Good afternoon all, pleasures for yesterday....
I called to my friend's house mid morning and set up my old pc there so that friend can now join in again with the game that we all play. I've also said I'll go back and help clear up for a couple of hours a day for the next few days. There's been work done on the house and it's easier to clean if both of us do it.
The HT was in a good mood. He scored 80% in his maths test and is really enjoying classes with his new teacher.
Easy tea because my looked after person was here. It was pizza for the HT and I had porridge. It doesn't really qualify for the title of "dinner".
I remembered to make the HT's school lunches for the next few days so no late night rush job.
A hot bath and then watchng some flicks of Net with the HT. I have banned pc games for the last hour before bed time on school nights to see if it helps him sleep better. It's also good to have some family time even if we are a very small family.
Take care all of you

Very early start. Was awake from 3.30 am and was getting up for work at 5 so just stayed awake! Just waiting on work keys getting dropped off then I’m going to bed! Same again tomorrow.Very early doggy walk. Just us and the birds until there was someone else dog walking behind us so I sped up a wee bit!Work. Me and I’m a Celeb this morning and another couple of hours wages earned.
Home and made DD2 porridge. She was just coming down to eat it when her friend from Melbourne who is living in UK called to say her mum had been diagnosed with breast cancer so that was rather upsetting . Made me cry at the thought that this girl who’s a bit younger than mine is over here away from her family but glad she had DD2 to chat with. Blooming cancer! Grrrr. Then dog started vomiting which as you know isn’t that unusual but that’s usually from indulging in a sock , this is different and he’s feeling very sorry for himself. So I’m envisaging a night on the sofa just to cut out the up and downstairs for me. See how he is in morning. He’s not had anything to eat since this morning and does not appear hungry, poor boy.
Got bed stripped and remade...not that I’ll be in it tonight! And tidied up stuff in my room and top landing . Mainly boxes of Christmas decorations .
Went a big walk with doggy...not realising he was quite as bad as he was. Poor thing ! I’m chucking a ball for him and he’s like muuuum my tummy is upset! Met OH best friend and his dogs so chatted with them.
Quick chat to DD1.
Chatted to my sister ( in between opening door to let dog out)
Made some pasta mid afternoon lunch/ dinner.
Chat to niece and kids on phone.11 -
that sucks mhags bad enough this distance at any time but during covid really difficult. hope master haggis is feeling better soon
1) the smell of the hairdresser's, even through my mask
2) and the feel of the massage chair while I had my hair washed. dreamy
3) the taste of chilli con carne - I treated myself to lunch at my work local - no alcohol allowed but heaving with happy lunchers. doggy bag meant there was enough for my tea too
4) the sight of the moon, very orange when it came up and now a huge white disc in a very black sky
5) and the sound of 1000 hatters cheering (via radio 5) as they scored. 3-1 bop and a very welcome 3 points. now listening to the applause.

We lived in Norfolk until 2009 ,only came here to help care for DDs children when she was dying.
Our son lives in Norwich and he and DH are season ticket holders ,DS has taken over the tickets for his lads but left DH in his name until afterwards so he can watch on ?Ifollow ,probably wasn’t a good thing tonight!
DD was a tractor girl ,just to annoy them12 -
Accidentally bought 'Hot Smoked Salmon'. They looked like normal raw salmon pieces. Am not a fish lover (love seafood) but these were so delicious. Served with RTC skinny fries, leftover mash and a lovely salad. Will keep this in mind.
My menagerie continues to visit but has slowed down somewhat. In the summer there were times when I had 6 or 7 birds sitting on the fence waiting for me. In the olden days I would have been branded a witch. Haven't seen Grace, I do worry about her. Have seen quite a few magpies partaking. Lovely.
Am trying out my Crock Pot today with a new recipe. Excited. (But don't forget that I don't like cooking).
Have mastered downloading apps onto my phone. I feel more up to date.
Hugs to all

1. Managed to break computer at work. Mid way through logging in it lost all power! It is now fixed. There was a spare room to use which was good.
2. Nice chat with DS2.
3. Saw neighbours- had to give a key to one of them from a work colleague. He fits kitchens and asked others a favour.
4. Sleep on the sofa.
5. Easy tea as I was exhausted.11
