That day we has our Wheels of Steal inn for its MoT! So we has our day out inn town! Usual rules though, deep pockets, short arms!
Now as I says that work is over for the weak, watching the cricket withs mes luncheon of pork pie, toms and bits and a bowl of fruits. As I is not greedy, I also has another wafer left too eat! As well, later I has some decent Almond tarts as well! That is what it is lick bee inn BoP!
Wells thinks I has said all the good things happening inn your version of BoP's life! Oh, that Kedgeree recipe. I will publish it soon!

Art'noon all
Pleasures for yesterday
1. A really early wake up (3.30!!) just could not get back to sleep. No idea why, nothing particular bothering me, i was just.. awake. The pleasure is that i coped throughout the day and never thought "crikey i'm tired".. odd
2. It meant i got stuff done though - including putting up the christmas tree. i never usually do it so early but it's so horrid and dark in the mornings and i just wanted to (so there!!)
3. Did some yoga - a gentle one. it may be that this session is a little too gentle for me now as i've got so experienced.
4. Cleaned the bathrooms listening to Mark Steel's in town - great fun and i have clean bathrooms
5. Socialised - a dog walk with my friend and little Archie and a zoom call with other friends.
Take care all, it's horrid here today.
I wanna be in the room where it happens11 -
1) the sound of someone clearing ice off their windscreen (it was a trifle cold last night)
2) the feel of the cold air when I'm well-dressed for the weather - very refreshing
3) the taste of a very nice aubergine and veggie sausage casserole - a good dollop of aubergine pickle is the magic ingredient
4) the smell of pizza cooking for tea
5) the sight of football - Zorka v. Leicester on BT sport - can't remember who else just switched their internet provider but loving my new one and DD2 managed not only to get it faster and cheaper but free BT sport for 18 months thrown inMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

1 Cheat food tonight oven pizza slice and an Iceland fakeaway chicken box, I am very impressed, we will definitely get another.
2 Some bits returned by courier rather handy and the money will come back.
3 Mr T delivery very short dated, I’m not impressed so swapped to Mr A next week.
4 I went to get us our “usual” calendar, but wonder about making our own, it looks more expensive so just looking at the moment, but thought it would be a nice way to note on their the birthdays of the 54 ferrets we’ve had come through over the years. I am awful at this sort of stuff but fancy giving it a go.
5 Phoned the vet, Nestle is touch wood making progress but it’s very medium, he stays on pain meds and antibiotics and we make a decision on Monday if he needs investigations. He’s tightly snuggled with his mate as I write this.

Awful day yesterday. (Divorce in family, received cutting text first thing). Struggled to keep even keeled even though I know the words came from hurt, fear and depression. Hopefully a better one today. For them most of all.
In desperation I put out cornflakes and honey nut granola. I had nothing else to offer my menagerie. However, I do know that crows and foxes will eat almost anything. Not fruit or veg as I have offered. The granola was very popular. The cornflakes that I had put in the same bowl was chucked all over the place. Message received !
My brother washed up. He is not pro-active (neither is OH) but he will, when I ask gently, help. He also walked Tiggy with me. He doesn't like going out so it's always a win. Having said all that my brother pretended that he couldn't help me with something but a couple of hours later when I went to start the job it was completed. Was tickled pink.
My Uncle continues to improve. My other brother still has to go through further tests to ascertain long term damage but he is getting stronger too.
Tiggy's meds arrived.
Warm hugs to all
bala
