1. Another day over at work. One less I will have to work. Everything seems designed to make things more complicated and to stop me doing my job properly.
2. Enjoyed my lunch I took in.
3. Long chat with my neighbour when I arrived home.
4. DS2 cooked tea which was good.
5. Drink with DH in the garden. Saw a road sitting staring at a snail.11 -

For the last few days, beloved had some holiday so made it a nice long w/e,
A meal out, in the evening, at a favourite local pub. It was burned down a year or so ago and stylish as it was we did miss the atmosphere of the old pub. Food was tasty though and we felt comfortable with their precautions.
Long reining equine girlie with me trotting behind her, good exercise as we both went over the poles.
Went to watch DN play in early stages of the FA Cup, good to see live football again.
A sunny Sunday at home, always a pleasure and made the most of the warm weather.
Tackled the shed of doom, to be fair there wasn’t much in the way of rubbish it just needed a good sort and sweep out. I know have my potting bench back in use.
We did offer a couple of excess garden chairs to the young people.
A day out at Grafham Water, long walk followed by a picnic.
Breakfast in town of horse, courtyard cafe of museum and warm in the sunshine.13 -

2. Sat in the garden doing a final thesis read through before submission into the British Library (get me!)
3. We have hot water again having come back from holiday to find it wasn't working
4. OH cooked a gorgeous lasagne
5. Watched Des - chilling.

Good afternoon
Vjm Congratulations. Very well deserved after all your hard work.
S Sue. No room for guilt in your situation. Concentrate instead on the very real love you show, which shines through in every post.
Bala Its like having our very own, in-house David Attenborough 😃 I'm already looking forward to the TV series.
Sorry I've been MIA, but nothing much to report!
Went to Aldi yesterday for first time since lockdown. I'd forgotten how cheap it is ( don't know how I managed that!) And how good some of their food is. Can recommend cod loins. Trouble is , I'm a faddy Annie about some things ( coffee, laundry liquid ) and so then have to shop elsewhere. Fine normally, but not since shopping has become a difficult activity!
Back to the hospital tomorrow. DH wound no better, but thankfully no worse. Let's see what happens next!
Happy Wednesday everyone

For yesterday.
1 Took MIL to hospital for an eye surgery, it went well and is a weight off their minds.
2 Spent a few hours at Keasney Abbey enjoying a drink in the shade and trying to keep FIL distracted.
3 They kindly treated us to fish and chips for all of us as a thank you.
4 Animals had a party in the house, which we came back to.
For Today
1 Up early today and got a few things done only to have fallen asleep on the sofa at 9am when the shopping arrived which I tried to look like I hadn’t just woken up for.
2 Spent the best hour, playing with our deaf ferret, throwing a soft foam ball about and dancing around, I think she was exercising me. She is always included in everything we do, but it was to warm to take her with us yesterday and she isn’t leaving our sides today.
3 I wasn’t planning on a takeaway, but we were sent a 75 percent off valid today, which seems to good to miss as long as it’s lovely that is.
4 I started cleaning the windows, mirrors etc, vinegar and newspaper, but could only do parts of the various windows as I don’t have the heart to kill the spiders and nests so left them alone and now I think the windows look a lot worse, ah well.
5 We are giving away some really lovely furniture as we are trying to clear down a bit, but we are selling a couple of things so DH and I wrote the adverts and photos for them today, just waiting for a bay offer now.
