3. Visited a lovely NT place and gorgeous walk through the woods with the trees changing colour
4. Watching a vile crossing the path in front I us. He kept stopping and sniffing and eating. Seemed oblivious that we were there.
5. Nice meal out and not too expensive.13 -
Welcome MsMatch.
Ah Ampersand, I saw the news from NZ and immediately thought of you my fellow Fenny, good stuff and we can only wish we had similar.
For yesterday,
Bacon butties and catching up on all things Ambridge.
A couple of busy but productive hours in garden, many bulbs planted, dwarf irises, anemones, crocuses, daffs, the only ones left now are the tulips which will wait until after Samhain. Also raked out the moss in lawn, achey arms today!
After the above and a big roast dinner an afternoon nap was almost obligatory.
Roused ourselves enough to walk small dog, around the fields.
Toasted crumpets for tea, pretty a much perfect sunday actually.

4. as i was in the kitchen anyway, i also made lemon drizzle cake and some tomato soup with the remaining tomatoes
5. yoga - a harder session but i managed ok
6. Left over curries for tea on Saturday
7. A long walk with OH over the fields yesterday
8. cleaning DS's room and changing his sheets - i know he should do it, but he doesn't and it gets to the point where i can't stand it.
9. A win for the villa, makes my menfolk happy
10. more ancestry - soooo addictive.
Have a great day allI wanna be in the room where it happens13 -

Hello. From the land of much rain and where it was dark so early tonight...and will only get darker from now on in
well today was my busiest day ever in the kitchen and excellent tips and then stayed in to do a private function with also excellent tips then found out I’d some extra tips from my couple of hours on Friday so the jam jars are filling nicely. A 10.5 hour shift! And I’m in again tomorrow as someone is off. So that might even pay for the third tyre that’s needed!Anyway the pleasure is it’s done and went quickly enough and I had enough time this morning to be all organised which really makes such a difference and also having good company too.Had a very lovely bowl of soup after serving everyone at function first, and I thought what a lovely bowl of soup! And everyone else said the same!A very lovely hello from my doggy when I got in.Then had sausage rolls ( they’d been left in oven too long at work to serve but were fine for me and DD2 to have for tea) and beans.13 -
1 Both DH and I had our flu jabs today, glad to, and I have to say she was the most friendly and best at her job, I had to check I had it as I really didn’t feel it, thou we are starting to feel it now.
2 As we were out we looked around CS’s for the first time since Feb, but nothing purchased.
3 Lovely to get in and have a tea as we didn’t risk stopping for food and drink, after an in depth conversation with the flu jab lady.
4 We just had a really lovely takeaway delivered, local independent and via a voucher.
5 Candles burning and an old film in the background.

Autumn walk with dog, enjoyed the gusty winds and the leaf confetti swirling around me.
Listened to a book on BBC sounds whilst I did physio exercises for my bad back (which is definitely improving thankfully).
Cleaned bridle thoroughly and it looks beautiful.
Cleared out some books to take to charity shop and some textbooks to sell.
Daughter made dinner, sausage and mash, yum.
