Bad for the Garden?
Orton! Up Norff, scares the crows off and then ...
Bacon and Scrambled Eggs. Proper foods! Good form you! Crumbs, Lemon drizzle cake! Shoulder with us all!
Rites, on with the version of BoP's life that is safe to publish!
Well we had a snorkers and best back breakfest this day! Good for you with garden toms grilled. Very tasty! Was inn the A1D! this morning and it seems that as the store only recently opened its doors, the news is spreading. The old codger, no apoligies here please! was asking about the bacon. It is British and good for you!
We sneeked out last evening and had a couple of scoops of wobbleades. Tasty and a natter. Finally we has a Veterans Breakfast booked for next weak. Details soon!
Now watching the cricket, CPL version and they has a rasta duck graphic for when the are out for a duck! Two wickets inn the thirst over. Tea was drinked and a wafer biscuit scoffed watching the cricket!
Apart from that, not much happening at the moment. BoPsie got too BBQs, we has the sticky chicken brewing in the marinade. PM2VJM Please be aware that you should not cook chicken drumsticks on the BBQ. Chicken wings, tasty in BoP's own marinade, are turned every 9 minutes and coked for a full 36 minutes too ensure that they are cooked through. Ifs you are unsure about cooking buzzard, then leave it too the professionals like BoP.
BoP's Buzzard Marinade!
Tom Puree, Dark treacle, chilli, coriander, termites (turmeric!), garlic and other spices too taste. Mix into a paste and then dress the buzzard wings. Tasty. Serve with snorkers and a chilled wobbleade!
That is all!Keep up the cheer and go out with your smile!

Yesterday.....
Woke up in beautiful fresh bedlinen, had a lie in.
Lovely walk with dog, blackberries now ripening beautifully, elderberries starting to turn too.
New scented candles put into service, lemon lavender and clean cotton.
First trip into town for months, meeting an online friend in person for the first time. We talked for England.
Tea and cakes in a proper tearoom.
Two fab new tops from charity shop, absolutely gorgeous, virtually new, fit in all the right places, only £7.25 pair. I am never this lucky in charity shops normally.
Ready cooked pasta bolognaise from the freezer for dinner as we (son and I) watched The Durrells on Netflix. One life - your life - live it!14 -
Morning! Still not quite light and it’s almost 6am.Yesterday was a good day ( a very wet day) after a very early start with a doggy with a very upset tummy! I eventually cut out the middle man of the stairs ( having been up and down , up and down) and tucked myself up on a sofa ( then he tucked himself up on a sofa with me so woke up a bit squashed! )
Anyway we were catching up with friends which was lovely and we chatted for three and and a half hours and so much laughter, was very good for the soul!More furniture moving. Dressing table in my room.
DD2 made a big decision.Made lasagne for dinner with little roast potatoes ( from allotment) lasagne had courgettes from allotment in it.Had GN and the toddler for a couple of hours...holy moly! That boy does not stop! I went to bed not that long after they left and obviously fell asleep as I never had time to write last night!14 -
For yesterday,
Porridge for breakfast, first time in quite a while, must be getting cooler.
Managed to find some additional pieces online to inherited tea service, feels good to make it complete again and know that DM would approve.
Exciting times at the yard, planned outing didn’t quite go to plan but all ended well. I never forget that girlie is fundamentally a flight animal and, provoked enough, that will always be her first response.
Visit to pal’s house in the evening, we were supposed to be sitting in her garden under the fairy lights but monsoon type rain put pay to that so conservatory put to use. It’s so weird not to be hugging & kissing people hello but mighty good to catch up.
Coming home late and saw Mr Hedgehog in garden, sorting through leaves at the bottom of the hedge.

A wonderful thing.........
Just cooed at Flo and Co. Pretty sure it was them. They all stayed on the fence whilst I sing-songed my nonsense. Pretty sure Flossy was one of them as she/he gave me beautiful display of her wings and on the underside were the white feathers.
Am so pleased.

Morning all - from an overcast but dry ICT
Pleasures for yesterday
1. After being messed around by Hermes, my log store was delivered - we've just got to build it now
2. Finally got my eyebrows back! A visit to the beauty parlour
3. Nice walks to and from the beauty parlour (hate that term) and to the station - was shocked to see schoolchildren!
4. Good train journey and even 4 hours in a mask was fine. It was a homemade one which fits me better than the medical masks so i shall make some more.
5. Nice evening with an old friend in the pub.
Have a great day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens14 -
Pleasures for yesterday! (Thursday)
1) Bit of a lie in.
2) BIgger son had a job interview with the Coop. They interviewed a lot of people so just waiting to hear.
3) I went into town while he was being interviewed. Did the charity shops (2 open now) and found a Top Man t shirt for smaller son, very similar to his favourite that he has grown out of. He was very pleased. Also had a quick look round the museum but it has changed into a row of craft studios and a cafe. The interpretation for the other bits wasn't great (can you tell I worked there for 10 years?!)
4) Post interview, fed the hens.
5) Went into Ludlow as that is where bigger son will take his driving test so it is all good practise. More charity shops and found a t shirt for him. Had some pakoras from the market.
6) Torrential rain from about 3pm onwards so cleaned all the downstairs, tidied up, did washing etc.
7) Had some puff pastry to use up so make a giant pasty with Jamie Oliver recipe veg chilli from the freezer.
8) Watched Grand Designs.13 -

Watched another flix last night. Man of the House. Very good, with a bit of the usual twist. Cocoa and cheeses were consumed.
Cannot believe we is still catless!
Dumped BoPsie at her Salt Mine this morning as I came back to connect with the Docks on the web things. I see peoples wants me to go inn more often and save the pasty shop! Well I looked at the Pasty chop at New Street last year on the choo choo, nothing was fresh then, I bet it is stale now! So I has mes usual elevenses and the usual lunch. So the pasty shop can go and get ...
Got the buzzard wings readied for the BBQ tomorrow. Please make sure that if you do BBQ chicken wings, they need a good 36 minutes of the coals!
Right I is sore tin out a flix for this nite. Wobbleades are inn the refrigerator. Cheeses are on the cheese plate. BoPsie nahs her whine! More tomorrow!

Good afternoon
Glad the crows are back Bala.
The first meal out in forever was great. They took our temperature on the way in, but after that it all felt very normal; normal-normal not new normal. The meal was lovely too. Really cheered us all up!
Rain again today, so mooching about doing housework, not very enthusiastically, I must admit.
DS appeared at lunchtime - probably not a coincidence! Fed him and chatted for a while and then he went back to work.
Think weather like this means I'm allowed a lazy afternoon. Shall read my book, lying on the sofa.
Happy ☔ day everyone14 -
Yesterday
1 Travelled to inlaws with a rather full to do list, we took over homemade jams and birthday presents.
2 They fed and watered us.
3 Animals pleased to see us return home in the wee hours of the next morning, plus being we don’t have to be up in the morning, I’m tempted to just stay in PJs for the next 3 days but won’t. Animals are pleased to see us back.
4 So much rain there is literally washing hanging everywhere and in the dryer.
Today
1 Posted back a blumin awful bay thing it arrived badly packaged very damaged, so return to sender, put a package together for a friend to cheer and sent that off also.
2 We got engaged 17 years go tonight, celebrating with ordering in on a voucher.
3 Lots of animal interaction.
4 Very sleepy, clean on sheets tonight.
5 A bit of reading, may have to cave and start another book as I am wasting time struggling on this one.
