For yesterday,
To continue a theme had a lie-in, my sleeping is going through a bad phase so good to catch up.
Nice time at the yard, lovely time spent with equine girlie and also saw my pals for a catch up. Warm & muggy though.
We binged watched the programme about the Salisbury Poisonings.
The heavy rain started around 5pm and cooled things down nicely, beloved volunteered to walk small dog whilst I cooked, chicken tikka masala with sultana & cumin rice, yum.
Last let out into the garden for doggie before bed, everything smelt much fresher and the moon just starting to peek out from behind the clouds.

1. Met a friend for coffee - it was lovely and seemed such a treat.
2. Tidied the front garden which looks much better. Hopefully plants will grow now instead of the weeds!
3. Viewed a flat with DS1 he really liked it and put in an offer hopefully it will be accepted. It seemed spacious for a 1 bed flat.
4. More cherries.
5. We all watched True Grit which we enjoyed.14 -

A lovely sunny morning here, so out pottering and weeding in the garden, before taking the dogs for a walk and returning home to a bacon and egg sandwich and a lovely mug of tea.
One of two new books I ordered arrived, so had an hour reading that and now sat waiting for the football, read this morning In the paper that if there was no VAR my Wolf cubs would have finished in 3rd place......it would have been better not to know!Roast Pork and fresh veggies from the garden to look forward to later.
Made a crust less quiche to take to work for lunches next week, getting used to the half a week in the office and half working from home, quite like the balance.Well Behaved women seldom make history

Found another cache of blackberries on our walk today. I don't think anyone around here needs to buy any......
Looking forward to dinner, RTC burgers, topped with bacon, accompanied with a lovely salad.
Washing out on line and I don't see any rain...........yet !
Bought myself a cheap magazine that I love, all to do with home improvements on a budget. I have read and reread all my old ones and I figured I would treat myself.
Received great magazine from 3 local community/associations that have banded together to create it. Free of course. In it they mention a 'heavily bearded' delivery driver in the loveliest of terms. I think I know who they are talking about as he is such a warm, friendly man. He used to be scared of dogs but seems to feel comfortable with Tiggy. A convert !
Have a great day

Did an extra hour and some tips.DD2 kindly offered to pick me up.Nice doggy walk.Going out to dinner with DD2 .Home with leftover baked potatoes to go in freezer, for a future as a roastie!Have a lovely evening.15 -
