Proper Juice?
Sam Adams, a drink from Boston! Wobbleade at its best!
Wes all bee inn hoty water if we don't feed the buzzards, and no work? Pennies banked, snorkers eaten! This will go back a long weigh!
I nose, I has bins at the Docks last too days and hey, that is what it is lick being BoP! Run me rig, and sore ted out problems. Not a lot has changed at the Docks. Pocket money cashed inn and converted to BoPsie's pension. nd she gets free money back from the tax man for doing so. Pennies came inn for old phones as well! Liquidated funds inn too the isa, away from the taxman's greasy palms!
So what has made your BoP happy these last too days!
Had mes snorker feast this morning, as said earlyer! Snorker, best back, has bins in tom sauce, mushrooms, poached egg and grilled toms! Served with tea and orange juice! Nice and proper!
Then we has too go out as BoPsie is out of her JD Honey! Liquidated from funds received from holiday we did not has in March. Ponder hows many peoples cancelled instead of waiting for them to do so! Liquidated funds now churned. Better inn BoP's pocket than theirs!
Watched more of the Grand Tour on the river box and started on too of the Urban Myths. Series four now. Could be so true as well! Wobbleades were consumed! Also court up on the Uni Challenge! Now up to date on that!
Had a proper buzzard curry last nite, with barges and egg fired riced. Chopped pepper, mushroom and onions also inn the mix! Not from Ben either. We wers given a Ben rice back inn March at lockout! Still inn date and unopened!
Just hads me lunch of scotched egg, angle slice and a choklate wafer! Tea was done inn the pot by BoPsie! Tasty. Rite tasty! for moor angle slices left! Oh crumbs!
Now weighting for the big games this evening. Kitty is ready for this #UTH #UTM
Rite, that is all for now!Don't chase the game?

Hello.Almost bedtime, just enjoying the last heat from the fire as I let it die out.Not done too much today though think I needed a day of not doing too much!Hello pay! You shall be swapped for two tyres! But nice seeing it sitting in the bank account till then.
up far too early with doggy as he vomited 3 socks! We both lay on the sofa afterwards till it was a more appropriate time to get up.
nice chat to friend on phone.Washing out and almost dry though it was quite a raw day.14 -
An annoying hour of cleaning just now. Picked bigger son up from "cycling" with 5 friends. I thought he seemed a bit subdued. Then I wondered why I could hear water running upstairs, only it wasn't water that was hitting the floorboards/beds/opposite wall from a great height. It was another substance, emanating from the top bunk... All covers changed, mattress cover off, smaller son's curtains that make his bunk into a four poster, the rug, everything I was wearing, many towels etc either in the washing machine or dumped on the patio outside. Bigger son is now lying on the mattress in a sleeping bag.
Anyway, pleasures for today!
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Hens OK.
3) Bigger son had a good day mountain biking (until the point he decided to hit the ciders).
4) Smaller son enjoyed the Man Utd victory.
5) I went to see my sister for a cup of tea.
6) The house was clean and tidy!
7) Made a tasty tea which was chicken, gammon, onions and sage fried up then cooked in puff pastry (like a massive pasty, cut into 3) with what will probably be the last of the runner beans from the allotment. Rice pudding.
8) Watched Strictly.

For yesterday,
Went to see my girl, she was still sore and tender on her mane, cleaned it and reapplied Sudocrem, then spent a while in her stable, sitting on my grooming box as she munched her hay.
Refilled bird feeders, thanks to our friends the nuthatches the peanut one needs doing every day.
Watched the rugby, my beloved’s home town didn’t win but good match and there was the consolation of another Utd win, 5 nil away from home.
Made a Paneer, Cauli and SP curry, except couldn’t get Paneer so used Halloumi instead, very tasty anyway.
Watched Airplane, still funny after all these years.14 -
balabaloo - hurrah uncle out of hispital & boiler working!villagelife - online poker nights are one way of staying in touch with friends in these crazy times.mhags - calf deep in a burn, yiikes, but halloween socks!frith - sons - both triumph & ongoing challenge. Last runner beans of the allotment? Neighbour thought a pick last week was the last - "oh!"DundeeDoll - A Honeybee Heart Has Five Openings: A Year of Keeping Bees, eh? May check with godfather (who keeps them) & see if he'd like a copy, or has already been given four....PaulieHerts - son repays money, and a cormorant in flight in one post? Riches!Happycas - better jab than regret. Himself refuses meter as incomer to fit - can see his point, but.BoP - JD honey does evaporate, I'm told. Splendid your holiday refund is being converted to other fun.LaineyT - sudocrem is wonderful stuff, but homemade bread & cheese reaches parts the research pharmacists haven't managed to name yet.
OS pleasures recentlySome days do not bear reconsideration. Helplessly cooperative, I agreed to test some new code, to find the data set supplied had fangs. So after the equivalent of three hours pruning a bad tempered gooseberry bush (plenty of minor scratches, nothing to take back to the kitchen in triumph & even the compost heap looking leery), my senior colleague chirped “oh no”. Then the remote access password (cloud technology, such a gift) wouldn’t. I took the hint & brewed up.Some Iron Age child burials had quartz pebbles on them. My hindbrain bringing a pebble home for the lad wasn’t quite so off beam. Startling to think parents have been doing this for thousands of years, & strangely comforting.“Spooky action at a distance” - Einstein on why teleportation isn’t a runner based on current maths. Husband wry “bet it sounds better in German”...Program on castles - and we’re crooning over assorted Dig family playgrounds. “Ah the little so-&-sos”, comes the rumbles, fondly recalling. Good times, cheerfully recalled, the slap of sandals & yells of infant invasion, (then pausing to feed the ducks that dipped in & out of the moat). Healthy respect for Edward’s castles, but much affection for the smaller Welsh ones.Child watching film entitled “I am mother”. “Eh?” “It’s about robots, mother” I can’t help but feel judged in some way... Reading Wikipedia, somehow reassured, but bemused at son’s choices. (I expect that’s mutual.)I found the coffee we bought a fortnight ago! (You thought 4 hefty posts were bad? Try me caffeinated....)Jamboree on the Internet this weekend! Can I explain how you sign in easily? Ah, no. It’s always been a try-this-&-“oooh!” on the Saturday morning for me...You know you’re a bit old when the cavatina for the deer hunter has you thinking “Gallery” - I whistled a bit waiting for code to shift & a lad asked what was it?!Weekly shopping done & In Case Of Emergency tea stash resupplied. Sons just looked & laughed, bless ‘em. They were startled I hadn’t bought the shop out, & I explained poor form to strip shelves bare.Found a heap of Swingles on YouTube! 70s a cappella, who got us children into Bach & then, slightly to my father’s irritation, Jelly Roll Morton et alia. Still have relative pitch thanks to hours of listening to these folks.Attended a "healthy weight management" seminar online & have resolved to go up & down one flight of stairs every 2 hours while awake fir the next fortnight. Too much sitting down is bad for you. (Drat, one of my special skills.)Yeay Jacinda! Took a 20% pay cut, won the nation. Now to restore an economy that leans a tad on less team spirited visitors.Colleague trying to share house & broadband with wife (soon-to-be vicar), son (studying from home) & daughter (just fetched back when she realised high odds of Covid quarantine - and has to cope with the box room previously occupied by brother!) Says cheerfully that it’s cosy, but goes into an office one day a week despite all the hazards & we joke it’s his sanity protection.Jamboree on Internet is loads of fun! Chat includes a leaders section this year - learned new online gamesMade half a dozen beeswax candles to delight my mother with (she's a very well disciplined poyromaniac, but can barely leave a single candle to burn unmolested). At Christmas she loads the table with things from people to remind all of their presence - this year the Dig family will be represented by candles.Noises off indicate they're representing themselves rather loudly - I should go14 -
Sad beyond sad. Devastating news yesterday that a dear friend's darling daughter was born sleeping. How does one pick one's self up from that? So 5 for yesterday
1) FB can sometimes be a very good way of communicating things
2) went to the botanics with mum and dd2 to sit and weep in the garden of remembrance they have for all those affected by loss of pregnancy and infant mortality. Below is the 'tree of tranquillity' where the leaves have the names of babies held in our hearts but not our arms.
3) the power of natural trees to uplift the spirits
4) then to mum's for tea and biscuits (she's in our bubble) - i stopped en route to walk the dogs up to hers
5) dd2 watched the rugby and mum and I made a start on my interview presentation for Wednesday.
With hugs and loves to you all. We share so much on these pages, and are so supported.
